Lara Dutta, these days, is revealing other sides of her talents. She is busy writing two scripts, one is a romantic comedy and the other is a period film. She is also keen to act in them. She has also donned a new role as a reality TV host for IIFA along with Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar and others for the show ‘Star ki Talaash’.

She feels the reality shows are all tears, laughter, jubilation along with disappointment. She says, “I loved the idea when it was told to me. It gives an opportunity to reach out to your audience. It’s amazing to see the change in personalities. It’s a gift. That’s why I shall try and ensure that the contestants don’t have jitters”.
