Bollywood hunk Salman Khan turned 46 this year on 27th December and to celebrate the occasion, he held a bash at his Panvel farmhouse with his his parents, brothers, sisters and close friends Sajid Nadiadwala, Bhushan Kumar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Shirish Kunder, Govinda, Nikhil Dwivedi and many more. the list goes on….
Among the invitees, was actor Nikhil Dwivedi and tweeting about the party, he said, “Salman Khan’s party was One of the warmest and coolest party that I ve been to in a long time.. & to see Govinda dance on the floor.. Magic!”
Actress Sneha Ullal, who was Salman Khan’s find as Aishwarya’s look alike and who debuted opposite Salman Khan in the film ‘Lucky: No Time For Love’ was also invited to the party but she couldn’t make it. However, she posted a pic of Salman Khan’s cute birthday cake on Twitter. The cake features The cake has a shirtless man, pulling weights and of course, many goodies of Salman Khan’s Being Human charity.

Sonam Kapoor has worked in quite a few Bollywood films but she is yet to deliver a major hit here. Now, the actress has moved down South and will be working under the direction of A.R.Murugadoss (Ghajini fame) in a Tamil flick with actor Vijay as her co-star. The film’s title is Maalai Nerathu Mazhaithuli – an action adventure and is slated for a 2012 release.
The producers wanted Sonam for the role as they felt she was apt for it. When she was approached by them, she just loved the script and agreed to be part of the film. Reports have it that the film will also be made in Hindi and Akshay Kumar will play the lead in its Hindi version. If this happens, Akshay Kumar ans Sonam Kapoor will be paired for the first time for the big screen.
Ranbir Kapoor seems totally smitten by his ‘Rockstar’ co-star and debutant Nargis Fakhri. He planned a surprise birthday celebration for Nargis whose birthday is on 21st October. The two were flying together for Nagpur and Ranbir had a small yet special birthday cake of her choice delivered to her mid-air when they were 20,000 feet up in the air. Along with the cake he even ordered some goodies. To add to it, singer Mohit Chauhan sang the birthday song for the pretty lady and was joined in by Ranbir himself along with producer Hiren Gandhi.
Nargis declared her birthday earlier on the twitter and wrote, “ITS MY BIRTHDAY! Thanks Mom&Dad(RIP)wish my dad cud c me, n how far i’ve come n all da things i have achieved. Thank u all the BDAY WISHes.”
Nargis expressed her gratitude on making her birthday feel so special and tweeted the experience as , “im so overwhelmed im actually crying right now. thank you guys. i wud take a pic but i dont want it in the paper tomorrow LOL.”
As Ranbir Kapoor turned 29 years old (September 28), his good friend and director Ayaan Mukherjee planned a birthday bash for him at a pub in Mumbai. Ayaan is directing Karan Johar’s forthcoming ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ which stars Ranbir Kapoor alongside his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone. As such, Deepika was also seen at the bash enjoying the celebrations. She looked fabulous as ever in her high-neck lace top and fitted jeans. So impressed is the actor with his bodyguard co-star and veteran actor Raj Babbar that he gifted him a Merc as his belated birthday gift. Raj Babbar plays Kareena Kapoor’s father in the film and agreed to do the part at last moment when Shatrughan Sinha expressed his inability to meet the commitment due to shortage of time.
Raj Babbar’s birthday falls on June 23 and Salman along with his sister Alvria and Bodyguard producer Atul Agnihotri had been planning a surprise for him for quite sometime. Raj Babbar was overhelmed when Sallu gifted him the silver colored car with the number plate which adds up to five the number Babbar prefers.
Raj Babbar’s daughter Juhi confirmed this saying, “Yes, Bhai did gift dad a car.”
It may be mentioned here that Babbar and Sallu’s father Salim Khan have know each other for decades and in 2009, when Raj Babbar was contesting for parliamentary by-election, Salman had specially flown to Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh to campaign for him.

Talking about the first Jeeyo Bollywood Awards, Tusshar Kapoor was awarded for his comic performance in Golmaal 3. Though Tusshar Kapoor is still struggling to make his foothold in the tinsel town, he has received much adoration for his dumb character in the Golmaal series.
The lucky ones to give the trophy to Tusshar were Pratiksha, age 10, and Dadlani, age 61.Very excited Pratiksha said, “I have watched ‘Golmaal’ around ten times only for Lucky’s acting.” Adding to this, Dadlani said, “His character was hilarious and Tusshar truly deserves this award. I am thankful to UTV Movies and PVR Cinemas to have given me this chance to fulfill my dream of meeting the talented actor.”

Tuesday night was all fun and frolic for Kangana Ranaut who ushered in her 24th birthday with a lavish bash for friends from the film industry at her residence in Santa Cruz, a western suburb in Mumbai.
Kangana looked gorgeous as ever in her chic black and orange dress. Among the bigwigs who joined in the celebration were Mallika Sherawat, Ritesh Deshmukh, Jimmy Shergill and director Madhur Bhandarkar. Those invited but who could not make it to the party were Sanjay Dutt, David Dhawan, Arjun Rampal, Ekta Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. But the star who stole the show was our ‘Dabangg’ Khan who walked in quite late at the party along with sister Arpita Khan, thus putting an end to the misunderstanding between him and Kagnana. Not to mention here that Kangana was overjoyed to receive this unexpected guest. The party was also interrupted by cops who reportedly fined Kangana for loud music.

Well, we all know that nudity and boldness did not give the push to big mouthed and big busted bombshell Mallika Sherawat’s career. So, the sex kitten is trying other avenues instead. Transported back to Bollywood from Hollywood, Mallika is trying her hand with judging the reality show ‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom 2’. She has also signed up for an item number ‘Razia Gundo Mein Phas Gayee’ in Anees Bazmee’s ‘Thank You’ for free and now, the latest one is that she will be seen all covered up and in a deglamorised avatar in her next, Case No 99 sharing screen space with big names like Nana Patekar and Naseeruddin Shah.
Scripted by Dilip Shukla of Dabangg fame and directed by debutant director Praful Parekh, the film goes on floors in March. Nana Patekar will be seen in the role of a CBI officer in this suspense thriller about an insurance scam of 100 crores.
The producer of the film, C G Patel, confirmed the news saying, “Yes, we have signed Mallika and paid her the signing amount, but some formalities are yet to be finalised. Nana, who is a great friend, is also on board and is keenly supervising the project. We are still in talks with Naseerji.”
Patel also stressed on the fact that Mallika had absolutely no hesitations in signing a role which was in stark contrast to the roles she has played earlier. He said, “In fact she loved the script. She has a very powerful role and strong dialogue with Nana. People will be surprised to see her in the film.”
So, the dare bare act is ‘Hisss-tory’ for Mallika now??
Anil Kapoor celebrated his birthday on the Christmas Eve as his daughters Sonam and Rhea hosted a birthday bash for him at the Kapoor residence. The party was all glamour and glitter as Bollywood biggies attended the party to convey their best wishes to the actor. Rani Mukerji (who refused to pose for the lenses), Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Boney’s son Arjun Kapoor, designer Kunal Rawal, gallerist Nandini Singh, Ashok Thakeria, Inder Kumar and Padmini Kolhapure and Tutu Sharma were among the guests present to celebrate with Anil. There was music (Bollywood chartbusters, international pop hits and retro) and dancing, food and drink, fun and frolic.

Sameera Reddy had a triple bonanza this year on her birthday. She celebrated her birthday in Mumbai along with her most parents and she was in for a big surprise when her parents gifted a latest brand new white color BMW 5 series car. Not just that they also gifted to her a posh and exclusive deluxe flat. She of course felt wonderful. And lo… her birthday surprises did not end here because director Priyadarshan surprised Sameera on her birthday by signing her for his Hindi film with Ajay Devgn.
However, Sameera was to have celebrated her birthday on 14th December in Chennai on the sets of her untitled film with Vishal directed by Prabhu Deva. However Prabhu Deva gave her a break from the shoot so that she could fly to Mumbai and take part in a “surprise birthday celebration” party which was being arranged by her parents and friends.
Sameera tweeted “Just landed from Chennai back to Mumbai. Good to be back home for my birthday.” About working with Prabhu Deva, the actress tweeted “He is such an awesome director. He insisted I be home with family today. My mom and dad are thrilled.”
