Amrita Arora: I am just 22!!

Amrita Arora, at present, has hardly any movie on which she can bank upon for a big success. She is currently doing ‘Shart’ with Tushar Kapoor. She is working with Rahul Khanna in a Tanuja Chandra’s movie. She has Yagnesh Shetty’s ‘Cheetah’ and ‘Team-The Force’ with Sohail Khan. When asked about her present status (which is definitely not rocking!) in Bollywood, Amrita says that she doesn’t worry much about it. She is just 22 years old and has enough time to prove herself. Will anybody tell Amrita that ‘Time and Tide waits for none’!.

Karan Johar: ‘Kuchi Kuchi Hota Hai’ Animated Dogs

It seems Karan Johar is tired of working with the same actors again & again. After his film ‘Kabhie Alvida Naa Kehna’, Johar is now trying his hand at animation. “I don’t know how you will interpret this, but as far as I am concerned, this is a novel idea. It is a new territory for me. But at the same time, it will be a complete film for me…… complete as in there will be songs and dances in the film. There will be emotions that people can identify with. Basically, it will be a familiar idea in an alien territory,” says Johar.

According to sources, the film is a remake of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and it’s name will be re-titled ‘Kuchi Kuchi Hota Hai’ and the lead cast will be animated dogs. Yes, you heard it right. The animated movie will be different this time and dogs will be replacing the super-stars. The dogs will be singing and dancing in the film as well. The film will be approximately of 2 hours unlike the 3 hours of the original.

Koel Purie’s Friendly Thesis

Actress Koel Purie was directed by Rahul Bose once upon a time. And later she even shared screen space with him. So does working with an actor whom you share great camaraderie with make life easier? Koel says, “it makes it all the more easy. The more history you share with someone the more chemistry you have with him/her, and the comfort level increases.” Now do we take that as a universal phenomenon or should we add a ‘conditions apply”?

Lara Dutta: The stars are not in favour

There is something certainly wrong with Lara Data’s stars these days. She gets the movies but somehow the project does not materialize. First, she was signed by Sanjay Gupta for ‘Dus Kahaniyan’. But then Sanjay dropped Lara for hot Bipasha Basu. Again, Amarjeet signed Lara for the title role in his film which was to be directed by Sudip Sarkar. The movie was based on a true story. The launch party took place amidst much pomp in a five star hotel. But again the stars took their turn and the producer dropped Amarjeet’s movie and started another project. Lara seriously needs to do something. What about adding one more ‘A’ to the name -“Laara Dutta!’.
