For reasons still unknown, Salman Khan is out of the sequel to his 1997 superhit comedy ‘Judwaa’ and replacing him, Saif Ali Khan has stepped in as a part of ‘Judwaa 2’. The original one was directed by the king of comedies, David Dhawan and the sequel will be made under the direction of equally talented Sajid Khan.

Time and again, Saif Ali Khan has expressed his desire to work in a comedy and had also once approached director Sajid Khan to direct films for his production house. The offer, however, could not materialize.

Nevertheless, now Saif is a part of ‘Judwaa 2’ which will soon go on floors and is expected for an early 2013 release. Currently, Saif Ali Khan is shooting with Deepika Padukone and newbie Diana Penty, for Cocktail.
