She poses gracefully with her hands positioned magnetically on her slim waist inviting with a slight show of cleavage.

The fundraising fashion show ‘Mijwan’ held at the Trident hotel in Mumbai turned out to be a star-studded affair as 24 Bollywood celebrities, dressed in fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s outfits. The show was organized by Shabana Azmi for the cause of the Mijwan village in UP that her father, Kaifi Azmi, had adopted. The ramp saw many Bollywood biggies grace it some of them being Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Shilpa Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Lara Dutta and Sushmita Sen among others.
“I am thrilled to be associated with the project. The women of the village will now be doing the embroidery for my line for a year,” said Malhotra.
Amitabh Bachchan may have played varied. Diverse and challenging roles in his long career, but the conservative actor has restrained from experimenting with his looks and has maintained a more or less same look with his patent beard and hair with a typical tinge.

Kiran Rao’s film ‘Dhobi Ghat’ entered into controversies when the washermen objected to the title of the film claiming it to be offensive. Aamir Khan had then apologized to them for it and had even offered to change the title of the film. Later the Akhil Bharatiya Dhobi Mahasangh let them keep the title intact because firstly they realized that the film was about the place in Mumbai and did not present the community in a bad way and secondly because they loved Aamir too much to make him suffer any losses.
So, this Republic Day, Aamir Khan was out to win the support of washermen community in Mumbai. He hoisted the Indian National Flag, at the Mahalakshmi Dhobi Ghat, in Mumbai.
The film released in India on the 21st of January 2011 and has not done very well uptil now. Besides Aamir, the film stars Smita Patil and Raj Babbar’s son Prateik Babbar, along with Monica Dogra and Kriti Malhotra.

It was around 7.30 am in the morning when IT officials went in for a raid at Priyanka Chopra’s residence in Versova and Oops!! It was not sexy Priyanka Chopra who greeted them but it was her great friend Shahid Kapoor who opened the door for them in mere shorts looking sleepy and shocked.
The IT officials were equally shocked and for a moment, they thought they had raided the wrong sixth floor apartment in Classic Building on Yari Road but then they realized….
Now, obviously Shahid could not leave immediately. So, he stayed there for sometime and later left the house after getting dressed. It came out later that Shahid had spent the night at Priyanka’s place and she had come from walking the ramp at a fashion show for Shabana Azmi. The two are trying to spend as much time together before PC starts the promotions for her movie Saat Khoon Maaf.
A senior I-T official confirmed that nearly 70 officers drawn from various units raided 12 properties belonging to Chopra and Katrina Kaif yesterday in connection with alleged tax evasion. The officials sealed 12 lockers and verification of documents continued till late in the evening. Officials said many documents were seized from Chopra’s residence, which was created by merging five flats. The residence of Capt Dr Ashok Chopra, the former Miss World’s father, at Lokhandwala was also raided.
“The actresses have done many stage shows abroad. They took more money by cheque to get more exemption and then returned some of it in cash after returning to India. The said money is not reflected in their I-T returns,” said an officer. “The raids are still continuing,” said I-T Director General (investigation) B P Gaur.
All we can now think of is the statement Shahid Kapoor gave on a popular chat show barely a month ago saying, “If I woke up as Priyanka Chopra one day, I would wonder what I was doing in Shahid Kapoor’s bedroom and then walk over to my flat in the next wing.”
The only fifference here is that here Shahid Kapoor wakes up in Priyanka Chopra’s bedroom!!
Bollywood’s most successful actresses earning even more with their mega endorsement deals failed to satisfy the IT department regarding their transparency in tax payments. Taxmen on Monday raided the homes of Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. The moment news spread in respect of IT raids at the Versova and Bandra homes of Priyanka and Katrina respectively, large number of media reached there.
They also searched the premises of Chopra’s father; Matrix, a celeb management company that handles Kaif’s endorsements; photographer Atul Kasbekar, who earlier owned Matrix; and Chand Mishra, and Chopra’s personal assistant. BP Gaur. 12 premises were searched and 12 bank lockers were sealed. Reports also have it that the search at Chopra’s house yielded documents that indicated concealed income.
It may be recalled that Income tax officials raided the houses of actor Surya, Vadivelu, director Ravi Kumar and director AR Murgadoss couple of months ago in Chennai.
Well, we all know that nudity and boldness did not give the push to big mouthed and big busted bombshell Mallika Sherawat’s career. So, the sex kitten is trying other avenues instead. Transported back to Bollywood from Hollywood, Mallika is trying her hand with judging the reality show ‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom 2’. She has also signed up for an item number ‘Razia Gundo Mein Phas Gayee’ in Anees Bazmee’s ‘Thank You’ for free and now, the latest one is that she will be seen all covered up and in a deglamorised avatar in her next, Case No 99 sharing screen space with big names like Nana Patekar and Naseeruddin Shah.
Scripted by Dilip Shukla of Dabangg fame and directed by debutant director Praful Parekh, the film goes on floors in March. Nana Patekar will be seen in the role of a CBI officer in this suspense thriller about an insurance scam of 100 crores.
The producer of the film, C G Patel, confirmed the news saying, “Yes, we have signed Mallika and paid her the signing amount, but some formalities are yet to be finalised. Nana, who is a great friend, is also on board and is keenly supervising the project. We are still in talks with Naseerji.”
Patel also stressed on the fact that Mallika had absolutely no hesitations in signing a role which was in stark contrast to the roles she has played earlier. He said, “In fact she loved the script. She has a very powerful role and strong dialogue with Nana. People will be surprised to see her in the film.”
So, the dare bare act is ‘Hisss-tory’ for Mallika now??
Year 2010 had not been a great year for Bebo with only one mediocre hit ‘Golmaal 3′ and two flops, ‘We Are Family’ and ‘Milenge Milenge’, but with five big projects set to hit the screens this year, 2011 definitely holds lot of promises for Kareena Kapoor. While ‘Ra.One’ with Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest of all, there is also ‘Bodyguard’ with ‘Dabangg’ star Salman Khan. Close to the actress’ heart is ‘Agent Vinod’ with beau Saif Ali Khan and the next is with Imran Khan in ‘Short Term Shaadi’. Kapoor girl is also excited about the psychological thriller with Aamir Khan which is still in a raw state.
“There has been a conscious call to pick different genres from the films that excite me most. Earlier also I have done films like ‘Omkara’ and ‘Chameli’ which weren’t exactly mainstream,” says Kareena.
Kareena Kapoor is also leading the endorsement world with 14 brands under her. She has recently snatched her third international brand right away from Priyanka chopra’s kitty. The brand is looking for iconic, aspirational and youth centric elements, which combine nicely in Kareena personality. A special skilled team is flying down from London to shoot the ad with her.
Pakistani actress Veena Malik set the temperatures in the drawing room high with her skimpy dresses and oh-so-hot intimacy with Ashmit Patel in the latest season of ‘Big Boss’. Since returning from India, Malik has been constantly under fire for allegedly misrepresenting Pakistani women, Islam and Pakistani culture on the show.
She has been vehemently criticized by the orthodox community for vulgarity on the show and Mufti Abdul Kawi went on to snub her as “baigharat” (immoral) on a talk show on television. “You tell me is you conscience clear that you didn”t bring a bad name to Pakistan and Islam and that you behaved inappropriate to our religious and cultural values,” Maulana Qavi asked her on the show.
However, not the one to take down criticisms so easily, Veena Malik took the mullahs to task and even said that if she were in the wrong, so was Abdul Kawi because Islam doesn’t permit a man to cast a second look at a woman who isn’t his relative.
“One can be punished for looking at a woman a second time, you should be punished,” Malik told the Mufti on Express News’ Frontline show.
Malik defines her experience in the show as a “beautiful, terrible, exciting, emotional, sad” journey and said, “I belong to the entertainment industry and I went with my agenda. I wanted to show the world that there are other types of Pakistanis too, not just those who are in the news for terror acts.”
She defended her behavior and clothes saying, “It isn’t a religious show either. The format of the show is to get people from various walks of life under one roof… I was contacted for my bravery. I wasn’t even representing office-going women of Pakistan. I was a Pakistani from the entertainment industry. I wore only clothes that I have worn in Pakistan before. I was representing myself… and I am like this only.”
Malik said the Pakistani media had been unfair to her by not highlighting the positives such as when she was complimented by Salman Khan and not coming to her rescue when she was abused on Bigg Boss. However, Veena received widespread support from Pakistani liberals and civil society activists on social networking websites like Twitter and others.
