She also gave some humorous tips on how to handle stress in life, regardless of whichever profession one comes from. This time she is in news for a super tight lip lock she implanted on the upcoming actor Suraj Pancholi (Aditya Pnacholi’s son) before several celebrities leaving the newbie utterly shocked and embarrassed.
It all happened at a party at Prive in South Mumbai where Riya got so drunk that she couldn’t control herself, got hold of Suraj and before the young actor could realize what is about to happen with him, he found himself under a hot smooch from Riya. Rekha has undergone a strict routine of yoga and aerobics under the tutelage of Rama Bans in the ’80s. The actress, who used to visit a gym in Hotel Sea Rock, now has set up her own gymnasium in her Bandra bunglow. She is also visits a suburban spa in Mumbai regularly for meditation.
The photographer Jagdish Mali who has done this photo shoot swears by this perfect beauty and claims that except some minor touch ups, he has not tampered or altered the photos in any way.
“When we shoot digitally, a little bit of touch-up here and there is necessary. I’ve just made minor changes to the images… haven’t tampered with her figure at all!” Mali told TOI adding, “We know she’s been maintaining herself well. When you’re young at heart, it reflects on your face.”

Bollywood’s cutie Ayesha Takia is now trying her hand at different ventures this time, given that her acting career is not going great guns. She is not only all set to launch her designer label called ‘AYESHA’, she is also setting up her own coffee chain shops across the nation and for this new venture, the actress is spending quite some time traveling and doing all the ground work.
Talking about her new business Ayesha says, “I have decided to open my own chain of coffee shops across the nation. While doing films remains my core passion, I will still love to try out a few new things in life. Opening coffee shops is just one of the ideas that has got me completely absorbed at the moment.”
On the personal front too, Ayesha is having a passionate time with hubby Farhan Azmi. Where Ayesha takes keen interest in Farhan’s hotel business, Azmi, too, stands by her side in her new ventures.
It is time for the foreign beauties to invade Bollywood world this season. After sizzling Barbara Mori making a much hyped debut in Hindi cinema with ‘Kites’, director director Imtiaz Ali is all set to launch a New York based half Pakistani, half Czech supermodel Nargis Fakhri in his upcoming movie Rockstar. Imtiaz already owns the credit of launching Brazilian supermodel Giselle Monteiro in ‘Love Aaj Kal’. Rockstar will see Nargis playing a dancer with Ranbir Kapoor as her male counterpart in the lead. 21-year-old Nargis has already made her fans vow to her beauty and appeal with her sensuous photo shoot in the 2009 Kingfisher Calendar.
Finally, the shooting of much awaited ‘Endhiran’ is complete as stated by the director Shankar in his blog that the shooting was completed on July 7th at Sun Studios with the picturization of final song on the lead pair Rajinikanth and Aishwarya choreographed by Remo.
Writing in his blog Shankar says- “It was a very, very happy moment for everyone. I think this is the first film where I am doing the pumpkin breaking pooja ( Poosanika Udaikiradhu) with the lead stars Rajnikanth & Aishwarya Rai.”
Later, Sun TV big boss Kalanithi Maran threw a big party for the entire Endhiran unit at his house. Shankar writes: “Our producer Mr. Kalanithi Maran gave a big party on July 9th for the crew. In the presence of our honorable Central minister Mr. Dayanidhi Maran, I attended the party along with Rajni sir, DOP Rathnavelu, Resul Pookutty, Editor Antony & my crew. We shared all the interesting stories related to the making of the film with Mr. Maran. It was a memorable day for all of us”.
Not only South superstar Rajinikant but the whole of Endhiran crew came in surprise when Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai touched the top star’s feet to seek his blessing during the last day of the shooting.
Aishwarya attended the party covering herself in a wrap up as she was wearing a gorgeous red Gown for the Last Song shot. It came as an emotional and surprising gesture when Aishwarya touched Superstar Rajnikanth’s’s feet seeking his blessing. She then touched the feet of all other Senior artists & technicians.

Releasing this Friday is debutant director Vikramaditya Motwane’s “Udaan” which revolves around the story of Rohan (Rajat Barmecha), a teenage boy, who returns home after spending loathing eight years in a boarding school. He finds himself suffocating under his authoritarian father who forces him to work in his father’s steel factory and study engineering against his wishes, thus leading to Rohan’s abandoning the house to pursue his dream of becoming a writer.
Co-produced by Anurag Kashyap, Sanjay Singh and UTV Motion Pictures, this small budget drama features many popular TV stars like Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor.
“What ’3 Idiots’ has said, this film will take that forward. The perception of people is changing in society. ‘Udaan’ has a good story to tell,” Kashyap said.
Talking about the film, Motwane says, “a very simple, straightforward film… more than that it’s a very emotional film. It’s about a boy’s journey. The father wants the son to do something and the son wants something different and what happens at the end of the film is the culmination of that relationship.”
“My script was ready in 2003. It took five years to take the picture off the ground. It took so long to get producers, as no one was ready to take the film. It might be because in 2003, multiplexes were not in existence. Today it has become easier…,” he added.
“Udaan” was selected for the Un Certain Regard category at the 63rd Cannes International Film Festival this year.
Sonam Kapoor has all reasons to smile these days. Her last project ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ went down well with her fans and now, she has also received two offers from Hollywood lately. Ben Stiller has expressed his desire to cast Sonam for his next project ‘30 Minutes Or Less’ which is said to be a thirty million dollar film. The movie is to be directed by Reuben Fleischer and stars Jesse Eisenberg and Danny MacBride.
Anil had met Ben Stiller in LA and had showed him the reel of Sonam’s forthcoming venture ‘Aisha’. After Stiller saw the show reel, he sent an e-mail to Anil saying he thought Sonam was ‘fantastic’ and that he wanted to cast her.”
However, Sonam has a packed schedule at present due her commitment to ‘Thank You’ with Akshay Kumar and ‘Mausam’ with Shahid Kapoor and also with her forthcoming ‘Aisha’ promotion.
There has been yet another offer for Miss Kapoor. This time it is from Edoardo Ponti (son of Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti’s) who wants to cast Sonam for his new project called ‘Das’ to be made in India.

With her latest ‘Badmaash Company’ faring well at the box-office and more so, her sexy makeover for the film was praised by all and sundry. Now, the bubbly girl has gone a step ahead by bagging in another important and promising project under the directorial debut venture of Rohit Dhawan produced by Eros. It may be mentioned here that Rohi Dhawan is the son of the renowned director David Dhawan.
This movie titled ‘Desi Boyz’ has John Abraham as the male lead. First, Chitraganda Singh was finalized for the film who was later replaced by the leggy lass Lara Dutta. Now, there has been yet another change in the cast with Anoushka replacing Lara. Lara has apparently denied the film due to date issues. John Abraham and Deepika Padukone playing the lead roles in the film, the cast sure looks impressive and promising.
Abhishek Bachchan is onto some grueling action flicks this season. He is just back from Greece where he had been shooting for Abhinay Deo’s ‘Game’ which has some slick action stunts. He is also doing another action flick Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Se’ which has yet more back-breaking grueling action sequences. Then, he has teamed up with Uday Chopra once again for Dhoom 3.
About his sequel-to-a-sequel Dhoom 3, he says, ‘Dhoom 3 is being scripted. Dhoom is nothing without Uday and my character. We are the backbone of the film.’
Apart from action flicks, Abhishek is also trying his hand at comedies to be directed by Anees Bazmi and Vipul Shah. He has also signed in for ‘Dostana 2’.
‘Initially, I was against doing a sequel to Dostana. I couldn’t see how Tarun Mansukhani could make it funnier. But he said, ‘Let me write the script. You’ll be the first person I’d narrate it to. If you don’t like it, then I’d throw it away.’ Believe me, Dostana 2 would be twice as funny as Dostana,’ says Abhishek.
As for the question of choosing action and comedy as the genres, Abhi says, ‘I’m not a calculating actor. I don’t choose the genres, rather the genres choose me. I follow my heart.’
He adds, ‘I am impatient. I like to do a lot of work. I’m happy with the zest with which I work. If tomorrow I want to do only one film a year, I’ll do that. Right now, I’m enjoying being a prolific actor. How many actors can claim to have done two films as diverse as ‘Paa’ and ‘Raavan’ one after another?’
Manisha Koirala may have disappeared from the silver screen but this Nepali beauty is having a great time with her husband, Nepalese businessman Samrat Dahal in Sievi, Finland where the couple is spending their honeymoon. Manisha had always wanted to go to Europe for her honeymoon and had been quoted saying, “I’ve planned a dream honeymoon for us. I’ve been to the European destinations before as a single woman. This time it’s different.”
Talking about the after marriage feelings, a nostalgic Manisha told, “I feel different now that I’m married. It’s as though I’ve found my bearings in life. There’s a new sense of belonging, as though there’s someone constantly there to support me, to hold me when I fall. I’ve never felt this way before.”
Manisha also expressed her desire to stay in touch with Mumbai even after her marriage but she added that she will do only selected movies and would not be interested in decorative roles.
Ex Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Lara Dutta is creating stirs these days with her recent veggie photo shoot for an ad campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Lara looked deliciously inviting in a spectacular full-length gown made of lettuce leaves and other vegetables, “Going vegetarian is one of the easiest ways to improve our health, help countless animals and protect the Earth,” says Dutta.
The ad has been shot by ace fashion photographer Jatin Kampani and the ad has Lara in a Gavin Miguel designed full-length gown made of lettuce leaves and other vegetables.
With this, Lara too joins the band wagon of sexy veggie Bollywood actresses like Kareena Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat. Recently, Kareena was voted PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian who said, “Being voted the sexy vegetarian is quite fashionable…You don’t need meat to build muscle. Vegetables have a lot of variety for building muscle. It’s cool to be a vegan.”
