She has had a long series of controversies attached to her owing to her affair with West Indies Cricket star Vivian Richard in the 80’s and on being an unmarried mother of Masaba. Now, Neena Gupta has decided to move on. So, at 46 now Neena is quite done with her mom responsibilities and on July 15 she reportedly tied knots with high profile Chartered Accountant named Vivek Mehra whom she had been dating for quite sometime now.
The wedding was held at and only close friends knew about the wedding. Knowing it is Neena, who plays life with her own rules, we are not surprised that she gets married at such a mature age. So, at an age when most of the Indian women think that they have already lived their life, Neena is ready to turn a new leaf in her life!

Neena has made unconventional personal choices but everyone deserves happiness and if marriage makes her happy, people should be happy for her. And BTW which world is the author of this article living when he/she refers to her age as “mature”? People start their lives at 40 and 50 these days so dont get started on that one. It is passe to now get married at 20 cause most get divorced by 40 anyways…lol!!

Well done Neena! You deserve this happiness. Your example is an eye opener for the conservative Indian society. We need women like you (and ofcourse men like your hubby)to make a change for better. Wish you both all the best and a very happy married life.
