Rani Mukherjee turns angel after playing prostitute
Pradeep Sarkar’s ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag’ saw Rani Mukherjee give an applaud able performance as a prostitute. Now, in the next Yashraj film she will be seen playing an angel descending to earth with a rather sweet and heartwarming mission.
This is by far the first angelic role of its kind and Rani seems to have taken her role a bit too seriously even going as far as to abstain from her favourite fish dishes to feel the pure and positive energy of an angel. Says an insider, “It’s not easy playing an angel. It’s a character absolutely without a reference point. Rani has gone into her inner resources to create the character.”
The still untitled film will be completed in February and not in December as reported in the press.

Remind us of the Rangeela the first movie that showed Urmila in the NEWSWEEK as the prostitute that opened the new pages of the Bollywood. The movie was, is excellent. Rani has written this again. I think we need the open exposes that is right. This is truth.
