I was there at this premiere in Toronto few hours back. There were at least thousand people outside waiting to have glimpse of Abhishek and Aishwarya. As my office is nearby, I also waited to have a look at this oncein a life time event. But instead of scheduled time of 6 pm, stars came at 8.30 pm. Still thousand people waited outside. But why such delay. Even Mayor of Toronto Mr Miller has to wait. Why can’t Indian arrange something on time. And to add insult to the injury, 3 Canadian TV Vans with their satellite antenna waited for only half an hour and left. When stars came, there were very few cameramen and reporter, but fans in plenty. I noticed that the driver of the limo was same who dropped AR Rehman and Madhvan about an hour back. Was it because the same limo was used to and fro venue.
Anyway we enjoyed few moments of watching Abhishek and Aishwarya, who were magnificent. They even tried to come closer to us fans outside. But the policemen there would not allow them to come near us. We stood in extreme cold of Canada for 3 hours for a glimpse of one minute.
