Yes! “Circuit” as we all know him, is turning into a producer! He will be seriously beginning this soon under the banner “Shooting Star Pvt Ltd”.

Not only this, Arshad has been secretly working on a script for quite sometime now. Though he refuses to make any announcements as yet, it comes as no surprise that many big banners have shown a lot of interest in investing with Warsi’s company!

All that is confirmed till now is that his first venture will be directed by none other than Raja Sen, who is currently directing Rakesh Roshan’s “Krazy 4”.

We will soon get to know if this star will himself act in his home production or let the films create magic without his presence.

Sandhya Mridul who had never really got an opportunity to shake a leg in any of her films due to the roles she played, is now letting herself free on the sets of the dance competition “Jhalak Dikhla Ja”.

Apart from this, what has come as a pleasant surprise or rather as a “shock” to Sandhya, is that after seeing her sizzle to the song “Mehbooba Mehbooba”, she has been offered an item song by G.S Entertainment in their forthcoming film which is to be directed by Bunty Walia.

According to a source, Sandhya has agreed to do the item number though she did not feel that her image works upto that of an item girl!

Sandhya who is apparently very skeptical about the whole issue, is considering the offer as a golden opportunity, but has preferred to keep it silent before anything materializes. She is surely excited about her stance in “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa” about which she said, “My world has changed I can now figure out the difference between a cha cha cha and a rock-and-roll and a samba. It is definitely an overwhelming experience for me.”

This comes as pleasant news for all those who love the work of ace film maker Vishal Bharadwaj and the superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan!

For the very first time, these two men are coming together to do a film adapted by Shakespeare’s “King Lear”.

After his first two Shakespearean films “Maqbool” and “Omkara” which were loosely based on Macbeth and Othello respectively, Bharadwaj is all set to adapt another of his masterpiece “King Lear”. Overcoming a little difficulty, he finally convinced the Big B of Bollywood to play the role of King Lear himself.

Though nothing has been made clear officially about the film’s details, all we know is that the music of the film will be composed by the talented director himself. After finishing with the script of the film, it will go on floor and by April 2008, it will hit the theaters.

This film will surely be a treat for every film buff and to see Big B become King Lear, will be something all of us are looking forward to.

After a brief hiatus and a short trip to the jail, Salman Khan is back in action. This time he is once again baring his chest for a movie titled “Tarzan” where he gets to play the title role! In fact he might even be seen sans his trousers if his role so demands.

With his well crafted muscles, toned body and a shaven chest, it seems that Salman won’t have much problems getting into the skin of the character of “Tarzan”. In fact this handsome dude considers himself lucky to get such a role. “”I was always fascinated by Tarzan stories and I am glad that I have got a chance to do the film,” Salman told mediapersons in Mumbai.

Salman has decided to go in for a different kind of hairstyle for the film which will be shot in the jungles. In fact he seemed quite excited about shooting with animals amidst huge mushrooming trees.

“Tarzan” which will be directed by well known director Aneez Bazmee, will hit the theatres next year. Seeing this Khan bare his chest again, will be a delight especially for all his female fans!!

After Saif Ali Khan’s public announcement about his affair with Kareena, his Italian ex girlfriend Rozza Catalano has been trying to concentrate on her career into Hindi films.

This beautiful belle has signed her first film which is titled “Shaurya”. It will be produced by Moserbaer and directed by Samar Khan. About signing this Italian damsel, Khan speaks, “I had been looking for a girl with an international face and Rozza was the first choice for the role.”

Apart from Rozza, this film stars Rahul Bose, Minisha Lamba and Kay Kay Menon. The music is composed by the very famous Adnan Sami.

Films are not the only thing that’s keeping Miss Catalano busy these days. She has also been roped in for a fashion based show on TV which will soon hit the small screen. Says the optimistic woman, “I am happy with the kind of offers I am getting. I am sure the future is bright.”

After having learnt six different languages, Hindi will be the 7th for Rozza but she is positive about mastering the lingo. For now we can just wait for this stunning actress to woo us on screen.

Sanjay Datt, who was temporarily bailed by the Supreme Court of India in an order issued in August for the actor to remained free till he would get a copy of anti-terror court that sentenced him for the imprisonment of Six Years, was remanded judicially after receiving the 43, 490 page long copy of the judgment from the designated TADA court on 22nd October 2007.

Sanjay Dutt is the most high profile of 100 persons convicted in 1993 Mumbai Bomb Blast in which 257 people died. He was convicted for possessing illegal arm received from main accused in the bomb blast. Before being released on Bail Sanjay Datt earlier Sanjay Dutt spent 3 weeks in Yerwada Jail in Pune and may be sent back to same place again.  However, the future of the movies in which Sanjay Dutt is acting has been hanged once again.

The latest buzz is that the young and talented Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has a crush on the beautiful Om Shanti Om actress Deepika Padukone. Dhoni has become a victim of the killing looks of the hot and sexy model turned star daughter of the former badminton champion Prakash Padukone.

Dhoni had sent an invite to the Karnataka girl to watch the T20 Future Cup match between India and Australia on 21 October 2007. And there were several speculations regarding Deepikas decision. Ritesh Deshmukh has probably been the trend setter to all the politician sons who have wanted to join the bandwagon of films! This time it is Union Minister of Steel, Chemicals and fertilizers, Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag who has forayed into films.

Chirag admits to always have films on his mind. After completing his graduation, he decided to take up his inclination seriously. He will debut in friend and film maker Anuj Saxena’s film which is yet to come up with a title. “We are in the process of locking in the script of the film after which the crew and cast will fall into place”, says Anuj.

While some believe that having a mentor inBollywood is very important, for Chirag, it’s the right approach and hard work that eventually pays off.

The charming and chubby Vidya Balan has shed quite a few kilos of weight recently but not because someone had asked her too but due to a sheer self realization to look good in every character she plays.

“Recently I was in Toronto for two months where I used to go for long walks. That has helped get in shape”, she admits. Her appearance in “Hey Baby”, “Lage Raho Munnabhai” and the recent “Bhool Bhulaiyaa”, have been refreshingly different from one another.

Ayesha Takia has been dictating her own terms as far as her role is concerned. Actually when she was approached by film maker Anurag Kashyap for the film “No Smoking”, which also stars John Abraham, she was quite unconvinced with her role.

Now in the film, Ayesha has a double role. She plays John’s wife and secretary. Though she is quite ok with her role as the wife, but she made Kashyap rewrite the role of the secretary.

“The secretary is insane about her boss and desperate about having an affair with him”, quotes Ayesha, who has done away with the few kissing and love making scenes from the script. In fact, Ayesha convinced Kashyap to redraft her entire role to suit her interest.

What makes things more interesting is that the actor who gets to share the screen space with the gorgeous lady is none other than her “Pyaar Ke Side Effects” co star, Rahul Bose. Due to release just before Diwali, this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film has already raised hopes with its lavishly shot film promos. Though the crew is unwilling to reveal the plot of the film, it surely seems to be a must watch.

In fact a month before it hits the theatres, the songs of “Sawariyaa” are already a hit with music lovers….and for the two star kids there is nothing to worry ‘coz by now they have thousands of fan following.

We can now just wait and watch if this film can repeat the magic of Bhansali’s “Black” or “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”.
