Sushmita Sen visited the sailors of INS Viraat for NDTV’s show ‘Jai Jawan’. Sushmita was flown from Mumbai by the Pilots of the Viraat in their Chetaks. Sush also had the guts to volunteer for the dangerous ‘Jackstay’ in the middle of the ocean which involved her being sent across to another ship, the INS Beas with the help of cables. She then had lunch with the sailors and officers. She also cheered for the tug of war competition for the jawaans.
She overwhelmed the sailors by her performance which was held in the hangar, way down below the flight deck. She recited some poetry and also danced to the track ‘Mehboob Mere’ from Fiza. She also sang ‘Aaj jaane ki zid naa karo’ for them.
