Shahrukh Khan is known to be very protective of his female co-stars and he displayed this attitude of his when he came to Katrina Kaif’s rescue at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport. Both the stars were in London for the shooting of Yash Chopra’s untitled film. After the 35-day schedule, arrived at the airport in the middle of the night but their mere few minutes’ presence created a mini frenzy at the airport.

Katrina upon her arrival decided to walk straight to her car whereas Shahrukh chose to speak to media about shooting and his blockbuster film RaOne’s animator Charu Khandal.

When the crowd pressed too close to Katrina Kaif, SRK quickly came forward and shielded her from the crowd, physically keeping people away from her. He kept his arms around the actress and escorted her till her car.

It may be mentioned here that SRK and Salman Khan are not on very good terms and as Salman’s girlfriend, Katrina had always avoided working with SRK. Now, they are working together under Yash Raj banner and initially, there were rumours in the media that the SRK-Kat starrer film will be named London Ishq but Shahrukh has denied any such claims.

It was a memorable night for actress Kareena Kapoor at the unveiling of UTV Stars’ ‘Walk of the Stars.’ She unveiled the brass statue of her late grandfather Raj Kapoor and recollected the memories of the time spent with him.

After unveiling the statue, she said, “I am short of words; what more would I ask for. My father and my grandfather have made me who I am. Which girl has got this opportunity, guys?”

“Kapoors have acting in their veins and blood. I am looking forward to walk down memory lane. What better gift than this to the 100 years of Indian cinema,” she added.

Kareena Kapoor went ahead to sit on the lap of the brass statue of Raj Kapoor she unveiled, and added with a dash of humor, “This is the only lap that Saif would allow me to sit on.”

Imran Zahid is making his debut with Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’ in the lead role. “I play a narcotics detective in ‘Jism 2′. I am looking forward to starting work on it. There’s excitement and nervousness,” an elated Imran said adding, “As a youngster, I watched (Mahesh) Bhatt saab’s films. I am a small town boy. I am from Bokaro. For me, it’s a big thing to work with someone like him and Pooja, whose ‘Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin’ I watched as a youngster.”

“Jism 2″ is being produced by Pooja Bhatt’s Fish Eye Network and is in news for featuring Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone. Sunny just posted a look of hers in the film. The pic shows her in a lean avatar with high cheek bones in a black outfit which gives a hint of her cleavage.

While releasing her look from the film, Sunny tweets, “hehe just shot this picture and its one of the looks for @jism2 . hope i dont get in trouble for showing you this to you!! Hehhe”

Sri Lankan beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez, who is currently awaiting the fate of her forthcoming ‘Housefull 2’, has her eyes set on further horizons. If things go fine, the sizzling beauty will be seen in a Hollywood flick, ‘Definition of Fear’. The flick will be a Canadian-British venture and will mark the directorial debut of producer James Simpson.

Confirming the rumors, Jacqueline told in an interview, “I have been approached for that. Talks are on, nothing has been finalized yet.”

At present, Jacqueline is keeping her fingers crossed for the success of Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull 2? which has a host of stars including Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Asin, Zarine Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Boman Irani.

With Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Agent Vinod’ riding high at box office, Bebo has reasons to celebrate. The gorgeous actress has other reasons to smile too. The Kapoor family will be felicitated with tiles and two statues at the inauguration of UTV Stars’ property ‘Walk of the Stars’ at the Bandra Bandstand Promenade here Wednesday. The property, akin to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, will be launched in the company of Kareena Kapoor and her ‘Heroine’ director, Madhur Bhandarkar.

To begin with, tiles dedicated to Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu, Karisma Kapoor and Kareena were installed.

Meanwhile, as ‘Agent Vinod’ is already in its first week now, Saifeena is still not ready to announce their marriage date yet. “We haven’t really had the time to chalk out anything, not that it’s not on our minds,” says Kareena.

So, it did not come as a surprise when Abhinav Kashyap (Dabangg fame) chose him as the central character for his next project. This will be Abhinav’s second directorial venture which will be based in Mumbai and Ranbir will be seen as a street smart tapori with a pure tapori accent. Abhinav Kashyap himself will co-produce this film with Viacom 18.

With this project in his hand, Ranbir gets the honor of being the only actor in Bollywood to be under the hands of both Kashyap brothers. He is working with elder brother Anurag Kashyap’s period film Bombay Velvet.

Currently, Ranbir is busy with his role of a deaf and mute character in Anurag Basu’s Barfee and a romantic role in Ayaan Mukherjee’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

Sanjay Gupta is busy these days with his next project ‘Shootout at Wadala’ which happens to be a sequel to ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’. The movie is based on the real life encounter at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Sangam Nagar, Wadala, Mumbai on November 1, 1982. In this encounter the Mumbai polcie shot dead the infamous gangster, Manya Surve. Slated for a 7 December, 2012, release, the movie stars Anil Kapoor as ACP Isague Bagwan, John Abraham as Manya Surve, Kangna Ranaut as Vidya Joshi, Sonu Sood as Dawood Ibrahim, Manoj Bajpai as Sabir Ibrahim, Tusshar Kapoor as Sheik Munir, Ronit Roy as Inspector Raja Tambat and Mahesh Manjrekar as Inspector Shinde. Rakhi Sawant, the actress known for her big assets and a bigger mouth, has once again proved that she knows no restraints when it comes to opening her mouth. After giving free advices to Rahul Gandhi and Baba Ramdev, the girl now turns to Kareena Kapoor to advise her about whom she should marry and why she should do item numbers.

At the Radio Mirchi Awards 2012, Rakhi said: “I love Kareena and I am really happy that Kareena will get readymade kids. No, Kareena! You deserve a better husband! You deserve Shahid Khan.” She was then corrected by the reporters that he is Shahid Kapoor.

Rakhi said: “Khan, Kapoor, they’re the same na… I am saying it from the very first day that Shahid Kapoor is the best! He is a bachelor and she (Kareena) is a spinster! You know, I like Saif, but his kids are so old!”

Rakhi Sawant even had an opinion about Kareena not signing for item number. “I didn’t like the fact that Kareena said that she doesn’t like the tag of an item girl; then why did she do an item number.

She’s my favourite actress, I love her! But why doesn’t she like being called an item girl? Even Aishwarya Rai, who is the best actress ever in Bollywood, has done item numbers, even Katrina is doing them, so she (Kareena) should understand,” she said.

This was not all for Rakhi Sawant at the award function. She even had a war of eyes with Mika Singh. When Mika walked the red carpet and spotted Rakhi talking to the media persons, he went ahead and joined Rakhi Sawant to pose for the photos. Initially, Rakhi did not object, but when Mika tried to get too close to her and even touched her, Rakhi cast a glaring glance at him. Thereafter, Mika kept himself in check.

Well, it is high time, Rakhi paid more attention to her sinking career than her publicity gimmicks!!

Madhur Bhandarkar is known for making realistic films. After Aishwarya Rai left his project ‘Heroine’ with a doomed fate, Bhandarkar roped in Kareena Kapoor and continued with the project with added zeal. He has already made up his mind for his next venture which would be a a political thriller, based upon the politics in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Madhur is in talks with UTV Motion Pictures and Eros International for his project and both the corporate houses have shown a lot of interest in it.

As for the leading lady, Madhur is in two minds whether to rope in Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra to play the politician’s role. The role is that of a woman who hails from northern India as a vulnerable lady who gradually transforms into a bold and conniving woman who fits well in the political world.

Though Vidya Balan would suit the role of the mature politician and her acting skills would also do justice to this challenging role, Bhandarkar also has a bent for Priyanka Chopra owing to the professional rapport he developed with her during the shoot of ‘Fashion’.

Meanwhile the Bombay High Court has rejected Madhur’s application to stay the process against him in the Pretti Jaiin rape case. Madhur says, “I have full faith in the Indian judiciary and our legal system.

Honorable Justice RC Chavan of The Bombay High Court has directed that the case will now continue in the lower court. And we respect the Court’s stance.”

Celina Jaitley, who had announced her marriage to the Dubai based businessman Peter Haag, is finally a proud mother of two sweet sons. The actress gave birth to twins on Saturday and their names have also been finalized. The two tied the knots in July 2011, at a thousand-year-old monastery in Austria.

An all elated Haag tweeted on his social networking site: “I am so happy to inform you that Celina and myself have been blessed happy healthy twin boys, Winston and Viraaj. I am over the moon!”

In a press note, Haag added: “Yes our angels from heaven are here and we are very happy. Celina and the boys are doing very well healthwise too. We just want everyone to bless our handsome boys.”

However, Celina has not bid goodbye to the industry. She will next be seen in the movie, “Will You Marry Me?”

Prakash Jha had cast Katrina Kaif in a de-glam avatar in ‘Rajneeti’ and must say that Kaif did justice to her role. Once again, Prakash Jha has roped in Kaif for yet another de-glam role in his next project ‘Satyagrah’ which is based on the subject of anti-corruption. Reports have it that the film draws certain inspiration to the Anna Hazare episode.

The film has Akshay Kumar in the main lead who also happens to be its producer. Rumors are rife that Madhuri Dixit is also doing a role in the film. If everything works out fine, this will be the fifth film that Akshay and Katrina would be doing together after Tees Maar Khan, Singh Is King, Namaste London, and Humko Deewana Kar Gaye in the past.

Bollywood’s reigning Glam Diva, Priyanka Chopra, clearly justified the title as she looked utterly glamorous and beautiful at the launch of Nikon 1 V1 and J1cameras in Mumbai.

Priyanka left for the event in a huff as she tweeted on her social networking site, “On my way to the Nikon press conference..launching very cool cameras! But super late!! Eeep! Outfit crisis and then traffic!! Need a chopper.”

However, her graceful presence did not give a hint of any mess. She looked as ravishing as ever in a white outfit at the launch and said: “First of all, we are launching two of them (cameras): one is the J1 and the other one is the V1. The coolest aspect of both the cameras is that it’s actually a professional camera almost turned into a compact and stylish camera that you can carry… You can change lenses on it and it also has the coolest feature as per me: motion snapshot.”
