When Delhi times got in touch with the Gangster actress, she told DT, “An actor is an actor, and he or she will go wherever there is good work and where there are good people. I am an actor but also loyal to the Bhatts. I am going to be around whenever they need me. The amount of love and respect they have given me remains unparalleled. At the same t ime, if other production houses approach me with intresting scripts and good roles, why not?”
Salman Khan had a happy EID celebration, as his performance in his recently released Jaan-E-Mann has been talked about. But the star didn’t shy away from passing on the credit to his co-stars Akshay Kumar abd Preity Zinta. “Akshay is very good in the film,” salman was heard saying. And when asked which film he would like to see next – Umrao Jaan or Dhoom 2, guess what his reply was? “I am waiting for my next movies, Salaam-E-Ishq and Babul.”

Apparently, while shooting with the extra-rigid Mani Rathnam for GURU, the duo had to put on kilos of weight as they are shown progressing over a span of time in the film. And towards the end they are actually supposed to look ‘roly poly’ (though we wonder how that’s possible with the svelte Ash and the brawny Abhi). Now that was the easy part. What was really not that simple was that right after Mani’s shooting schedule they had to knowk off all that excess weight for Umrao Jaan and Dhoom 2 and suddenly the trainers, the jogging suits and weights all came out. “It was tough!” informs Ash. “But to get back into shape, we just had to sweat it out in the gyms at any given opportunity. And thankfully, all the ‘tone’ and ‘form’ are back. Believe me, it’s so easy to binge and put on. But working it off…ooof!”
Saif Ali Khan might come across as a split brat but the chote nawab does have a kind heart. Just last week, the actor celebrated IFTAR with a group of security guards at his son’s karate class in Andheri. According to Delhi Times source, Saif ali was shooting at a studio when he thought of paying a surprise visit to his son Ibrahim at the latter’s karate class. He wanted to check out Ibrahim’s progress. However, when Saif arrived at the venue, to his surprise, the security guard refused to let him enter the premises. Said ali lost his cool, abused the guard, pusghed him away and went inside. After a while, Saif realised that the security guard was only doing his duty and regretted being rude ti him. So he went back to apologise to him. Meanwhile, someone had pointed out to the security guard that it was Saif Ali Khan he had been arguing with. Of course, he was taken aback when Saif came up to him and apologised. Since it was evening, the security guard asked saif to join him for Iftar and the actor readily agreed. So. the team of security guards had a memorable Iftar party with the actor for company.
Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi used to be a teetotaller and a non smoker. But with her smoking away from her role in Corporate, Payal found herself hooked on to the cigarette. She tells Delhi times, “I picked up the habbit while shooting for corporate. Scence require retakes, you know, and I was soon habituated to it.” However, the gal has now quit amoking, “It was affecting my health really badly. And it just made sense to give it up,” she tells DT, “Also mom used to hate it that I smoked. SO now, after three months, I have given it up.”

In the good old days continuity was often a problem for the stars as they worked multiple shifts on different films. Zeenat was forced to wear a wig, which is quite apparent in the film. Rajesh Khanna too faced a similar problem when shooting simultaneously for Ittefaq and Do Raaste. The biggest of them all is of course, J.P Dutta’s opus “Umrao Jaan†where Ash reprises the role played by Rekha in the original.
Akshay kumar is facing a dilemma. The actor is bored with his look and decided to go in for something different. Working towards this, the actor is surrently working out at the gym to losse weight and is also in talks with his stylist friends for this new look. “I am bored, and if I am bored with my face, imagine what the audience must be facing?” says akshay kumar. Apparently, he wants to get back to the lean look; the way he looked when he entered the industry. “I want to go back to my lean physique, probably leaner than my Khiladi phase,” he says. The actor had put on weight in the last two years and wants to put a check on it before it gets out of control. “I am basically a fit guy, but sometimes you put on weight. I have been seeing myself on screen and I have realised that I need to shed six to eight kilos of weight. The reafter I will look much fitter.
