Bipasha Basu is making stirs with her perfect bikini figure which she flaunts uninhibitedly in her forthcoming ‘Players’. The look has won her a lot of accolades and Bips feels that she is worth it as she has worked hard to get that toned look. Bips, under the instructions of Paul Britto, followed a strict exercise plan that comprised of functional training with an abs routine, kick-boxing, cardio, stretching and normal weight training. She also kept her sweet tooth in check and refrained from sweets.

She warns all the girls aspiring for a body like Bipasha that wearing a bikini is not very easy. As such, she is all geared up to release her second fitness DVD, titled Beach Body workout.

The actress says, “We have a strong bikini culture but the girls find it hard to pull off the look, as it is tough to wear a bikini, swimsuit is easy though. The DVD is going to give the girls who are already lean, an idea how to go about their lower body.”

The scene is from ‘Don 2’ and this enthralling car chase sequence scene apparently used up some 67 cars which had been specially shipped from Korea and shut down some important streets in Berlin for three weeks.

It may be mentioned here that Berlin did offer special favors for this SRK-Priyanka Chopra starrer as the Brandenburgh Gate which houses the United States and Russian Consulates was specially blocked for the climax shots of the car chase. Berlin Government made arrangements for provision of alternate routes and diversions to make up for the blocks ways. However, earlier many Hollywood films have been denied the privilege to do the same at this spot.

She is currently busy shooting for her superhero flick Krissh 2 and will soon start the shooting for her two other films Ishqiya sequel and Tanu Weds Manu sequel.

For Krissh 2, Kangana has not only worked out to lose those extra pounds but has also learnt a lot of action and kick-boxing for the film. For her next movie, Tanu weds Manu sequel, the actress will learn the dialects of Uttar Pradesh.

Well, in a recent interview, Sonam Kapoor had revealed that she did not have a perfect body and needed to tone up. “I have the body of a normal girl but I don’t have ripped abs. I have a little bit of paunch, little extra flesh on my arms and legs,” said Sonam.

Well, what seemed as a publicity gimmick really turned out to be a publicity gimmick. Veena Malik, after creating stirs with her nude photo shoot for FHM, created yet ripples yet again by going missing post her shoot for the film Mumbai 135 Kms in Goregaon. The actress shot from 6pm on Thursday night to 5.30 am on Friday morning but left before completing the shoot and without informing anyone. Even her phone was unreachable since.

Now the Pakistani actress has been traced at Oakwood hotel in Juhu. “Veena Malik is in Oakwood hotel. She has registered in the hotel by her real name Zahida and she has all the papers. She was unwell for a couple of days,” Machendra Bodke of Juhu police station told media persons.

Veena explained that she had been unable to concentrate on her work due to “personal reasons”. Next, Veena will be seen on the smaller screen for the show ‘Veena Ka Vivaah’ where she will choose her groom from a group of contestants.

This Sunday, Star India launched its new channel Life OK with Madhuri Dixit being the guide for the viewers about the stories on the channel and its link to the channels philosophy. It is the first project Madhuri has undertaken after returning to India from the US in October, with her two sons and husband Dr S. Nene.

“Life OK is a unique name which is in itself a statement of its philosophy, compelling content that flows from that philosophy and an unprecedented focus to cater to the viewer’s needs,” Star India CEO Uday Shankar elaborated on the philosophy of the channel.

“We found that viewers wanted better value for their time. Hence the stories on Life OK will be told seven days a week and will feature three stories every hour. People often said that they did not understand why we were doing a certain story and hence Madhuri Dixit will be the ‘sutradhar’ – a completely novel introduction on Life OK,” Shankar added.

Shankar promised that the channel would have the shortest ad breaks compared to any other channel in the country. The highlight of the channel would be “Sach Ka Saamna”, hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal.

After ‘Ra.One’, Shahrukh Khan-starrer ‘Don 2: The King is Back’ is also being launched as a video game with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment joining hands with Ganeshshastra and Mango games, two leading gaming companies in India.

“I feel gaming is a good platform to tell stories of a film and about the characters through this medium. Today, gaming is a biggest platform. They make games according to films. I hope more and more films make use of this growing platform,” Shahrukh Khan said.

Ganeshshastra has developed a game where players can get to play Shahrukh’s character and do action sequences similar to those enacted in the film. The game will be launched in March next year. The other game, developed by Mango Games, will be launched on Facebook on December 23, the day the film releases in cinema houses.

Action seems to be the call of the mass these days as all the big stars with the likes of Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and John Abraham have been doing action flicks these days. However, Khiladi Kumar maintains that he is not competing with any of the contemporaries.

“I don’t think there is any fight for being an action hero. We are not like horses in a race course to contend for it. There are over 150 films made every year and every actor has three-four films every year. I feel there are sufficient amount of films releasing of every actor… so there’s no need to fight for any title,” Akshay Kumar said.

Akshay Kumar is the brand ambassador of Viacom 18′s new channel SONIC nickelodeon and at its launch, he displayed some daring stunts. When asked about how he prepares for stunts, Akshay said: “Before doing stunts I say Gayatri Mantra.”

Nathalia Pinheiro is the winner of the Kingfisher Calendar Girl 2012. Nathalia is 21 year old now and started modelling at the young age of 14. She won the coveted title after defeating 15 models from across the country. Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Pinheiro is also a trained opera singer.

Nathalia relates her experience calling it an enthralling one and says, “I loved the entire experience of the talent hunt. Though the competition was a bit tough this time, I made a few friends during the journey. Also, the platform made me a strong individual.”

Bollywood could be Nathalia’s next target now as the staying has been staying in Mumbai for past six months now and already call the vibrant city her next home.
