With Iconic star Hema Malini as her mother and rising actress Esha Deol as her sis, one would naturally assume Ahana Deol to face camera but Ahana seems to be more at ease behind the camera. The young gal is all set to put on the director’s cap.
Ahana is going to direct a film about a man who faces hardships and emerges triumphant. The male lead has not yet been finalized (though Kunal Kapoor seems to be a strong candidate), but the female lead will be played by the director’s sis Esha Deol.
Ahana says, “I never aspired to become an actor. It’s not my scene. I don’t like the thought of wearing make-up. As it is I don’t like to doll-up.” No doubt the proud father Dharmendra is beaming.
