The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project was unveiled at the Palladium Mall in Lower Parel, Mumbai and Bollywood beauties Neha Dhupia and Jacqueline Fernandes were present at the event to add to its glamour and heat.
The campaign, called the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project, kicks off this week with TV advertising calling on consumers around the world to visit a Smirnoff Facebook page to submit ideas that sum up the best night out from their country.
This builds towards 14 simultaneous Smirnoff parties in different countries on 27 November. Each country will “export” their party ideas to another country. So Smirnoff’s UK night out could be a Brazilian extravaganza while Australians may experience the best-of-British night out. Other countries taking part include the US, India, Poland, Venezuela, Argentina and Lebanon.
“This is an ambitious undertaking, the likes of which has never been attempted before by the brand,” said Anita Robinson, marketing director for Smirnoff GB.

The tension between Bollywood hottie Neetu Chandra and Paksiatni comedian and actress Veena Malik came to the forefront when Veena allegedly charged Neetu for having intimate direct links with her ex-boyfriend and Pakistani bowler Mohammad Asif as well as with the ‘spot-fixing’ scandal in cricket.
Now, there are chances that the two actresses could come face to face to exchange verbal blows as Neetu Chandra has been approached for the fourth season of ‘Big Boss’. Neetu is said to have been offered an astronomical amount to appear on the show and Veena’s name is already among the list of contestants for the show.
When asked about her appearance in ‘Bigg Boss’, Neetu’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar said, “I have also been hearing the buzz, but am yet to confirm with Neetu. I haven’t spoken to her, as I’m aware that she is in rehearsals today and her phone would be on silent mode. I’m not sure if Neetu would agree to be in ‘Bigg Boss’ even if the monies are huge.”
Dale also feels that Neetu does not need to waste her time and energy on people like Veena to clear off baseless allegations on her regarding the cricket scandal. He said, “Veena Malik is a good comedian. She is a good actress. But I doubt if Neetu Chandra needs a reality show to defend herself. If I know her well, she’d rather keep her grace, poise and dignity intact, than spend her time and energies on Veena Malik’s baseless allegations.”
Whether the allegations are true or not, it is unconfirmed but what is for sue is that if Neetu joins in the Big Boss house, the tension and cat fights between the two ladies are sure to spice up the show
Manyata Dutt is expecting twins in January and a host of Bollywood stars came in to wish the parents-to-be luck and to shower their blessings on the family. Ameesha Patel played the perfect host to Manyata Dutt’s baby shower. This star-studded affair included the likes of Sophie Choudhary, Neha Oberoi, Vidya, Krishika Lulla, Sheeba, Malaika Khan, Shilpa and Raj Kundra, Maana Shetty, and Jaya Prada. The party also saw the re-union of Sanjay and Manyata Dutt with sisters-in-laws Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt who were present at the party.

There is no denying the fact that the success of ‘Dabangg’ has made Salman-Sonakshi the most sought after pair of Bollywood. Even the producer Sajid Nadiadwala was so impressed by their chemistry that he drove down to the Sinhas’ bungalow to sign Sonakshi opposite Salman in the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Kick’ which
will be made under the direction of Shirish Kunder and will go on floors this winter.
Confirming the news, Sajid Nadiadwala says, “It was Salman who was very keen that I sign Sonakshi opposite him in Kick. I became a hundred percent sure of her after I saw her in Dabangg. She and Salman make a great pair.
I am very happy to be working with Shatruji’s daughter. He has worked extensively for my banner. In fact I’ve a picture at home with Shatruji when he was shooting for our banner in Bhai Ho To Aisa. I was 6 at that time.”
Says Sajid emotionally, “This is the first time I’ve gone to someone’s house to sign an actor. Everyone comes to my office. But Sonakshi is Shatrughan Sinhaji’s daughter.”
Shatughan Sinha, too, shares his respect for Sajid saying, “I told Sonakshi that I’ve worked wth Sajid’s grandfather and father. Now it’s her turn to continue the tradition. God willing my sons too will work with Sajid.”
Incidentally this is Sonakshi’s third film with Salman. She is already doing the sequel to Dabangg with the star.

The latest to be impressed by her charms is director Sujoy Ghosh of Jhankaar Beats fame who has reportedly signed the talented actress in the lead role of his next film, which will be a remake of Hollywood flick Kill Bill and Vidya will be enacting the role played by Hollywood actress Uma Thurman in the original flick.
Kill Bill is a revenge drama and it is a golden opportunity for Vidya to display her talents once again in the powerful role of a woman, who is betrayed by the people she trusts and then how she takes revenge from them. Her role also demands some action sequences from her. This will be the first time, Balan, who is known for her soft image on screen, will be seen doing stunts for a role.

The latest issue of ANDpersand has double bonanza for its readers as it lays two Kanganas and two of the Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez each. Kangana Ranaut speaks out her mind to the magazine saying that she has not gone under knife to enhance her assets but does not find anything wrong for the people who do it.
“People have the right to live the way they want. If they want to go under the knife or take extravagant measures to beautify themselves, it’s their choice,” she told ANDpersand. “But as far as I am concerned, I would never go under the knife to beautify myself. I am beautiful,” she says. That she is beautiful, we have no doubts whatsoever.
Revealing more about herself, Ranaut adds, “I started when I was 17 so I feel people know more about me than myself. Well, let’s see…Kangna is like any other regular girl. I like appreciation. I dislike people acting ‘extra’ smart with me. I like spending time with my family. I like cooking and have taken cooking classes.”
Andpersand executive editor Jayita Bandyopadhyay recalls her experience of working with Kangana saying, “Frail and waif-like are the two terms which rushed to my mind when Kangna walked into the studio for the shoot, accompanied by her mother, and of all surprises, her nani. Maybe a reason why she was looking so frail was that she was very unwell. But her mom and nani made sure she avoided cold drinks, even cooler water! While Kangna shot, nani waited patiently, with a pack of chips.”

‘I have experimented a lot with my looks. Now I want to grow my hair and want to look like a girl. Growing hair will surely take some time,’ Mandira while talking to reporters after walking the ramp as a showstopper at the sixth edition of the Seagram’s Blenders Pride Fashion Tour in Kolkata.
Mandira said whenever her husband introduces her to friends ‘he says meet my ‘chota bhai’ (younger brother)’.

Abbas Mastaan’s ‘The Italian Job’ is seeing a shuffle of Bollywood beauties in the lead role. First it was Sonam Kapoor who refused the project due to het commitment to Pankaj Kapoor’s ‘Mausam’. Then Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were considered for the role and lastly, Katrina Kaif was finalized for the role and now, when Kaif has unceremoniously walked out of the project for a Yash Raj project opposite Imran Khan, Sonam is back into the scene.
Sonam in fact said to have been quite excited to do ‘The Italian Job’. However Pankaj Kapur was against her signing any films until his movie is completed. This will be the first time Sonam will act in a Abbas-Mastaan film. The movie also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bobby Deol. Sonam was last seen with Junior Bachchan in ‘Delhi 6’.
Emraan Hashmi is known for his lip locks more than this acting skills and though he did ot go for his trademark kissing scenes in the last flick ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbai’, he is back to what he is best at in his forthcoming film, ‘Crook- Its Good to be Bad’, this time with a step further.

It tells the story about a boy, Emraan Hashmi from India who is crafty, Machiavellian and mutinous. He is involved in the illegal task of piracy in Australia. And while living there he is wooing two ladies at the same time. Speaking about the pre-requisite of kissing sequence he says, “So some amount of intimacy is justified. I’ve done it in my usual uninhibited, unapologetic way. I guess, because of my liberal, somewhat westernized upbringing, I’ve never been leery about kissing”.
The film, slated for an Oct 8 release, is said to be about racial attacks on Indian students in Australia promises ample hot sizzling intimate scenes between Hashmi and the blonde beauty as can be seen through the promos.
Hot and handsome Arjun Rampal has come up with another weapon to woo his female fan following. Joining the band wagon of the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Shilpa Shetty, Rampal too is all set to become one of those actors who have launched their own perfume line.
The perfume to be launched next month is aptly title ‘Alive’ and is an evening perfume exclusively for women designed by a French company. Arjun has quite a reason to be very apprehensive about the success of the brand as he has taken keen and active interest, involvement and participation in the making of the perfume as well as the selection of the fragrance. He met the company’s executives when he was in Europe last month.
If any of the girls are still not convinced, Arjun takes an additional effort by wooing them with his perfectly toned body as he goes bare-chested for the ad shoot of the perfume. What more could you ask for, girls???
Katrina Kaif is already the heartthrob of millions of hearts out there and this time she has gone a step further to ensure that there is not one man left who doesn’t skip his beat as she gyrates on the modern version of the 1991 hit song “Jumma Chumma De De’ that was originally picturized on Big B and Kimi Katkar.
Katrina is doing this item number ‘Sheela Ki Jawani’ for Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and as she plays an item girl in the film and Farah wanted nothing but the best for this dance number. Speaking about this special song, Farah says, “Sheela Ki Jawani is a special item number with a never before seen feel to it. There are six different set-ups in the song and Katrina will be seen in 6 different looks. In the last sequence of the song, I wanted a rustic bar setting where you’ll see Katrina surrounded by men holding beer-mugs and splashing water on her something similar to the famous ‘Jumma Chumma’ song in Hum. Another part of the song is a tribute the musical Chicago. The song itself is a mix of Bhojpuri meets Bob Fosse if you can imagine what I am saying.”
“What I wanted for this song was to keep Katrina’ s look rustic and have a backdrop like that of a Broadway musical. So it’s both raunchy yet classy and believe me, Katrina has never done anything like this before. She has really worked hard to get into shape for this number and the results have to be seen to be believed,” she adds.
