Working with Aamir Khan is no mean feat. And if it’s a newcomer, well they need to have real fire in their belly to match up to AK’s sky-high standards. Ak’s perfectionist attitude has rubbed off really strong on the young Kunal Kapoor. He is known to do his homework to the T, before he begins shooting for any role, but strangely for forthcoming Hatrick, he skipped all the research and homework and cat-walked through the film. The actor doesn’t deny this either. “I play Punjabi character in Hatrick,” He informs. “When you speak in Punjabi the general tendency is to give bad words. So there have been times when while I was delivering the dialogue, I got so aggressive that I said one or two extra bad words laughing.” Well, so if any of you guys find Kunal Kapoor being little verbally abusive, just pardon him.

They are not only loved and cheered at bollywood but can also make an impact and presence felt in Hollywood. John landed at LA as his film ‘water’ had been nominated for the Academy Awards at the Oscars and definitely he enjoyed the extra topping of attention he received. Filmmaker Suneel Darshan is all full of praises for Upen Patel, who is currently burning up the screen with the title track of “Shakalaka Boom Boom“. Upen is playing a rockstar in the movie. Other stars include Bobby Deol, Kangana Ranaut and Celina Jaitley. Music is from Himesh Reshammiya.
“Upen is the superstar of tomorrow, he brings style and energy to the screen which a lot of our big stars don’t do today. It is time for the next generation of stars to take over. We need more youths in our cinema and he will lead the pack,” said Darshan.

Director Nagesh Kukoonoor has launched his romantic comedy film Bombay to Bangkok under the banner of Mukta Searchlight. The film stars Shreyas Talpade and Thai actress Lina Christianson. Actor Shreyas Talpade who won the Star Screen Award for the Best Actor in a Comic Role for Kukoonoor’s Dor this year was “extremely honoured and happy at working with Mukta once again after Iqbal.”
Actress Lina is very excited about the role. “I play a Thai girl who is naturally sexy, but with all innocence,” Lina says.
Nagesh says, “The basic concept of the film is that it’s a romantic comedy….There’s a lot of chaos….And in the end everyone lives happily ever after.”
Producer Subhash Ghai said that he was impressed by Kukoonoor’s ability to direct a comedy after seeing his “Bollywood Calling”. 90% of the movie will be shot in Bangkok and that too on 30 different locations. So, its ‘Bangkok Calling’ for Nagesh now.

Anand Kumar’s ‘Delhi Heights’ is all set to hit the theatres. The movie is about a building in Delhi with the stories of the lives of people living in it. Jimmy Shergil and Neha Dhupia are in lead roles who play characters employed in two rival firms. Other stars include Om puri, Rohit Roy and Simone Singh.
Ask Jimmy about Delhi and he has a lot to say about the city. Jimmy met his love in this city and eventually got married to her. His in-laws stay in Delhi. For Neha too, this metro has its own importance.
“I’ve spent a larger portion of my life in Delhi. Delhi brings back a lot of memories- school, college, friends, eating and hanging out………..”, says Neha. So, it is but natural that the actors have a special attachment with the film.

Rakesh Mehra was awarded the Best Director for ‘Rang De Basanti’ and Abhishek Bachchan received the best Supporting Actor Award for ‘KANK’. Where Abhi received the award from the hands of pretty Ash, Jaya Bachchan got her Lifetime Achievements Award from the hands of Big B. Konkona Sen Sharma got the best Supporting Actress Award for ‘Omkara’. Saif got the award for best Villain in ‘Omkara’. Critics Award was won by Rajkumar Hirani for ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’.
Our sultry Bips stole the show by her dance performance on the rocking songs of the70s and Rani Mukherjee shook her legs on the songs of 90s. Sridevi danced on numbers from 80s, where as Amrita Rao danced on numbers from 60s. We had Hrithik rocking the stage on numbers like Ek pal, Don, Dus Bahane, Rock n Roll, and Dhoom Again.

The casting of the film is unclear [barring Sanju and Arshad, of course]. “I am working on the characters,” Director Raj Kumar Hirani states, but makes clear that Vidya is not there.
”No, Vidya isn’t part of this film. This time, Munna falls in love with an American. We are casting a blonde as Munna’s love interest,” he says.

Cruz, who has been nominated for an Oscar in the best actress category for her role in Volver, expressed her respect for the Indian’ starsgreat body of work. “I am a great fan of Indian cinema and I would love to work with Shah rukh Khan,” she said.”I love india. I have the rights to a book and we are going to shoot the movie in india,”she added. cruz will play the lead in a screen adaption of Javier Moro’s original novel Passion India.

Instead of going for rehearsals, the actress proudly declared,” I regularly cook for myself. I don’t need any rehearsal.” However, the actress had turned on the gas knob without anyone’s knowledge while the shot was being prepared. While facing the camera, raima lit a match stick and in not ime the entire kitchen caught fire. Fortunately, the actress didn’t sustain any burns. talking about the incident, she says, “The scene required me to look busy preparing a dish. When the director asked me about my culinary skills I shamelylied that I’m a pro at it. Actually, I have never cooked in my life!”

Post marriage, Perizaad Zorabian is enjoying her marital bliss thoroughly. That is why she seems to be missing lately from the limelight.
