It was well expected earlier as once again Mani Ratnam has casted his favorite actor Mani Ratnam in his next movie after the successful ‘Guru.’  Mani Ratnam and Abhishek Bacchan who teamed up during the shooting of ‘Yuva’ that Abhishek describes as first turning point of his career and Guru as the second one to an extent gives credit to Mani Ratnam in shaping his career.

The new movie that Mani has panned to shoot from September this month is featuring most talked about pair of Bollywood Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai to be acting in one of the intense romantic movie of Mani as told by one person very close to the project. He further added, “It’s going to be a very intense love story. Where ‘Guru’ was more a bio-pic with a cavalcade of characters claiming screen space, this film will focus primarily on the romance.”
