The girl-next-door has turned sizzling siren. Masumeh Makhija might have made her debut in ‘Chupke Se’ as a cutie pie and followed it up with a commendable performance in ‘Maqbool’, but she is all set to up the oomph meter, having signed Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Alibaug’ and ‘Dus Kahaniyan’.

“I want to concentrate on personal growth rather than get slotted as a glamorous or serious actor,” says Makhija, having recently wrappd up a German film, ‘Tor Zum Himmel’. And with her interest in martial arts Muay thai, here’s a woman of many talents.
