Racial abuses? Not Danielle Lloyd
The House of Commons and the Indian Government have been rocked by the alleged racist comments against Shilpa Shetty at the Big Brother show. Danielle Lloyd, the Miss Great Britain who was stripped off her crown, has allegedly called Shilpa a dog. But the same Danielle Lloyd had, in an interview to BBC, given things an anti-racial twist. When she was asked, “WHo was Winston Churchill – a rapper, US president, the PM or King?” Lloyd replied: “Wasn’t he the first black president of America? There’s a statue of him near my place – that’s black”
Lloyd, who has apparently not appreciated the way Shilpa Shetty has left the chicken ‘undercooked’, had on an earlier interview expressed her desire to eat Indian food. Said the model, “I love indian food but I think it probably tastes better than in the UK? IS that right?”
Considering the disparity between her actual behaviour and what she had claimed earlier, does one conclude that celebs like her are acting when it comes to feeding viewers and fans with impressive sound bytes? Says Danielle Lloyd’s spokesperson, Angela De Fouw, “Danielle would be distraught to have been associated or linked with any form alleged racism. Many of Danielle’s closet friends are from multo-cultural backgrounds and are of diverse races. Danielle is the last person who would condone any form of racism or bullying.”
Yet, issuing such a comment when viewers have watched Danielle use such phrases doesn’t change the coloured perspective.

Shilpa’s being paid a cool Rs 3 crore and i feel that the real issues are outside that studio… after having watched the Indian version, i feel that they’re all there to play the game and have hides of a rhino and the morals of a drug addict

Um, I havent seen Big Brother, but from what it sounds like, she just happened to have really bad blonde moments because she sounds like she just…stupid. No offense, but come on. She just doesn’t seem to know about things that matter to other people because she doesn’t seem to really care about those things. Maybe, materialistic things is what facies her more, so she would have a better knowledge on those things. Oh, and who’s Shilpa Shetty?

All you people that are sticking up for Danielle, need to have a reality check. She proved she was racist, many of her comments have shown that. She is not young and naive – if she was she would not be where she is today. She is cunning and sly to say the least. Here are two FACTS 1) Endomel/Channel 4 have known for a while and have finally handed the police evidence of her calling Shilpa names including a paki, she also made up abusive songs – channel 4 had not shown it. It shows Danielle in her true colours. 2) This is an extract from an interview she gave to the independent 11/11/2006 – I am not a politician but…
If I was, I’d get more people into work and stop people coming into the country. There’s so many people who come into England because they know they can get benefits. People who already live here should get the jobs. But I don’t really know much about politics.
So instead of blindly defending her wake-up to reality. RACIST? – IF THE CAP FITS! Her talents are never ending thick, stupid and racist!!

Shabana, What a ridiculous thing to say! Just because she said she would stop people coming into the country does not mean she was racist. She didn’t say she would stop Indians coming into the country, you have made the assumption she meant that! What about the Polish people coming into the country. Grow up and stop making assumptions that people are racist. I want the government to stop letting people from other countries into the country because tax that should be used to improve our hospital is being spent on housing these people. It is not because I don’t like Pols, Indians, Kosovans, Iraquees, Africans or any other nation for that fact – it is purely that fact that I want my taxes that I work hard for to benefit me some of the time.

excuse so danielle aint a rascist to u lot.i personally think and know that danielle was the biggest rascist in big brother jade just got blamed for what that slag done.big brother edited the rascist stuff cos the whole world would find out and the show would closed down.anyways its old news but still im an indian an im apalled the way they treated shilpa but she was great and forgived them.

You are just as ignorant as jade and danielle. You should take your time and fond out how many british people live in foreign countries. I am a foreigner and my house where I come from is being rented by a british family. we all pay our taxes.Good example is zimbabwe where that president is trying to get rid of british people. Do they want to leave. BIG NO. They are calling on the international world to help them get rid of the prez so they can stay in that country. Don’t be stupid and naiive. British people migrate as well.
