The influx of foreign beauties into Bollywood continues with a greater fervor than ever as the popularity of item numbers reaches greater heights- all thanks to the glam quotient imparted by Munni and Sheila last year. So, this year we have Jennifer Lopez’s cousin sister Caterina Lopez, making her Bollywood debut with a raunchy item song in director Ankush Bhatt’s film Bhindi Bazaar Inc.
Talking about her experience in Bollywood, Caterina says, “It was not easy learning the whole Bollywood style of dancing because it’s very different. It’s a different ball game altogether. Learning the song was also very tough but once I got a hang of it, it became better. Honestly I think I did a good job.”
Caterina is alien to the language here but no where in the song has she missed the lip sync. She hopes for a career in Bollywood and is planning to learn Hindi soon.
“I’m still struggling with the language. Here and there I’ve learned a few words, but I’m definitely planning to get a teacher and learn Hindi completely,” she added.
The song has Caterina draped in a sexy sari and a skimpy blouse. Caterina has SRK as her favorite actor and she candidly confesses that she has once had a crush on him but the gal choses to stay mum on her relationship with Jlo.

Gossip columns went abuzz when Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre was caught pantyless at Karan Johar’s party in Mumbai which had been hosted by the director to celebrate the many awards his movie My name is Khan won at the Filmfaire awards 2011 last week.
Sonali was caught in the act when she arrived to the party along with Aishwarya Rai wearing a black mini dress and when the photographers, who took pictures and videos of her, questioned on her slimy fashion faux pas, the actress indifferently said, “I am happy that you saw it.”
However, Sonali has vehemently opposed the reports and has issued an official statement in this regard. The statement, sent by her publicist reads, “There have been malicious reports circulating online about a wardrobe malfunction concerning our client Ms.Sonali Bendre. On behalf of Sonali, we would like to clarify, that there is no truth to the story which has left both Sonali Bendre and her family highly grieved and disturbed.”
The statement also denies her quote mentioned in the report. “The story also carries a quote attributed to Sonali which is utterly ridiculous. Our client belongs to a respectable family, is a mother and has always shared a very warm and cordial relationship with the media.”
It further mentions that legal action will be taken against those who have publicized the story. “We would like to elucidate to all concerned that the story is fabricated by vested interests that aim to damage her reputation and hence request you to not credit it or encourage it. More importantly other sources further publicizing this malicious story, will face a legal notice.”
Well, we hope that the statement clears all the airs about the supposedly sleazy act done by a respectable married actress…..

We know by now that Shirish Kunder’s next production ‘Joker’ stars Akshay Kumar with Sonakshi Sinha in the lead pair. The latest addition to this news is that the second lead of the film has been finalized with sexy Minissha Lamba opposite Shreyas Talpade. in ‘Joker’. ‘Joker’ will be Shirish Kunder’s second directorial venture after ‘Jaan-E-Mann’ which starred Salman and Akshay Kumar.
The news was confirmed when Minissha tweeted on her account saying, “Gonna start filming a new movie soon… Shirish Kunder’s Joker. It’s a blessing to work with people whose work one has admired.”
Meanwhile, Minissha’s and Hollywood actor Tara Reid’s names were used by four Indians who designed the promotional material for the housing project by Santorini Development, which claimed that they had bought homes in the project.
But Minissha said she had nothing to do with it.
“I have no clue how something like this has happened. Forget about buying property in Dubai, I have not even entertained the notion yet. It is a sad state of affairs when people are duped out of their hard-earned money like this,” she said.

Be it the sexy biker John Abraham in ‘Dhoom’ or the mesmerizing eyed thief Hrihtik Roshan in ‘Dhoom2’, the villains have always over powered the good guys Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) and Ali (Uday Chopra). So, what could be better choice for Yash Raj Films’ to have Aamir Khan as the villain in their ‘Dhoom 3’?
Yes, it is official now that perfectionist Khan is donning the cap of the bad guy for Aditya Chopra in ‘Dhoom 3’. Confirming the news, Aamir said, “I have recently signed Dhoom 3. I liked the script very much. When I had watched Dhoom, I liked it a lot. I enjoyed the music and the whole attitude. It’s a very fun film. I really liked it. I never thought I would fit in this kind of film.”
“When I heard the story from Victor, I really enjoyed it. Very well-written script, very enjoyable. It’s a great franchise and I am happy to be part of it. I am also looking forward to work with Abhishek and Uday,” Aamir said adding, “It’s true that for the first time I’m doing a negative role, an anti-hero in the mainstream film. I liked my role and all the characters are very well-written. Actually, in between I did another negative role in an offbeat film 1947 Earth.”
This would be the star’s third Yash Raj film after Parampara and Fanaa. The actress opposite the star is yet to be finalized.
Yash Chopra, too, expressed his joy in having Aamir on board. He said, “It’s a great pleasure to have Aamir working with our banner. I am terribly excited with what an actor like Aamir can bring to the Dhoom franchise with his unique star power and level of performance. Adi and Victor have worked over a year to bring out, what I can now confidently say, is possibly one of the best scripts coming out of our production house.”

Well, Sonakshi Sinha did set up a new definition for Indian beauty with her full figure which was a far cry from size-zero hype in her debut ‘Dabangg’, but the actress will now have to work hard to shed those chubby kilos for her forthcoming projects.
Given the fact that Sonakshi has been chosen to be a part of the sequel of the gihly glamorous ‘Race’, the girl has but no other option to get into shape.
“Bipasha Basu was presented in a very striking way in Race. We’ve to make sure Sonakshi is equally presented in the sequel, “says producer Ramesh Taurani.
Sonakshi, on her part, is serious about getting in shape and says, “First, I had to lose weight for my debut in Dabangg. Now I’ve to get into even better shape for ‘Joker’ and ‘Race 2′. For the last two years that’s all I seem to be doing. Losing weight. But I am fine with that. Because it’s important for me to look good.”
Sonakshi has also expressed her desire to do a dance number in the film. The girl did not get an opportunity to show her dancing skills in ‘Dabangg’ and her forthcoming ‘Joker’ with Farah Khan also has no scope for any dance number with Sonakshi. No wonder the girl is pinning all her hopes on ‘Race 2’.
“Yes,” Sonakshi says excitedly, “It’s a very guns-and-gadgets subject. And I’m looking forward to doing my own dancing.”

Tena Dease is making her Indian film debut alongside one of Bollywood’s greats, Anupam Kher, in the film Yeh Faasle. The movie deals with her character’s relationship with her father, whom she has adored all her life, on discovering his dark secret and his hidden propensity for violence.
This Bangalore born model turned actor, who has been the face of more than 90 commercials, will be seen romancing Dev Patel in John Madden’s ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’. The all-star cast includes Judi Dench, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith.
Praising her co-star, Tena says, “Dev is a very good actor; he’s very versatile and energetic. He’s lots of fun too; his humor makes him very endearing.”
“Hollywood was terrific, their culture is so different. I learnt about their ways and taught them mine. We shot during Diwali, so I gave them recipes for authentic festival food. We all had a wonderful time,” says Tena recalling her experience for the shoot.
It was the superstar SRK who inspired the beautiful girl to pursue her career in acting. “After watching a Shah Rukh Khan film, I cried like never before. It was then I realized that I was made for the screen,” says Tena.

Well, when Mallika Sherawat went bold with her 17 kisses in ‘Khwahish’, there was buzz everywhere. However, her record for 17 kisses has been broken by Aditi Rao in ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’. Again, when Sherawat gave super hot steamy scenes in ‘Murder’, critics went berserk with the hotness quotient. Now, once again Mallika seems to be falling back as reports have it that Jacqueline Fernandez shedding more clothes than ever before in ‘Murder 2’ is all set to take sensuality to newer levels.
‘Murder 2’ has the Sri Lankan beauty play a centre spread model for a Playboy-ish men’s magazine. Not to mention here that the role demand that the actress shed her inhibitions and clothes too.
Director Mohit Suri, too, admits that hot scenes would be a part of ‘Murder 2’. “Murder was five years ago. Back then adultery and a wife stealing away to meet her lover was a big thing.
People were turned on by Emraan’s 17-18 smooches and Mallika Sherawat’s bare back. Times have changed. It takes a lot to shock and titillate the audience. And we’re doing just that,” he said.
Jacqueline, on her part, is all too willing to transform into a sex diva from her earlier good girl image. She said, ‘My earlier films were for small boys. I want Murder 2 to be for the big boys’.
Revealing more about the film, Suri says, “It’s a thriller exploring the world of prostitutes, transvestites, pimps and gigolos. It is not a film for the young. Jacqueline will be going far ahead of anything seen so far in terms of the erotic content.
Though Murder 2 is a sequel to Murder it has no connection with the earlier film. I’ve taken up the challenge of carrying a franchise from Bhatt Saab’s Vishesh Films forward. I made Raaz 2, remember?”

The pretty actress stayed in a Delhi University hostel to prepare for her role in this romantic comedy where she stars opposite Madhavan. The producers arranged for her stay and took the required measures to protect her identity.

A lot has been said and portrayed in Bollywood cinema on the subjects revolving around the strained relationship of India and Pakistan. Now, the latest project from the Oscar-winning Hollywood director Julian Schnabel, ‘Miral’ starring Freida Pinto could act as yet another effort to ease up the tension between two nations. With reference to the strife between Israel and Palestine, the film maker stresses on the fact how the two countries can move forward and leave their history of war behind. With Freida being the face of India in the west, she could well be the voice of the youth over the Indo-Pak issue.
The storyline of the film tells about a naïve Palestinian teen who gradually awakens to her people’s plight after being raised in an orphanage opened to care for children rendered homeless following the partitioning of Palestine in 1948. Shortly after the state of Israel was created, Hind Husseini (Hiam Abbass) was on her way to work when she noticed more than 50 Palestinian children wandering aimlessly through the streets. Husseini takes in nearly 2,000 orphaned children, and creates the Dar Al-Tifel Institute, which operates under the philosophy that peace can only be achieved through education. Enter seven-year-old Miral (Freida Pinto), who was sent by her father to live in the Dar Al-Tifel Institute following her mother’s death in 1978. Far too young to comprehend the ongoing struggle between the Jews and Palestinians at the time she entered the institute, Miral remained blissfully ignorant of the conflict taking place just outside her walls until she accepted a teacher’s position at a refugee camp at the age of 17. As the reality of the ongoing conflict comes into focus for Miral, she enters into a romance with Hani (Omar Metwally), an outspoken political activist intent on taking back Palestine by force. Seduced by Hani’s passion yet uncertain that violence is the answer, Miral begins to weigh the benefits of direct action against the more peaceful and deliberate approach to independence favored by her longtime mentor.
