Rani Mukerji features on the cover of L’Officiel Magazine’s India edition for the month of July 2010 in a strap less golden color gown. She represents vintage glamour in Dolce and Gabbana. The cover says ultimate watch issue but the watch she is wearing (the same one which she wore at peepli live music launch) seems out of place. The glove and fascinator are a great addition, but Rani’s make-up doesn’t seem to match up to the Vintage Glamour theme.
Just to put in, Rani has again changed the spelling of her surname, though I doubt it will help in any way her sinking career and the toll bell signaling retirement. I am not a big fan of Miss Mukherjee, but thought I could post this for all the fans of this Bong Beauty. Like it, pals?? Let us know…..

Bollywood Actress Rani Mukherjee could not re-weave her magic with her much-hyped ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ and now is currently busy with for ‘No One Killed Jessica’ with co-star Vidya Balan. The costumes for both of them have been designed by ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee who had earlier done it for Vidya Balan in ‘Paa’.
Talking about his styling for the film, Rani said, “The look he’s given me is far removed from his signature touch.”
Mukherjee has finally launched his flagship store Sabyasachi at Kala Ghoda in South Mumbai on Wednesday evening and Rani Mukherji made a rare public appearance at the store launch. She charmed in wearing an olive green drop waist silk jumpsuit with spaghetti straps, gathered sweetheart neckline and folded cuffs. She accessorized with slim tan leather belt and matching tough sandals. Her waist length lustrous hair done in waves, lips done in pink, eyes with smoky effect and French nails complimented her style and looks.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has long time back announced his plans to make a film titled ‘Heera Mandi’, apparently based on the famous red light area in the walled city of Lahore. However, he had later shelved the idea, but the grapevine has it that Bhansali has now decided to start this project soon and the lead roles in the movie will be played by the cream of Bollywood- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Preity Zinta and Kareena Kapoor. Sanjay had initially wanted Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukherjee and Sonam Kapoor for lead roles.
Sanjay will start working on the film as soon as he wraps up with his ambitious project ‘Guzaarish’ starring Hrithik and Aishwarya. With three beautiful and very talented actresses sharing the screen space, the project definitely seems to be a promising one!!!
‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ is a psychological thriller revolving around four main characters- Karthik Narayan (Farhan Akhtar), Shonali Mukherjee (Deepika Padukone), Mr. Kamath (Ram Kapoor) and Mrs. Kapadia (Shefali Shah). The music is given by the trio Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa and the flick has given a completely new look for Deepika. The first look of the movie is out. Have a look at it!!

There was a time when Rani Mukherjee was the reigning queen of Bollywood and any award function was incomplete without she bagging an award, but the scene is a bit different now and she has been missing critical acclaim for her performance since a long time. Even, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ could not do any magic to revive her sinking career. Nevertheless, she has bagged in the V Shantaram awards for best actress for ‘Dil Bole Haddipa’. Rani Mukherji said “Dil Bole Haddipa” was close to her heart because she had worked hard portraying a cricket crazy sikh boy and also learnt the sport. Check out Rani Mukherjee at the event.

Even a toned down body and her bikini show could not do wonders for Rani Mukherjee’s career which is undoubtedly on a downhill now. So, the gal has turned to the smaller screen as the judge of the reality show, Dance Premier League (DPL).
She will supposedly be the second judge apart from dance guru Shiamak Davar. Rani is elated to be a part of this mega show which goes on air from 9th October

While Salman Khan will be seen rooting for the North zone, Bipasha Basu for East and Arshad Warsi for South. Its being said that Bollywood baadshah Shah Rukh Khan and actress Kajol have been approached for the NRI zone along with Katrina Kaif.
The production house is also in talks with Preity Zinta and Kareena Kapoor for Central and West zones respectively.
Rani has got this opportunity after Madhuri and Aishwarya backed out. “Madhuri has ditched the channel and production house as she could not find a nanny to look after her kids. There were talks with Katrina Kaif too but things seem to be bit difficult there, thus now they have approached to Rani Mukherjee for the same,” says the source from the production house.

The Bong beauties of Bollywood, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee, celebrated Durga Puja at Balkanji Bari in Santa Cruz West on Thursday. The Puja was organized by the North Bombay Sarbhajanin Durga Puja Charitable Trust and the set was designed by Amit Pal and was graced by a 13-feet tall Durga idol.
The celebrations also included the veteran actress Moushumi Chatterjee who said, “This isn’t just a Mukherjee’s puja for celebrities. It’s for the working class. We do our utmost to bring all communities together. I request the new generation to be humble and inclusive of all.”
Debu Mukherjee, secretary of the trust added, “This puja is a gharelu (domestic) puja. Kajol and Rani grew up here. So we don’t think they are celebrities. It’s like a house party for them.”

Salman Khan is one actor in Bollywood who is known to have more enemies than friends. His list of foes is a long one including big stars like SRK and Salman Khan. Sallu Bhai also shares cold vibes with Shahid Kapoor which has its roots to their fights during the Rockstar tour a few years back.
Salman is not the one to bury the hatchets easily. So, when Shahid and Rani Mukherjee appeared on his show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ to promote their upcoming film, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, Salman was seen being dry and indifferent to Shahid.
Salman was very warm and comfortable with Rani Mukherjee and kept on hugging her, but he welcomed Shahid with a dry ‘Hi’ and was cold to him during the entire show. The show will be aired on September 12.
The thought is whether it was professional on Salman’s part to cold shoulder a celebrity guest on his show?

A lot of stir is being created for the comeback of Rani Mukherjee with ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ where she is paired opposite Shahid Kapoor. Since age and craze, both are slipping away from Rani’s hands, Rani has decided to switch over to the bikini avatar for the first time to woo her audience. For this, she has worked really hard to get a toned body. In keeping with her bikini rage Rani appears on the cover of ‘Hiblitz’ in a bikini top designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. How much her skin show pleases her fan following, only time can tell. Meanwhile, you check out the shots from ‘Hiblitz’ which proclaim the return of an all new and toned up Rani.

Rani Mukherjee will be back on silver screen with ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ after a long time, her last being ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’. She has taken special efforts in getting a toned body and flaunting it in a bikini. Nevertheless, she is taking keen interest in promoting the film along with her co-star Shahid Kapoor who is on a high these days post his success of ‘Kaminey’.
The duo was seen as special guests on the grand finale of the reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’ on 22nd August on Colors. Shahid awarded the trophy to The Prince Dance group who was declared the winner of this reality show after several relatives and friends of the group, apart from state Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, corporate houses and social activists joined hands to vote en masse for them. They got a staggering Rs.50 lakhs (Rs.5 million) in cash and a swish newly-launched Maruti Suzuki Ritz car as the reward. The group, comprising 26 artistes, all below 22 years of age, spellbound everyone with their act, which was based on episodes from the Mahabharata.
The episode saw Shahid and Rani enjoying the performances and bonding well with the judges Sonali Bendre, Kirron Kher and filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor.
