Madhuri Dixit comeback film ‘Aaja Nach Le’ may not have minted gold at the box office but Madhuri did get rave reviews for her performance in the film. Now, the actress has reportedly given a positive nod to director Prakash Mehra’s next project where she will be seen opposite the current heartthrob of Bolly fans, Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir will be playing a young boy in love with Madhuri, who will play a woman older than him. Madhuri was sent the script by Jha when she was in US and the actress liked the script and agreed to act in the film.
Currently Prakash Jha is busy wrapping up Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif starrer Rajniti, based on the Indian politics.
Hrithik Roshan’s much awaited ‘Kites’ was unveiled at Cannes 2009. The film has Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut as his co-stars. The film has a much talked about lip lock between Hrithik and Barabara. Hrithik says that he was comfortable doing the scene and they did kiss each other in the scene like real lovers.
Hrithik says, “Why are we even talking about kissing? Is that such a big deal? Hasn’t our cinema grown up? Yes, there’re kissing scenes in the film, but nothing to make me squirm. In fact, I’d be more than happy and completely comfortable watching those kissing scenes with my wife, son and parents when the film is released.”
” ‘Kites’ is a love story. It’s about people in love. And what do people in love do to express their mutual feelings? In fact, it was Barbara Mori who made me realise how silly we look on screen while shying away from expressing love naturally.”
“We were both supposed to jump off from a rooftop at an impossible height. Before we did so our director Anurag Basu suggested I kiss Barbara since we were doing something death-defying and dangerous and potentially lethal. I reached out and kissed her on the cheeks.”
“Barbara turned around to ask why I had kissed her on the cheek. ‘Given the same situation with your real-life wife, Suzanne, would you kiss her on the cheek?’ I was floored by her logic.”

Neetu Chandra had, a couple of months back, given a very hot photoshoot for ‘Maxim’. Few days back, the sultry actress was at a hotel I Juhu for a photoshoot for a magazine. However, the photoshoot was reportedly a very steamy one and when the actress, along with a top female model appeared in a bikini, a mob of over 80 people gathered.
Within minutes a crowd began to gather and some guests at the hotel were displeased at the open display of sensuality by Neetu.
Slowly, the crowd became larger and apparently, they started passing lewd comments. As a result, the photoshoot had to be stopped mid-way, but the crowd refused to disperse even after a three hour break and finally, shoot had to be cancelled.
According to a tabloid report, the hotel authorities asked the shooting crew to leave after receiving complaints from guests. But Neetu says the shoot was scrapped because the crowds “were being a nuisance”.

So, during the unveiling of the website of her upcoming movie ‘Pyaar Impossible’, Priyanka was asked to comment on this topic, she was quick to reply that the allegations were completely baseless.
She said, “Kaminey is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj whose directorial credentials don’t need any introduction and it is produced by UTV which is amongst the best production houses in the country today. I have seen the film and I feel it’s a brilliant piece of work. All those who will see the film will definitely love it. We as the team of Kaminey are extremely well equipped and capable of publicizing the film and don’t require any outside help for the same.”
So, this was Priyanka defending Shahid, but when Shahid was asked about his relationship with the gal, he denied any kind of romance and said, “I’m not left with much of a choice, am I? I’m linked to all my co-stars. With Kismat Konnection it was Vidya Balan, now with Kaminey it is Priyanka.’’
“Priyanka and I are good friends. However, people have been jumping the gun. If we take our relationship further, I may talk about it; but people are in a rush to link us together. I will not lie or hide a relationship but I will not stand on the rooftop and announce it either.’’
Priyanka Chopra on Monday launched website of Yash Raj Films’ under floor movie ‘Pyaar Impossible’ at YRF Studios in Mumbai. Uday Chopra is in the main male cast of the movie and is directed by Jugal Hansraj. Movie is expected to be released by end of this year. Dino Morea is another main star of this romantic comedy.
It is after hit ‘Mohabbatein’ in 2000 that both Jugal Hansraj and Uday Chopra are working along in a movie. The website is provided with videos with host star Uday Chopra explaining different sequences of the movie. In a recent video of the movie on the website entire cast of the movie is shown offering puja at the start of the movie. Priyanka denied any comparison of the movie with Hollywood’s ‘Notting Hill’ by saying, “ It’s not at all true because in ‘Notting Hill’, Julia Roberts plays a superstar and the guy is just a normal guy but in ‘Pyaar Impossible’ I do not play a superstar but just a normal girl.”
‘Pyar Impossible’ is the love story between Abhay (Uday) and Alisha (Priyanka).
As on its tour of Macau to finalize venue for International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Amitabh Bachchan announced Macau to be the host of 2009 IIFA Videocon Weekend. The event is scheduled between, June 11th to June 13. Last Year’s event held at Bangkok, however, this year it is fixed at The Venetian (r) Macao- Resort Hotel.
In meantime during his schedule he had some good moments at gondola ride that made him nostalgic of his ride 30 years ago. He said, “After Venice, I have experienced a gondola after thirty years at the Venetian Macau. It was an enchanting experience. I sat on the gondola thirty years back to shoot the song ‘Do Lafzon Ki Hai’ for my film ‘The Great Gambler’.” The song was great hit of its time.
Now, that Sonam Kapoor is the brand ambassador of L’Oreal representing the younger generation, she doesn’t mind taking a pinch at Aishwarya Rai who is again associated with this brand, but for a generation older than Sonam. So, where Sonam is endorsing products that are meant for young people, Aishwarya is endorsing anti-wrinkle and anti-aging products obviously for older ladies.
Sonam took this opportunity to taunt and then again praise Ash at the same time.
Sonam referring to Ash who is about 15 years elder to her said with pride, “I think we belong to two different generations and that’s why L’Oreal has asked me to be a part of their brand.”
However, not intending to take a ‘panga’ with the Bachchan Bahu, she was quick to add, “I am glad to be an ambassador for the brand that Aishwarya is also associated with. I will never reach that level of success at which Aishwarya is today but being part of the same brand family feels great.”
Whistling Woods, Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagri (Film City), saw the music release of the Hindi film ‘Paying Guest’ by producer Subhash Ghai’s MUKTA ARTS & JUNGLEE MUSIC. The music and the launch of soundtrack was unveiled alongwith the starcast of the movie, viz. Shreyas Talpade, Celina Jaitley, Javed Jaffrey, Ashish Chowdhary, Chunky Pandey, among others.
The movie directed by Paritosh Painter talks about four young fun loving guys (Shreyas, Javed, Aashish and Vatsal), who march towards a crazy house hunt, which lands them in a series of ultra comical hurdles in a bid to find that one roof that can tolerate and shelter their combined problem. Shot in the breath-arresting locales of Bangkok, the whole cast had a blast during the shootings. The film has music by Sajid Wajid and lyrics by Jalees Sherwani.
Finally, the lovely and doting Bachchan Bahu, Aishwarya, along with her hubby Abhishek, is all set to move out of their family home ‘Jalsa’ and shift to their newly done house ‘Naivedya’ at Carter Road in Bandra.
Big B, reportedly, is himself taking a keen interest in decking up the new sprawling bungalow which will be under constant camera surveillance. The Bachchans have also appointed 4-5 security guards at the bungalow.
Abhi-Ash are believed to be moving out of their Juhu residence as soon as they wrap up shooting for Mani Ratnam`s forthcoming film ‘Ravan’. Apparently the bungalow is still under construction and the work will be finished by the coming month.
John Abraham has a hot body and the hunk has always flaunted it in movies like ‘Jism’, ‘Dhoom’ and the most recent one, ‘Dostana’. However, the guy says that he must have done so in the movies but as such he is a very shy person by nature.
Abraham was recently in Delhi to take part in a mass-workout event organised by Diet Pepsi and he was utterly embarrassed when some men out there asked him to strip.
The mob was heard screaming, “T-shirt, T-shirt!”. An embarrasses John replied, “See, that (flaunting his body) was in a movie. Otherwise I am very very shy…Well, if I take-off my T-shirt, then what will I wear.”
‘Rang de Basanti’ cutie, Soha Ali Khan ascended at the Priya Chintan store where paintings themed on her latest venture- ‘Film 99’ were displayed. In the movie Soha Ali Khan plays Pooja, a lobby manager of a hotel floor. Two conmen enters her life, played by Kunal Khemu (‘Traffic Signal’ stud) and Cyrus Broacha (Stand-up comedian) and she follows them seeking some excitement.
