Yash Raj’s new Production has decided to shoot movie ‘Chak De! India’ in Australia. It will be a sports film which will be shot mainly in Melbourne and Sydney. ‘Salaam Namaste’ was also shot in australia. ShahRukh Khan will be in lead role for this movie. Shah Rukh plays a dishonored hockey player who returns to the game after a seven year gap, but this time as a coach. ShahRukh Khan takes up the responsibility of becoming the coach of an ignored girls’ hockey team. The team arrives in Australia to play for the women’s world cup and that is when their struggle begins for dignity and self respect. Source: Msn

Hi all SRK fans in sydney..I found out last night (quite by accident!) that SRK is staying at the Blue Hotel in Woolloomoolloo! so, if you hang around there you might catch a glimpse of him buying cigarettes at the bottle shop across the road! a warning though, he wasn’t friendly or keen to talk to us at all! worth a try though. good luck!

Hi, I agree with Tara, I was at the hockey stadium last night and the only reason people went there was to see SRK. I dont think anyone really cared so much about being in the movie. Most people gave up their time and turned up on a week night for the shoot, only for SRK, but sadly he wasnt really interested in acknowledging the crowd or even turning around for fans to take photos. I’m a HUGE fan SRK, but i came home quite sad last night! I know you wont care but its people like us who make you a huge star. You’ve lost a fan in me for sure..

I went to Olympic park to try to see shahrukh but i was so upset that he didn’t come out on stage. I waited two hours and he didn’t come out so i left. I’m a big fan of his and i almost close to tears because i didn’t see him. People might think it’s funny that i was close to tears but that’s how much of a fan i am of shahrukhs. I really wanted to see him, its my dream to see him and now my dream will never come true because he left Australia. Im so upset i didnt get to see Shahrukh.

I am a huge fan of yours, and I attended the Chak De! India shooting in Melbourne on at least six occasions. My most treasured moment was obtaining your autograph and being able to shake hands with you. You even spoke to me. I consider myself extremely lucky. Please shoot more films in Melbourne. I would love to come and watch you act.
Your new movie ‘Don’ was excellent. I especially loved your acting in the film. Personally, I find that the new Don was better than the old Don. Your performance was just as good as Amitabh’s, if not better, and you danced just as well as Amitabh in the song ‘Khaike Paan Banaraswala’. Do make a sequel to this movie.
You are my hero. You are extremely down-to-earth, and so friendly to the crowd. You are incredibly talented. When you act, you transform into that specific character. I love your laugh and smile; you are totally awesome, not to mention handsome! I am extremely happy in having the opportunity to obtain your autograph and shaking your hand.
For those who are complaining about SRK’s attitude to the crowd: Firstly, he does not have any attitude problems whatsoever. He was friendly with the crowd; he signed autographs and even shook hands with many. He had photos taken with a few people as well. I find it appalling that you would dare say that you would end being his fan, just because you considered his attitude towards the crowd poor. Let me tell you this; SRK has so many fans that I’m sure he wouldn’t even care to lose you. Some fan you are anyway; just because you didn’t obtain an autograph or shake hands with him, you insult him, and state that you are no longer his fan. SRK is a very busy person; he does not have the time to go around giving all his fans autographs. If you’re lucky, you obtain one. Have you even considered the fact that maybe he was forbidden by Black Cats to be too close to the crowd? He’s famous; his body guard may advise him to keep his distance with the crowd. Please get your facts right. Also, stop thinking you are doing him a favour by coming and watching him act; he didn’t force you to come, you came voluntarily. Take me for example; I came in the middle of my examinations. Even if I didn’t obtain his autograph, I would have thought that seeing him from a distance itself is worth it. That is how a real fan thinks.
I love you SRK. Watching you film in Melbourne was my only entertainment. I miss you filming. It was a very exciting experience to watch you act, live. I hope you continue to do more movies, and best of luck for the future.

u are my hero and I love your Films. Im not an Indian but I love bollywood and who you are you are so down to earth and your so greatful to have so many fans. To all those people who were disapointed that they didnt meet shahrukh or obtain an autograph. I know how u feel. I was an extra in the film and I was there 12 hour days working as an extra. I was lucky that shahrukh smiled at me and waved to me and other people. but and we extras couldnt get a picture taken or an autograph from shahrukh which i was quite upset about. a girl got yelled at caus she said hi to him and he said hi back and it wasnt even during a take! On the last day a few people were chosen who came to watch the shooting to meet shahrukh which was unfair over extras who work so many hours. The black cat films people were way to strict but unfortunately thats how it was and u just have to have contacts to meet someone like him or luckily be selected.
I hope you come back to melb shahrukh!

To those who feel that SRK has been horrible to you please read the following: In 2001 I won a competition 2meet SRK & since then i have travelled far & wide 2meet him everywhere he goes.
On 1 such occasion i travelled with my dad 2 frankfurt, germany. There were about a hundred people at the special dinner with SRK & it was our turn 2 meet him but people went crazy.
SRK was being pulled 2safety by his bodyguards but he still met my dad, he touched my dads feet 2ask for blessings.
My dad was overwhelmed & hugged him.
He told the organisers 2look after me & my dad.
We spent the rest of the evening with the organisers & ate our dinner with them.
I even managed to get their contact details to help pursue a career in filmmaking all thanks 2 SRK!!!
Now do you think this person is bad? no he is very good its just that theres only 1 of him & millions who are after him.
I’ve dedicated my career to him & i truly feel he deserves 2be respected as he is very sincere & hardworking thats why he is number 1.
Please don’t think i’m saying this because i’m a SRK fan, no i’m sayin this because theres very few people like him so please love him, respect him because he loves us all!!!

Assallam 2 all SRK fans….guess what ALLAH finally made my dream come ture i saw him @ the asian lifestyle show on saturday……… beleive once u c him u all will like him n respect him even more as me………. he is my fav HERO n PERSONALITY since my childhood, i mean since i can sence anything i hav been dreaming about him…n on saturday my dream came true n was 1 of the lucky once 2 c him.. it was sooooooooooooo ccroweded that i couldnt his autograph but was lucky enought 2 shake hands with n he even smiled at me when he was going theoru the crowed.he was soooooooooooo nice soooooooooooo down 2 earth n gentle……….. he would bent down 2 speak 2 his kids fans n there were a lot of english n black ppl who came especially 4 him like me……… he is jus amayzing he even spoke 2 us n let me tell u that he couldnt speak because we all made sooooooo much noise, he said a few diologues from his movie n he also sang a little 2 which we all went maddddddddddd………he said i really dont know how 2 take all this love… but i will continue working 4 u guys n then we all screamed soooooooooo much. SHAHRUKH IS A VERY SHY PERSON…..beleive me he might look really confident on screen but he is very shy, not in a bad way but he is very shy n he is quite small as well….but his height n body r perfact..when he was on the stage we all didnt wanting him 2 go but he had to……….. I really wanted to speak 2 him n take his autograph but wasnt that lucky but I really thank ALLAH cause at least i saw him from every angle n touched him…………..
