Kareena’s 28th birthday couldn’t have been more special. She had her beau Saif with her in the chilling weather of North India and then getting an opportunity to meet the Jawans at Kargil. It was Bebo’s mom Babita’s idea that to make her birthday somewhat different and special, she spend her birthday with our soldiers working on duty at Kargil.
Speaking about this wonderful experience, Kareena says, “We weren’t just surprised to see Jawans working for our Country, but astonished to see that they were comfortable under such drastic climatic conditions.
Talking about how it happened, Kareena said, “As we were passing by Kargil one day prior to my birthday, mom told me to visit the Jawans as it would be a unique experience and a once in a lifetime opportunity to get their blessings as well. Both Saif and I were excited as well as amazed with the way the soldiers live in such extreme climates and still manage to keep calm under pressure, which gives us an immense sense of pride. We wish them luck and not just them but all the soldiers of our country and wish to thank them for all that they have sacrificed and done for us – the people.”
Hardly has Big B’s ‘Unforgettable Tour’ come to an end that SRK has speedened his preparations for ‘Tempatations Relaoded’. After convincing stars like Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal to be a part of his much ambitious world tour, SRK has got in the nod from Bollywood hotties Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone. SRK is planning a series of concerts in Germany, Spain and Dubai in the month of October.
Bipasha and Deepika will be seen in the German leg of the tour. The two ladies, who sparked rumours about not getting along too well while working together in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, are likely to share the stage during the concerts. Even Kareena Kapoor is expected to join the tour.
‘Temptation Reloaded’ will also feature SRK’s good friend Arjun Rampal who is likely to play the guitar onstage, like his character in ‘Rock On’.
The concerts are scheduled thus: Show in Berlin on October 17; in Munich on October 18; in Frankfurt on October 19; in Barcelona (Spain) on October 20. There will be a four day break before the final concert in Dubai on October 25.
If Saif Ali Khan dubs the male lead of the animation film ‘Roadside Romeo’, who else could be a better choice for the female counterpart than his true passion, Kareena Kapoor. Yes, Kareena has recently completed dubbing for this film by Yashraj Studios. Kareena really enjoyed giving various sounds for her animated character in the film. The film will be the directorial debut of child artist-turned-hero Jugal Hansraj.
Kareena made sincere efforts to give in her best. She heard the story and took time in understanding the character she had to dub for. She even saw Kung Fu Panda for which Angelina Jolie dubbed for.
Says Kareena, “It was fun dubbing for Road Side Romeo. It’s the first time ever an actress has dubbed for an animation film and since it was a first of sorts, it was particularly challenging.”

“Doing the Vogue cover was a promise I made to Anaita (Shroff Adajania) right from the time she joined the Vogue. Anaita was having a baby and she wanted me to do it before she delivers. I was to do this shoot last month but I fell ill before I left for the world tour. So, we crossed notes and managed to do it on time in London just after we finished almost the last show of the tour,†said Aishwarya.

Yes, this is the latest ad from the youth division of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals India (PETA) shot by ace photographer Dilip Bhatia for petaDishoom.
Speaking on the reason why she chose to spread this message, Shamita says, “I turned vegetarian when I was quite young because I realised that if I really loved animals, I could not eat them. … [Meat] is not healthy and not good for your body.”
When asked how she maintains her good looks and trim figure, Shamita replies, “I am a [vegetarian], and so I eat a lot of veggies, salads and fruits, and those foods are alive, so I am alive! And in terms of working out, I get all my energy from veggies and fresh stuff.”
