Vida Samadzai: The Kabul Empress
Vida Samazdai, a former Miss Afganistan, has her eyes firmly set on the ‘desi’ glamour circuit. Samzdai walked the ramp at the just concluded Lakme Fashion Week.
“I’ve walked for designers like Suneet Varma and JJ. Valaya before, but being a full-time model was tough,†she says. For now she is “enjoying every moment of the India experience†and is looking at a few Bollywood offers too.

Vida is a classy and kind girl. So no matter what others want, she will still keep her focus on her work with various NGOs. I have seen her in Jaipur working with orphans.

I know Vida personally and can tell you that her spirit and conviction are her most beautiful asset. A picture barely touches the surface of who this beautiful and wonderful woman is.

Calling Vida Samadzai ‘Miss Afghanistan’ is a shame for the people of Afghanistan especially the women. She took part in the Miss Earth Pageant Show only to get fame and some publicity to earn reputation so that she could enter to the dirty world of fashion and ultimately movies. The world of movies is very dirty especially that of Bollywood. Vida Samadzai is not only a shame for her family members but also for the entire people of Afghanistan.
I think she has earned plenty of money by spending her ‘golden time & body’ with others. This was the only thing, the reason why she claimed to represent the women of Afghanistan in her unilateral decision or may be some Zionist or feminist agencies were supporting her! Only God knows.

Dear Ali Afghan,
It is very easy and comes from ignorance when you judge (and misjudge in this case) people. Do you even know her? Read these messages and mostly they are talking positive. A person like yourself is one of those who has not much to do or is pessimistic. Please open your eyes and look at life differently. If she is a shame to the country, then you must belong to the stone age era. How about your men passing the law to allow men to have sex with thier women at any point of time. Isn’t that called raping?
As far as Vida’s image, she is known a a tough cookie. No one can mess with her. She is not even approachable to men and she lives her life with dignity. Sure the business is dirty, but that doesn’t make everyone in it dirty.

You are very stupid Prithia. Calling others from stone age makes you a “judging others” yourself. You are speaking from a very different perspective and a different society and background. You should learn how to respect others’ cultures and social setups. If you are brought up a different way and nothing matters to you,it does not mean Afghans are underdeveloped or they do not understand their dignity.
As far as the law passed in Afghanistan, it is also imposed by your community to further defame the govt of Hamid Karzai and prove to the world that he has failed in his job. By the way all know that he was a puppet and he does what he is told. There is no need of asking ordinary ppl about the law, you just go and ask your govt officials. You also need to look at it from a different political angle because there are so many hands involved in Afghanistan that common ppl cannot do anything. The UN and parliamentarians knew the bill was going to pass and was going to be signed by Karzai, why did they not shout at that time? This is a whole propaganda my dear!! If you have a little brain then you will understand the situation and learn to respect others cultures and religion.
Now think and chill!!

To vida and her stupid funs,
Vida, you have to face the truth dear, and the truth is that you are not pretty and beautiful at all. Yes, maybe you can attract some perverts like yourself and win their hearts with those half naked outfits you wear, but then you must know that they only like you as long as you are a slut. you know what i mean, now honestly, none of these guys who say they love you and die for you will actually accept you as wife or give you the least respect at all. why? Cause no one likes a girl who sells her body to get famous and make money. let me tell you in other words you are actually same as a prostitute. No offense… but someone has to tell you the truth and show you the mirror. And yeah, don’t defame Afghans, afghans are never proud of you. As an afghani woman i am telling you these. So yeah you are not an afghan let alone being a muslim.
you are a shame. think about your hereafter and what if you die today…. where will all this fame and lovers go. who will accompany you to your grave???
ponder and fix yourself.
well wisher

vida, and all who follow you,
after all I would be 100% proud on you if you please dont wear that 10-15% remaining of cloth.
what is the difference if you show 80% of your body and not the rest, that will grasp a very rich angle, and you will become mother of Malika,
anyways better you rethink about this. or never walk under the name and flag of Afghanistan, you are shame on pure and clean Afghan women,
and for the girl who claimed the law by men in afghanistan , you are still a kid, you generlized that law by title, there is always a title and the the bullet points one bullet is under that law , only if the women is not in her period, and many other excuses.
cheers,
zinda bad afghanistan
