The who’s who of Bollywood turned up to wish Ranbir Kapoor, as he turned 30 this Thursday. Ranbir Kapoor’s ex-flames Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif were in no mood to miss the bash. While Deepika looked hot in wearing her distressed denims and tank with a Zara checked shirt, Katrina looked sweet and sexy in a short pink dress. Also present was Anushka Sharma in a well fitted orange dress. RAnbir has often been linked to Anushka as well.
Others who were there to wish the birthday boy included rival Arjun Kapoor and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and wife. Actress Kalki Koechlin came along with Imtiaz Ali, while Karan Johar also made a late entry. Other guests who were spotted at the bash include ‘Barfi!’ director Anurag Basu, Aditya Roy Kapoor,Sidharth Roy Kapoor and music composer Pritam.
Not present at the party were two other rumoured ex-girlfriends – Ranbir’s Rockstar heroine Nargis Fakhri and Kingfisher model Angela Jonsson.
This is for the second time in two months that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are heading for London. Last time it was for the memorial lunch for the late Nawab Pataudi which they attended together with mom Sharmila Tagore and sisters Soha and Saba. This time it is for the celebration of Saif’s birthday which falls on August 16.
As their wedding preparations seem to be picking up speed and mom Sharmila making it official that the wedding will take place this year, the couple takes their much needed break to spend time with each other. This will help them unwind and gear up for the release of Bebo’s much awaited Heroine and before she begins work on her new projects. Saif will also start filming Go Goa Gone.
The two were spotted at the airport while they were heading for London. Dressed casually, Kareena looked pretty even without makeup in a white top decorated with a glittering red heart, grey slacks and boots. Saif was in T shirt and track bottoms.
Priyanka Chopra turned 30 on the 18th of this month but her birthday bash was a quiet one sans media and shutterbugs. However, our desi girl did celebrate it with her close pals or so is apparent as her buddy, Mubina Rattonsey, posted this pic on Twitter from the grand party. She wrote:

Katrina Kaif tried hard enough to convince the media that she had no plans or celebration for her birthday this year, but somehow the gossip columns managed to get the details of her secret bash with ex-boyfriend Salman Khan.
Apparently, Salman had planned a special party for her at his Bandra residence where only a few close friends were invited. And when Katrina left her house on the night before her birthday, she first posed for the photographers outside her residence and then politely requested them not to follow her.
She then went to Salman Khan’s house in Bandra where apparently a quiet birthday bash was planned for her which was a very private affair with only a few close family members and friends from industry. Katrina Kaif made sure that nobody took notice of her while entering the house.
However, Katrina had earlier emphasised that she had no birthday plans and would be busy dubbing for her upcoming thriller at Yash Chopra’s studio all day long.
After Celina Jaitley, another Bollywood actress to come into limelight for supporting gay rights is Mallika Sherawat. The sex kitten is all set to host a gay bash at legendary Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles to celebrate the engagement of her gay friends Alex Bulger and Rick Ferrari.
Mallika met the two through a common friend at a party and instantly became friends. Rick and Alex are part of that set. Mallika has organized this party along with her friend Helene Bodet and they have planned a lavish menu with the favourite dishes of Alex and Rick.
She has even sent out e-invites on behalf of the couple, which reads, ‘Rick and I would love for you to attend our celebration! We officially became Domestic Partners last month, and are waiting for it to become legal for us to marry. Join us for hor d’oeurves and cake. It rained Birthday cakes for beautiful Sonakshi Sinha as the lady turned 25 on June 2. Celebrations began with the cake cutting on the sets of ‘Son Of Sardaar’ with her co-stars Ajay Devgan and Tanisha.

Sonakshi’s last flick ‘Rowdy Rathore’ has been a rage at the box office and sure enough the team from the film including Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Prabhu Deva and designer Shabina Khan joined Sonakshi in the celebrations.
Twinkle Khanna looked gorgeous with a baby bump in a simple black dress. The baby is reportedly due in September. With Akshay Kumar’s birthday on September 9 and Aarav’s birthday too in September, if the baby comes in the world on time, the Kumar family will be having three birthdays in Septemer.

What a bash it was!! As Karan Johar turned 40 this year, the entire Bollywood clan turned up at the Taj Lands End hotel in Mumbai on Friday night to celebrate his birthday. Most of the celebs came attired in black and white as the theme for the night itself was black and white, revealed designer Manish Malhotra, who took charge of preparing the venue, styling the waiters’ uniform as well as styling many of the guest celebrities.
Karan charmed everyone with his jet black suit and white shirt teamed with a shimmery bow and a white rose in his left pocket. From couples including SRK-Gauri Khan, Hrithik Roshan-Suzann Khan, Sanjay-Maanyata Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’Souza, Anil-Tina Ambani, Goldie Behl-Sonali Bendre, Vidhu Vinod Chopra-Anupama Chopra to single ladies like Kareena Kapoor, Malaika and Amrita Arora, Priyanka Chopra, Rani Mukherjee and so on and so forth, there was hardly any face from Bollywood missing at the party.
SRK was attired in a black suit with a shimmery bow while Gauri wore a dark saffron gown. Aamir Khan opted for a Chinese-collared suit while Kiran Rao wore a pistachio-coloured outfit. Kareena came in a floral short dress while Rani Mukherjee came in a steel grey coloured dress.
Rohit Shetty was dressed casually and was overheard saying, “I am not comfortable in suits.” Aftab Shivdasani who came in a tee said, “I didn’t know the dress code. The invite went to my mother’s house.”

Katrina Kaif is the brand ambassador for BlackBerry and the actress turned up in a gorgeous red dress at the launch event of BlackBerry Curve 9220 smart phone in Delhi on Wednesday. Kaif did the honors of unveiling the new BlackBerry Curve 9220 along with the company executives. This new phone by Research in Motion (RIM) is thinner, sleeker and smarter. It comes with BlackBerry OS 7.1 and has a dedicated key for accessing BlackBerry Messenger and FM radio. Priced at Rs. 10,990 the new phone has a 2 megapixel camera and a 2.44″ screen. Katrina appeared in a black dress at the launch party of the new phone.
Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ali’s production PI films, headed by his wife Preeti, has offered Katrina the lead role in ’22 Tango’ which happens to be a remake of the 2009 Korean film My Girlfriend is an Agent.
Veena Malik had a grand birthday bash with her close friends including Bobby Darling, Rajiv Kashyap, Rajiv Ruia, Rajan Verma, Anand Balraj, Vijay Bhatia, Rashmi Pitre, Ishq Bector and Karanvir Bohra on Sunday night in Mumbai. Dresses in a pink gown, Veena was all smiles as she accepted birthday wishes from her friends.
“Pakistan is my country and there are so many people out there who follow me. There are young boys and girls who look up to me, follow me, love me. But yes, it is not necessary that every single person should love me and I am not supposed to please everybody,” Veena Malik said referring to the controversies created by her during the past months.
Things are pretty promising for the Pakistani actress in Bollywood with two item numbers in her kitty in the films Gali Gali Chor Hai and Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. She also has three films in her kitty: Mumbai 125 KM, Zindagi 50-50, and Dal Mein Kuch Kala Hai.
Though luck has not been much on Shahid Kapoor’s side, there are very few who would doubt on the actor’s potentials. Post his breakup with Kareena Kapoor, Shahid is following the mantra of ‘Work Hard and Party Harder’ to the core.
The actor was in Goa on his birthday and as he turned 31 this year, he did not mind partying just too wild as the photographs put online by the celebrity photographer Atul Kasbekar make it all clear.

The year 2012 turns out to be an year of marital alliances in Bollywood. After the much glam wedding ceremony of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, Bollywood gears up for yet another high profile wedding as actress Esha Deol gets engaged to her beau Bharat Takhtani. The event took place in a private and close gathering of friends and well-wishers at Hema Malini’s bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai.
Hema Malini told reporters: “We are very happy today for Esha and Bharat. It is a happy moment for all of us. Bharat is a very nice person. It is a private function.”
An elated Esha Deol said, “I am happy and I thank everyone for their blessings.”
The wedding date is yet to be decided and once the date is decided, Hema Malini has promised to make an official announcement for it.
Bollywood hunk Salman Khan turned 46 this year on 27th December and to celebrate the occasion, he held a bash at his Panvel farmhouse with his his parents, brothers, sisters and close friends Sajid Nadiadwala, Bhushan Kumar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Shirish Kunder, Govinda, Nikhil Dwivedi and many more. the list goes on….
Among the invitees, was actor Nikhil Dwivedi and tweeting about the party, he said, “Salman Khan’s party was One of the warmest and coolest party that I ve been to in a long time.. & to see Govinda dance on the floor.. Magic!”
Actress Sneha Ullal, who was Salman Khan’s find as Aishwarya’s look alike and who debuted opposite Salman Khan in the film ‘Lucky: No Time For Love’ was also invited to the party but she couldn’t make it. However, she posted a pic of Salman Khan’s cute birthday cake on Twitter. The cake features The cake has a shirtless man, pulling weights and of course, many goodies of Salman Khan’s Being Human charity.
