Vindu Dara Singh may have created nationwide stir after winning the season 3 of the reality show ‘Big Boss’, but his better half, wife Russian model Dina Umarova, wins everyone by her stunning pics in bikini for the 2010 Cloud Nine calendar of the famous fashion photographer Manish Chaturvedi.
Last year, the calendar was shot in Mahabaleshwar. This year, the setting was the sun-kissed beaches of Naigaon (on the outskirts of Mumbai).
Vindu Dara Singh had been earlier married to the Bollywood actress Farah, the elder sister of actress Tabu. They have since divorced and have a son Fateh Randhawa.
After 7 years of his divorce with Farah, he got married to Dina Umarova, a Russian model with whom he has a daughter Amelia.

Celina Jaitley’s love and support for gays is quite well-known by now. Now, the actress has taken yet another step in expressing her support for the lesbians. Now, she has decided to hold a pan-India transgender talent contest named V-care Indian Super Queen along with her transgender friend Laxmi Narayan Tripathi. Celina announced this contest recently at a press conference. The final round will take place in Delhi on February 21st and Celina has offered Rs 50,000 to the winner from her side.
Celina went so emotional at the press conference that she even said, “I wish I had taken part in this contest instead of Miss India.” Guys, don’t you think that Celina’s love for the

Last year, ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani had shot with 48 stars celebrating the completion of a decade of his calendar. This year he is back with usual count of 24 stars, but in black and white shades. Besides some of his old favorites, there are quite a few new names added to the list.
Talking about the calendar to NDTV.com, Dabboo says, “All the stars are comfortable with whatever I decide. They never question me, because we have faith in each other. So whenever I discuss a concept with them, they are happy to go along. I usually share three or four different ideas with the actor. If they are not convinced, we work on it. It is important to be confident about each other; only when the model is able to relate to the picture will he or she be able to give 100 per cent to it.
I have been doing the calendar for many years now. It makes me push myself to the next level. Way back in 2000 when I first shot the calendar, I gave away just a few to my close friends and people I worked with. But the response was so encouraging that I felt it was something I had to do on a regular basis. Every year the calendar pushes me to outdo my last year’s work. This also helps me evolve as a photographer. All through the year I am shooting for agencies, magazines and movies but the calendar is my creative outlet.

Ratnani is all praise for Katrina: “She is very attractive and photographs really well. She puts in a lot of effort for every picture she does. She will keep on giving the shot till it is completely done. Katrina will go to any extent to make the pic look stunning.”
He talks about Priyanka Chopra saying, “She is extremely photogenic. She gives her best in ever photoshoot and loves being in front of the camera. We have been working together since Priyanka’s modelling days and the chemistry we share is simply brilliant.”
Ratnani, who makes Vidya Balan too shed her inhibitions, says about the lady, “This is one of the hottest pictures of Vidya ever. I think she is always open to experiment. She trusts me completely and because of this trust she is very comfortable in my working environment.”
Despite the fact that she has not given a single hit at the box-office, there is no denying the fact that the sauve and selve Sonam Kapoor is here to stay. How she gained her hour-glass figure from her weight of 90 kilos, is what she talks about in the latest edition of ‘Vogue’ for January 2010 as she sizzles on the cover as well as the photoshoot for the mag.
Sonam attributes her makeover to the celeb trainer Zareen Watson, who, on her own admission Sonam says, “Helped me change the way I looked at nutrition and exercise. I had to make a lifestyle change: it’s the only thing that really works; it has to be how you lead your life, a regime you follow.” Sonam also talks about how easy or tough it was it for her hard to lose all those kilos.

Deepika Padukone has created stirs when she was a part of the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar in 2006. Now, this Sunday, the actress unveiled the 2010 edition of Kingfisher’s swimsuit special calendar and she is very proud of it. She says, “In the beginning of my career, I was a part of the calendar and it’s becoming better every year. Girls in this calendar have done a fantastic job. It’s of international standards and it’s one of the best calendars in the world.”
“I am very proud of 2010 edition of the Kingfisher swimsuit special,” said Vijay Mallya, UB group chairman, adding that the calendar has given an opportunity to many young models from India and the world, and he hoped to continue the trend.
This year, noted photographer Atul Kasbekar has taken the photographs for the calendar which will feature five stunning models and has been shot in the exotic locales of Soneva Fushi and Soneva Gili at Six Senses resort in Maldives. The calendar will be launched in January 2010 in Mumbai.

Last week, when Claudia Ciesla was evicted most unexpectedly from ‘Big Boss 3’, it was a major disappointment for most of the viewers. Claudia feels that she has played the game well and has emerged with more confidence and the added achievement of learning Hindi and cooking Indian food.
“I adjusted very well inside the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. I didn’t know how to cook at all, but during my stay I learnt how to cook dal and roti and a few other things. I can cook well now,” says the German supermodel-turned-actress.
Claudia has already featured in M.R. Shahjahan’s “Karma: Crime, Passion, Reincarnation” and her close friendship with housemate Pravesh Rana raised eyebrows.
What does Claudia have to say on this? Was this something more than friendship or a TRP stunt? Claudia denies both. “I don’t agree. Of course, each other’s support was a factor. We had fun, but nothing more. We were just friends inside the Bigg Boss House,” says Claudia.
Now, the sexy lady is all set to concentrate fully on her career in Bollywood and says, “I’m interested in Bollywood and conducted myself in a way that people understood who the real Claudia is.”

She has been chosen as the beauty ambassador for India by American pop singer, actress and fashion entrepreneur Jessica Simpson for her TV show Price of Beauty. This show will have a special segment on Bollywood and Neha has been selected as their beauty ambassador. Neha was noticed by the makers in her US mini series ‘Bollywood Hero’ which was highly appreciated by the critics.
Jessica and her crew would go around the world to find out how different people perceive beauty. The shoot is scheduled to start from next week in Mumbai and according to sources Jessica and her crew have also planned for a big Bollywood party once the shoot gets over.
Amrita Rao debuted as the simple girl-next-door with ‘Ishq Vishq’ and she continued with that image in quite a few of her flicks like ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Vivah’. The second season of ‘Big Boss’ was not as big a hit as its original. However, the producers of the show are all up and in high spirits as they have chosen in Amitabh Bachchan as the host of ‘Big Boss 3’.
‘Big Boss’ had Rakhi Sawant for the oomph, ‘Big Boss 2’ had Payal Rohatgi for the masala and ‘Big Boss 3’ will have the seductress Sherlyn Chopra to add the appeal.
Says a source from the channel Colors, “One reason why we were interested in getting Baba Ramdeo on board is because we got Sherlyn. So we wanted to create a Vishwamitra-Menaka kind of situation between the saint and the seductress in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. Unfortunately Baba opted out.”
Well, we hope that even if Baba is not there, the channel may find other interesting celebs to match to the heat of Sherlyn Chopra.

Actress Lara Dutta was last seen in ‘Billu Barber’ in a de-glam avatar. She is now set to add the oomph factor in the forthcoming ‘Blue’ with her bikini avatar. Lara has worked very hard with strict diet and training regime to get the lean look that she flaunts in a bikini in the film. She has also learnt swimming and scuba diving for the film. ‘Blue’ is apparently Bollywood’s first underwater film and perhaps the most expensive one too. Film’s director Anthony D’Souza has used latest techniques to give it an international look. The music of the film is given by none other than music maestro AR Rahman. Shot in Bahamas, the movie also stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan, Katrina Kaif and Rahul Dev who will be seen swimming, diving and escaping predatory sharks.
Akshay’s character is called Aarav which is his son’s name in real life. Sanjay Dutt plays the role of a fisherman, who also happens to be Akshay’s friend.
