Actress Adah Sharma is yet to deliver a big hit to our industry. However, the actress is busy with her forthcoming comedy flick ‘Hum Hain Raahi Car Ke’ and was seen shashaying the ramp for designer Sagarika Mittal Goyal on the second day of the India Kids Fashion Week 2012. Talking to the media, Adah Sharma said that she is really excited to be a part of the event!
Earlier titled Pri & Me, Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke is a comic film that revolves around a road trip. Apart from Adah, the star cast includes star cast of the film includes Dev Goel, Juhi Chawla, Anupam Kher, Chunky Pandey, Rati Agnihotri, Vivek Vaswani and Ganesh Venkatraman. Sanjay Dutt has also shot a cameo for the film. The director of the film is Jyotin Goel.

Pakistani actress Veena Malik may have garnered negative publicity and criticism for her outrageous behaviour and alleged closeness with Ashmit Patel during her stay in Big Boss 4, but the show definitely kick started her career in Bollywood. She has already a couple of projects in her hand and she is scorching the ramp with her moves as well.

When it comes to carrying off style with grace and elegance, Deepika Padukone does it perfectly and she proved it for sure as she walked the ramp on the third day of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in Delhi for fashion designer Wendell Rodricks on the third day of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in Delhi.
Wendell had portrayed Deepika as a Christian bride for his Moonlight Beach themed collection which was set in a backdrop of an evening party on a Goa beach. As the night clocked on, the moon rose and a bunch of Goan lads appeared with their guitars.
Her white bridal gown with floral motifs made Deepika fall in love with it. Later she was quoted saying at the show, “If I will do a Christian wedding I will definitely wear Wendell’s designs. He is just superb.”

Amby Valley India Bridal Week 2011 at Sahara Star was all glamour and glitter with beautiful Bollywood ladies displaying stunning bridal collections by ace designers of the sountry. Ameesha Patel was the show stopper for Rocky S who designed her look in a jade green georgette lehenga with a broad gold border and matching choli teamed with a red dupatta. Vikram had Neil Nitin Mukesh as the showstopper for his all-women bridal wear line. Mallika Sherawat walked the ramp in Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor’s creation. Also present were Juhi Chawla, Aashish Chaudhary, Sophie Choudry, Hrishant Goswami, Salim Merchant, Krishika Lulla, Preeti Jhangiani, Lucky Morani, Falguni and Sushil Jhaveri and Manjari Phadnis.

There is no denying the fact that designer Manish Malhotra left no stone unturned to end the Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2011 with glitz, glamour and glitterati. The grand finale show was inspired by Lakme’s new Absolute make-up line and after a dazzling display by 49 models, the clocks stopped ticking when the showstopper Kareena Kapoor perched on a giant frame, gradually descended on the stage against the backdrop of the models and took the ramp leaving everyone mesmerized.
She received a thunderous applause from her fans, audience and her colleagues from Bollywood including Deepika Padukone, Imran Khan, Karan Johar, Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Shabana Azmi and Katrina Kaif.
She looked absolutely stunning in a fabulous white layered lace, silk, net gown with a shimmering bodice. “It was a fantastic show and I danced in the end because this show is very special to me. My best friend was showcasing his collection and my sister was walking the ramp, so I was very happy,” Karisma Kapoor said.


Walking the ramp for Babita M’s Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive show was all altogether memorable experience for Kalki Koechlin as her husband and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was present in the first row to cheer her.
“This is my first fashion show that he (Anurag) attended and I would love to hear from him how he liked it,” Kalki told the reporters adding, “I have always loved fashion. I have taken part in almost every fashion week because I was very enthusiastic about it,” she added.
Walking for the ramp is not something new for Kalki Koechlin who has already been the showstopper at the India International Jewellery week and Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour. This time she looked absolutely different and gorgeous in a deep brown gown, embellished artistically with metal pieces, nuts, bolts, screws and metal sheets.
“I have never attended any fashion show ever in my life. But this one was fun. Even the live percussion was very good,” said Kashyap, who was accompanied by his daughter Aaliya from his first wife Aarti.

International Jewellery Week 2011 has successfully completed four glamorous and glittering days with several Bollywood beauties grace the ramp with their style and poise. On the fourth day of the event, Malaika Arora, Shraddha Kapoor and Eesha Koppikar set the ramp afire with their sensuous looks. While Malaika and Eesha went for red, Shraddha walked in pristine white and orange creation, designed by Manish Malhotra.
Malaika Arora was the showstopper for Bridhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers and was attired in a red off-shoulder gown accessorized with a kundan necklace with ruby floral centre along with matching cuffs and earrings.
Opting for a traditional look in orange and white, Shraddha matched her outfit with a dazzling diamond choker and rows of precious stones clasped with diamond and ruby pendants on either side. Eesha Koppikar opted for a bridal look.

Delhi Couture Week 2011 was all glamour and glitter as the Bollywood stars not only graced the occasion but also scorched the ramps in dazzling creations by talented designers. On the third-day of the ongoing Synergy1 Delhi Couture Week in the capital, Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor displayed the creation of Indian designer Manish Malhotra. Shraddha Kapoor displayed a creation of Indian designer Anju Modi on July 24, 2011 and Sonakshi Sinha looked ravishing as ever as she walked the ramp in the creation of Indian designers Shantanu and Nikhil. For the first time, yesteryear actress Sharmila Tagore walked the ramp in a ghaghra designed by Indian designers Ashima-Leena. It was a rocking evening at the launch of Blenders Pride Magical Nights party tour when fashion maestros like Ranna Gill and and Rocky S made the hot models look hotter in their creations as they sashayed the ramp on Wednesday last week. Cancer Patients Aid Association held the Pidilite-CPAA ‘Caring with Style‘ fashion show which had Bollywood diva Kajol as the chief guest. Designers Manish Malhotra and Shaina NC showcased their collections at this show where beautiful actresses and models oozed glamour and beauty at the ramp. The proceeds of the show go towards the Cancer Patients Aid Association. Vivek Oberoi is the brand ambassador for CPAA.

Cannes this year is all glamour and glitter with Bollywood beauties in their presentable best at the red carpet. Apart from Bollywood actresses, the Miss India World 2011 Kanishtha Dhankhar also walked the red carpet along with the renowned Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee for Chivas.
Kanishtha looked ravishing in her traditional attire created by Sabyasachi which had zari work in gold added with a dupatta in nude shade. She added to her traditional look with dozens of gold and black bangles and a hanging pendant (mang tika) on the forehead.
An all elated Kanishtha said before leaving for Cannes, “I had many plans for this year but not even in my wildest dreams had I thought that I will be walking the Cannes red carpet. I feel lucky and blessed.”

Actress Vidya Balan has always been a great admirer of designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee and has already sported his creations in her movies like ‘Paa’ and ‘No One killed Jessica’. She was also there for him when he presented his contemporary collection with a touch of the vintage with the backdrop resembling books lined up in a British library during the grand finale of Wills India Fashion Week.
Commenting on Sabyasachi’s new collection, Vidya said, “What can I say which I haven’t said last year or the year before? He never ceases to amaze me, taking designing to a different level each time. His collection was so stunning, I wanted to grab some of the pieces off the ramp!”
And sure enough, Balan turned up in the designer’s creation herself with a bright yellow saree teamed with a fuchsia blouse. Vidya said, “I wear sarees which are by Sabyasachi only.”
