Sherln Chopra is in to fight for a cause of creating awareness against cruelty meted out to animals. For this Miss Chopra will shoot for a real hot ad for PETA (People For Ethical Treatment towards Animals) which will have Sherlyn dressed in very sexy lingerie and wielding a chain and a whip. The message, in Sherlyn’s words, would be to tell people that chains and whips are meant to be used in bedrooms and not against animals.

PETA folks also showed Sherlyn videos of animals being killed and skinned for fur. Sherlyn was so horrified after watching these videos that she has vowed never to wear fur clothes in her life.

Are Esha Deol and Tusshar Kapoor an item by themselves? Hard to tell, though the word is now out that both are pitching in with item numbers for Rohit Shetty’s forthcoming film, ‘Sunday’. While the daughter of Dharmendra and former dream girl Hema Malini will now dance to Shibani Kashyap’s tunes along with actors Ajay Devgan and Arshad Warsi, Tusshar will perform to the music of singer Raagahv being choreographed by Ganesha Acharya. But would the item numbers add any Friday sizzle to ‘Sunday’? That remains to be seen.

John Abraham is in South shooting for Nagesh Kukunoor’s ‘Aashayen’. Sources have it that he plays the role of a terminally ill-patient (somewhat like Rajesh Khanna in Anand) and, for that touch of authenticity, he will be losing weight steadily. Since John and Bipasha’s split are giving colours to gossip columns, quite likely that the next coming in would be- John going through a depression and losing weight alarmingly!!

The star socialite Paris Hilton has won the sympathy of people from different corners of the world. And India is one of these places. The famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan has sympathized with the heiress and said that Hilton will become a strong woman on her return from jail.

Salman Khan has himself served several stints in the jail because of reasons like killing of protected wild animals and crashing his car taking the life of one and injuring two others etc. But Salman sees the positive side of the imprisonment. He feels that the peaceful atmosphere of the jail helped him calm down his rage and wild and hopes the same for the heiress too.

Salman says “When you are in there, there is no one more important than you. You have to handle being alone. You have to love yourself. Everybody should get this time to be alone. “It will make her a stronger person.”

Ruslaan Mumtaz, a newcomer in the galaxy of Indian stars, Bollywood, feels uncomfortable while doing kissing scenes. While other newcomers try to climb the ladder of success doing such steamy scenes, Ruslaan has a different stand about it.

Ruslaan felt embarrassed when he had to do a kissing sceen in his upcoming film, MP3. Poor young boy did the scene correctly after around 80 retakes. Ruslaan tells Delhi Times that “Well, that’s right. I was aware the script included a kissing scene. So, it wasn’t a surprise for me. In fact, I have to give credit to my co-star Hazel who made me feel very relaxed and comfortable during the shot. I feel that we as actors are just doing our job. So, why make an issue out of it? I feel this scene has been very aesthetically shot with the Eiffel Tower for a backdrop.”

It all began with Arjun Sablok’s ‘Neal ‘n’ Nikki’. The film was a flop. But the couple hit the right notes. They started as friends but soon started dating each other. It has been two years and now they are thinking about marriage. Uday Chopra and Kajol’s sister Tanisha are yet to get approval from the audience, but the couple has already got a green signal from their families. So, another wedding bell ringing for Bollywood?

Things are not workinh for Ayesha Takia now. Her ‘Fool n Final’ bombed at the box-office. She walked out of Aamir Khan’s prestigious ‘Ghajini’ and now she has also opted out of Sujoy Ghosh’s fantasy film ‘Aladdin and the Mystery of the Lamp’ where she was supposed to play princess Jasmine opposite Ritesh Deshmukh who plays Aladdin. Big B is playing the role fo the genie. As things did not work out with her, Ayesha has left the project and the director and producer are hunting for another face.

The final starcast of the film as of now comprises of Amitabh Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla and Sameera Reddy.

Kangana has often been the target of film critics for her dialogue delivery. Now the gal has decided to stand up to it. So, she has begun with her classical singing lessons to improve her dialogue delivery. She wakes up religiously at four in the morning to get ready for her riyaaz. Her guru is Amitabh Chakraborty and he arrives, dot at five in the morning. They practice for a good two hours before she leaves for shooting.

Initially Amitabh was a bit hesitant to teach Kangana as he feels classical singing should be learnt either before 18 years of age or after a good 40 years, but now he seems happy with Kangana’s dedication and progress.

Kangana Ranaut is confident that classical singing will help improve her voice quality.
Apparently Kangana’s neighbours are getting used to the weird screams from her gold mine. Anyway, the gal plans to learn to play the guitar as her next step.

Speculations are rife that the macho man of Bollywood, John Abraham and the beautiful Bengali damsel, Bipasha Basu, have said good bi to each other. It is heard that one of the most well known Bollywood couple estranged when Bipasha left for Yorkshire, London to attend the IIFA awards ceremony and John made his way to Hyderabad to shoot for Nagesh Kukunoor’s ‘Aashayen’.

According to some close friends of the couple, John and Bips had been quarreling a lot from last few days. The two decided to part their ways soon after they were back from the shooting of the film ‘Goal’ in London.

However, the two hot stars have not officially declared their split yet. A source says that “They are not going to make it official any time soon as they need to appear together for certain brand.”

According to a recent interview of Bips, she hasn’t split with her handsome beau, John.

The Dhoom and Golmaal actress, Rimmi has vanished from the screen these days. Wondering why? The reason is that Rimmi wants to do some different kinds of roles now.

The Bengali girl who has not delivered any substantial performance yet, wants to change her image from that of a conventional actress to an unusual and meaningful one. Rimmi wants to work with some different directors such as Sriram Raghvan. The ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ actress is working with Sriram in his upcoming film, ‘Johnny Gaddar’ and in ‘Shagird’ by Tigmanshu Dhulia.

So will Rimmi be able to do a make over of her image? Lets wait and watch.

The versatile B-wood actor, Rahul Bose had recently got an injury while shooting for his forthcoming film, ‘Chain Kuli Ki Main Kuli’. Rahul sprained his ankle while playing rugby. But an injured Rahul doesn’t mind the injury and pain due to it and feels that all this is a part and parcel of work. He tells Delhi Times that “While playing rugby, someone fell on me! This is all part of the game. Injuries come as a package deal while shooting. I’ll rest it, and in three days I should be fine.”

After the much talked about film Pyar ke Side Effects, Rahul had disappeared from the big screen because he was waiting for something worthwhile to come his way. Lately he worked in a short film named Ctrl Alt Delete. The film was a hit and was shown in many foreign film festivals. A happy and contended Rahul said “Actually, I prefer to wait than jump over any project that comes my way. And, this formula works.”

Based on the claims of Mumbai newspapers (including Hindustan Times) we had reported that actress Rani Mukerji and filmmaker Aditya Chopra got engaged, but all this turns out to be a rumour as Rani’s father Ram Mukherjee issued a press release on Wednesday, denying the speculation.

‘This is a rumour; the news is not true at all. Rani is busy with her work and she will not do anything secretly,’ he said.

Rani is busy shooting for ‘Laga Chunri Mein Daag’ and Aditya Chopra is going thru a bad phase owing to his divorce case with his wife. Kirron Kher and Anupam Kher, who were reportedly said to be present at the ‘Roka’ called the entire issue baseless as Kirron was with her son Sikander Kher the whole day, he not being in good health.
