Now, for the first time the Mother-daughters trio have come together for the cover sotry and page of the magazine ‘Jade’. The issue has Hema talk about issues like how did a South Indian coped in a North dominated film industry, to which Hema said that “There is no north-south divide at all in the film industry. It’s all in the minds of the public.” She also speaks about her first tele-serial called ‘Noopur’, which was launched in the early nineties. Hema also answers questions about ‘What’s missing from today’s actresses, How she would be remembered, What’s her take on today’s Bollywood…’to say the least.

Unlike other Bollywood stars who aim and long for Hollywood projects, but keep Mumbai as their base clinging on to Bollywood films, The 24-year-old Slumdog Millionaire actress, Freida Pinto has moved to New York to concentrate on her Hollywood career. Not that her move has been too hasty or unplanned. The gorgeous actress has already been signed by Woody Allen for his next film where she will star alongside Josh Brolin, Naomi Watts, Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas.

And also, the gal is making her presence felt on the international front dazzling at major events. Recently, she was spotted at the Chanel show in Paris Fashion Week where she outdid her fellow front row occupants supermodels Kate Moss and Claudia Schiffer. She was was the centre of attention in a white draped cocktail dress with a black layered chain detail and black stilettos.

The Mumbai native, had earlier confessed to getting star struck despite now being a celebrity in her own right, with the stupendous success of her debut film which went on to win eight Academy awards.

Adding to yet another feather to her cap, Priyanka Chopra had her foot immortalized at the Ferragamo Museum in Florence! The Museum committed to renowned shoemaker Salvatore Ferragamo – who is well thought-out to be the greatest shoe designers in the world, invited Priyanka to have her foot cast in the Museum!

Maharani Indira Devi of Cooch Behar was the single other Indian lady to have her foot cast in this museum. At this prestigious museum, a few of Hollywood stars, like Drew Barrymore have also been requested to leave their foot impressions. Miss Chopra’s imprint will have the honor of company of the most celebrated Hollywood film stars- Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Loren! That’s sure some star power!

Priyanka was treated with special care on visiting the museum. It was a delightful experience for her that commemorated with a welcome lunch, hosted by the Ferragamo family. After which she headed to explore the Ferragamo Museum and soon it was time for the deal!

As a crucial element of the Ferragamo shoemaking procedure Priyanka’s feet were measured for wooden last. Subsequently, to customize to her taste she discussed with designers to develop a shoe. Lastly, the starlet was en suite for a choice of outfit for her snapshots in Ferragamo’s XV century land.

Priyanka felt truly privileged to be invited, and she expresses “I feel proud and honored to share space with this list of illustrious women. When Leonardo Ferragamo took me on a tour of the Salvatore Ferragamo Shoe Museum, and through the display of the Shoe Lasts’ of these amazing women, it was a special moment for me. I’m touched that the Ferragamo family chose me, after the Maharani of Cooch Behar.”

Commemorating Holi on last Wednesday, lot of Glitzy glamorous arrangements were planned to generate joyfulness and verve in the atmosphere at Country Club’s Spring Club in Kandivali Mumbai. The show Rang Barse included celebrities, DJ compositions and of course multihued gulal. The arrangements for the Holi festival were striking and guests enjoyed to the hilt!

Bollywood hotties present for the revels included Koena Mitra, Geeta Basra, Anjana Sukhani and Nauheed Cyrusi. Although Holi is a festival to get drenched in bright colors; these babes were spotted striving hard to keep their pristine white attires off rainbow colored gulal!

There is no denying the fact that apart from being extremely talented, the elder daughter of Pandit Ravi Shakar, Anoushka Shankar is highly gorgeous and beautiful. So, Anoushka has decided to try her hand at the glamour world of Bollywood and what better way to make her debut opposite the extremely talented Rahul Bose. Yes, Anoushka is working in a film to be directed by a London-based filmmaker Anu Menon which is curiously titled ‘Click & Marry’. The film is apparently about an alliance off the internet where Rahul and Anoushka play a couple who find their combined karma through the internet.

Neither Rahul nor Anoushka is willing to talk about the film. Says Rahul, “It’s too early to say anything about this project. But Anoushka and I know each other well. So doing a film with her would be great fun. As for working with Anu, she seems committed and fun. And I’ve really enjoyed worked with a female director before. So why not this time?”

Payal Rohatgi who shot to fame coming out of blink and miss roles and B-grade films with ‘Big Boss 2’ has done her first ever photoshoot for leading Maxim Magazine in its latest issue. Payal is a computer engineer from L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad. Payal studied in Udgam School., Payal Rohatgi won the title of Miss Tourism World in 2001, against candidates from 65 countries. She was also a finalist at the Femina Miss India contest in 2000.

Maxim: You look smokin’ hot in your first shoot for MAXIM. So is what we see the real you?

Payal: Yes, this is definitely one of the many sides of who I am! Like the different roles that we play, this is one of those days when I decided to share my naughty side with the readers of MAXIM!

The one the most promising newcomer Imran Khan, who has already laureate the much prestigious Best New Actor trophy is all set to gratify himself theatre work. Grabbing much sought after revolutionary role in Eve Ensler’s ‘Vagina Monologues.’ The play is written by Eve Ensler with much controversial title as well as concept is hitting Mumbai and will be directed by Mahabanoo Mody-Kotwal

The reoccurring subject is employing the vagina as a means of feminine empowerment and the ‘Vagina Monologues’ series of monologues are supposedly read by female actors. Imran Khan will interpret the piece, ‘My Short Skirt’ which was also formerly read by Mallika Sherawat. Here Imran will read the piece while a female performer will act it out on stage; while this is the first time in history (the play was first written in 1996) a guy actor will be rendering a monologue.

Enthused by a gal pal who is in the play herself, Sonali Sachdev, to be a part of the play Imran anticipates more men involving in the female oriented play.

Nevertheless, the finest thing about it is the reality that the proceeds will be forwarded to generate wakefulness towards violence aligned with women and helping the victims of hostility.

Shilpa Shetty organized a pre-Holi bash for the Rajasthan Royals Cricket team. Shilpa arrived at the bash dazzling in a golden attire with her boyfriend Raj Kundra and her sister Shamita Shetty. Shamita looked equally gorgeous in a green dress which she wore for the event.

Indian Premiere League’s second season is all set to start next month and Shilpa Shetty is very thrilled as she with her businessman boyfriend bought about 12%  stake in the franchise and is also the face of the team. This is a joint venture of Shetty along with her London-based partner Raj Kundra.

The fine line between the small screen and the big screen seems to be disappearing now with increasing number of television stars steeping into the tinsel town and Bollywood celebrities making constant appearances on the smaller screen.

While it was Prachi Desai last year, it is Aamna Shroff and Rucha Gujarathi this year making their debuts with ‘Aloo Chaat’ and ‘Lottery’ respectively.

Rucha has been seen extensively on television so far with appearances in tele-serials like Kkusum, Bhabhi, Waaris, Waqt Batayega Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya, Shh Phir Koi Hai and the reality dance show Saas V/s Bahu. Moreover not many are aware that Rucha had in fact started her career as a child artiste and did a few movies like Dancer, Sahabzaade, Hum Hain Kamaal Ke, Kanyadaan and Shikari in her initial years of facing the camera. Rucha has also starred in music videos of albums by Gurdas Mann, Pankaj Udhas and Vaishali Samant.

Now finally she has managed to reach the big platform with ‘Lottery’ which also marks the debut of Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant and newcomer Manisha Kelkar. A romantic musical thriller, ‘Lottery’ is special for Abhijeet too since other than being the lead protagonist of the film; he has also lent his vocals to as many as three songs. The rpomos of the film are already on air. Directed by Hemant Prabhu, ‘Lottery’ is set for a March release.

After receiving rave reviews for ‘Fashion’ and ‘Raaz- The Mystery Continues’, Kangana Ranaut is surely on an uphill now. She already has plum roles in Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Kites’ and Samir Karnik’s ‘Roshan’ opposite Bobby Deol. No wonder she is getting lucrative projects offered by ace directors.

She has recently signed up a film with Ajay Devgan as her lead co-star. The film is Milan Luthria’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, which is being produced by Balaji Motion Pictures. The film explores the growth of underworld in the city, in the 70s and the 80s.

Ajay plays a character based on the notorious smuggler Haji Mastaan, who was the then don of the underworld in the city. Kangana is romantically cast opposite him. Besides these two, the film will also star Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai. The shooting is expected to start in May. Most of the film will be shot in the city itself, except for a few sequences which will be shot in Dubai and Bangkok.

Ranbir Kapoor, son of veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, as soon as he stepped into the industry became a hot property and also drew all the public interest because of his open and candid love affair with Deepika Padukone.

And this time, Ranbir is making headlines by his cool new look on GQ magazine’s cover page. The issue has an added point of a free and candid chat with the actor with Ranbir revealing each and everything about himself, from his hidden secrets, habits to his personal life.

He also said, “There was marijuana, there was alcohol, I started smoking cigarettes.”

The actor has not only disclosed his drug-addiction stories, but also told that he must have been around 15 years old when he lost his virginity.
