The popular name in the Bollywood, Koena Mitra, the actress known for her skin show and some of her acting, is a quite bold girl. Koena loves alone in the ‘bhai’ city, Mumbai but still she is managing quite well. Koena feels that the actress who wishes to make a career in Bollywood should know how to take care of herself. Koena tells Times of India that “though I wasn’t quite the tomboy, I could always take care of myself.” She adds “My parents knew that and they weren’t worried about whether I could make it on my own in Mumbai. Touchwood, they have always been very supportive and understanding towards me. Frankly speaking, when I became an actress I never had any godfather to guide me on my path to stardom. I have gone through hard times and sometimes I even had to make my own decisions. I am not saying a star son or daughter has it easier — they too are weighed down by expectations, but at least they are lucky and fortunate that they have someone to guide them and show them the right path in this industry. It has all been the hard way and I had to start everything from scratch.”
