Priyadarshan’s next comedy “De Dana Dan” has the star-cast of Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Suniel Shetty and Neha Dhupia. Now, an added member to this team is Sameera Reddy.

Sameera confirmed the news and said, “I’ve never worked with Priyan before. But I think he liked my comic timing in ‘Race’ where I played Anil Kapoor’s airheaded assistant. That’s how I am in ‘De Dana Dan’ too. I’ve always been a big Priyan fan, by the way.”

However, Sameera will have to wait for sometime before she gets to work with Priyadarshan because Priyan has shifted this comedy from November 2008 to January 2009 because he is busy with “Bam Bam Bhole” starring child actor Darsheel Safary of “Taare Zameen Par” fame.

And the director sure is excited about it.

“‘Bam Bam Bhole’ is not a small arthouse film. It’s a full-on entertainer. And it needs nurturing. Once I release ‘Billo Barber’, I need to promote ‘Bam Bam Bhole’ properly. ‘De Dana Dan’ with Akshay, Katrina, Sameera Reddy, Suniel Shetty and Neha Dhupia has gone forward by a few months.”

Deepika Padukone is on a joy ride these days. She has a successful ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ behind her, she has upcoming big one ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ with hit machine Kinng Kumar lined up and she also has Saif’s ambitious home production as well. On the personal front too she has a wonderful beau Ranbir Kapoor alongside which keeps the couple much in news.

Now Deepika has another reason too to be cheerful about. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has selected her for a leading role opposite Hrithik Roshan. The buzz is that Bhansali is trying to get the rest of the cast sorted by end of this month and expects to start shooting as soon as Hrithik completes his current movie, ‘Kites.’

Hrithik is presently holidaying in Bora Bora, close to Tahiti with his wife Suzanne Khan. He has been busy for the last two months shooting his home production Kites in USA.

One year it was the controversial performance from Mallika Sherawat for 50 lakhs, the year next was Bipasha Basu who pocketed in a whopping 90 lakhs for half an hour performance and guess who will give her performance this year. Definitely none other than Katrina Kaif who has given a series of hits at the box office lately including ‘Namastey London’, ‘Welcome’, ‘Race’ and latest being ‘Singh Is Kinng’.

Needless to say, the actress has been paid a huge sum of money amounting to about 1 crore for this performance. Noted designer Rocky S would be in charge of her costumes while Bosco-Caesar will be choreographing her act.

When contacted, Katrina, who is in New York where she is currently shooting for Kabir Khan’s film, New York, refused to confirm the amount but said, “Yes, I am performing at the Marriott on December 31. We have finalised the deal.”

“It will be good fun. I am looking forward to it. I have a very comfortable equation with Rocky S,” she said.

So what songs will Katrina shake a leg to? “We haven’t listed the songs as yet. But it will obviously be some of the hit songs from the films which I have acted in,” she added.

That Kamal Hassan’s daughter Shruti Hassan is making her acting debut in Soham Shah’s movie ‘Luck’ is stale now. The latest addition to it is that this multi-talented chic will also sing a song for the film.

It was but obvious owing to the fact that she is the lead vocalist of the rock band Extramentals. She also has the experience of playback singing, having sung her first song at the tender age of six for her father’s film ‘Thevar Magan’. ‘Luck’ has music by Pritam and it’s reported that one song is specially being composed for Shruti.

‘Luck’ is a fast-pace movie which has lots of outdoor adventure and Shruti’s friend Imran Khan stars opposite her in the film. In fact, it was Imraan who recommended Shruti to director Soham and then again suggested to add Shruti’s vocals to the film. Imran and Shruti grew up together because their families were closely knit.

Yet another title for Miss World and Bachchan Bahu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Beating her Hollywood counterparts, Ash has grabbed the title of the woman with the sexiest eyes and yes, no one can question that. American television channel E!’s Sexiest Body Parts list crowns Ash as the woman with the sexiest eyes leaving behind Hollywood icons like Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox and Scarlett Johansson. Meanwhile, Irish actor Jonathan Rhys-Myers (of Bend It Like Beckham fame) won best male eyes award.

Other winners includes Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen who won the sexiest legs award, Charlize Theron bags E!’s decolletage award with her sultry shoulders, Eva Mendes voted lovely locks, Taiwanese actress Shu Qi took away sexiest lips title. Scarlett Johansson has been voted the female celebrity with the best breasts. Actress Jessica Biels butt has topped the list of E!’s sexiest bottom and the list goes on.

So, this is another proof to the fact that Aishwarya’s blue eyes have mesmerized not only Bollywood but also Hollywood!

Kareena Kapoor in a recent development declined offer of Gurinder Chadda of casting her against Johnny Depp in a Hollywood Production. Bebo excused the offer terming it as not productive and big in terms of acting roles she has in Bollywood movies.

However, some other sources revealed that it is the date problems that compelled Karenna to drop this idea as she is over consumed in suiting sessions with number of movies, she is doing for Bollywood. The utterly dedicated actor Aamir’s latest upcoming venture Ghajini has prompted him to not only go bald but also working out at the fitness centers to get the six pack abs, in short, doing up Salman Khan’s look!

Ghajini, inspired from the cult English classic, Memento, is a psychological adventure movie. Aamir Khan is in the lead role with Asin (actress from South) and Jiah Khan.

According to the media sources, Ghajini‘s lead role demanded Salman Khan looks and thus the actor could have been a better choice for character.

With lovely wife Kiran Rao was by his side, Aamir honored her invitation and before parting, Aamir gifted Princess Victoria an antique lithograph (sketches of India during the colonial period), while she gifted him a DVD collection of the legendary Ingmar Bergman’s films.
