Going further with the news, the film titled ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ is directed by Sabir Khan and will hit the theatres in December. Stallone is also trying his best to convince his long time buddy Arnold Schwarzenegger to appear alongside him in the movie. Whether Arnold too will appear in the film or not, only time can tell. This was merely one side of the picture, the other one is of outsourcing by Hollywood companies from India, due to her exceptional skills in software development. As the animation or the specials effect part of the movie due to expertise services occurs to be quite cheaper in India.

The Love Guru that is to be released in America this weekend is filmed around Indian stereotypes and its people. If the history of Indian characters is seen through the Indian movies then in most of the cases, the characters are portrayed as figures of funs. But soon, the things may change for Bollywood fraternity and they would be the objects of reverence as a major Indian entertainment company is on the cards to finance a new film company with Steven Spielberg.

According to media news Mr Spielberg and his partner David Geffen are in talks to make a new Hollywood film production company with Reliance Big Entertainment, a media group headed by Indian billionaire industrialist, Anil Ambani. Both Spielberg and Mr Geffen are one of the founders of Dream Works, which is a part of media group Viacom, however, it is expected that very soon they will disassociate them from the group.

In case, every thing goes well then Reliance Big Entertainment would pump $500 million in Hollywood. Reliance’s this move happened one month after Reliance signed series of bold production contract with George Clooney and Brad Pitt at the Cannes film festival. But Mr A Ambani needs to learn from the earlier experiences of other international investors who tried to make big image after investing heavily in Hollywood before making invest into the market. One media executive expressed his opinion for investing in Hollywood, “Hollywood has a long, distinguished record of eating up foreigners and then spitting them out.”

This trend of foreign investment in the Hollywood started in 1980s from the Japanese electronic that in order to increase the sales of it is betaformat equipments invested $ 3.4 bn to buy Columbia Pictures and its sister company Tri-star. The renamed Sony Pictures Entertainment under Jon Peters and Peter Guber the renowned producer from the fresh success of hit movies – Batman and Rain Man- produced many flopped films and finally after 5 years Sony wrote off the acquisition with $ 3 bn in losses.

After Sony it was Matsushita who MCA Universal – later renamed Universal Studios but failed same like as Sony, then after it Jean-Marie Messier, the flamboyant former chief of Vivendi, the French utility, invested in Hollywood buying Seagram, but his dream ended in failure as had to quit from the company’s board of directors and company. Hopefully, Ambani may be fortunate enough than his earlier predecessors.

‘Kambakth Ishq’ starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor has lots of first time surprises in store. It is through this film that for the first time Hollywood superstar Sylvester Stallone will act in a Hindi movie. Also, with this film, for the first time in Indian history, the shooting will take place inside the Universal Studio. This will also be the biggest and costliest movie so far with an investment of about Rs. 90 crores. Akshay plays a Hollywood stuntman in the film and the film is from Sajid Nadiawala.

Sajid Nadiadwala is all too excited about the way the movie is shaping up and says, “We have signed Sylvester Stallone to be a part of ‘Kambakth Ishq’. We have a certain vision for our production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Since ‘Kambakth Ishq’ is based in Hollywood… it made perfect sense to appoint casting agents in Hollywood and cast mainstream Hollywood stars. This film is one of our most ambitious ventures to date and we didn’t want to leave any stone unturned.”

“I have been working on the script for a long time now, and it’s an exciting merging of Hollywood and Indian cinema. So, for me, it’s like a dream come true and I have the best producer anyone can ask for. He is making even the impossible possible for me,” says Sabir Khan, who will be making his directorial debut with this film.

Renowned Bollywood director Prahakar Shukla is all set to make a movie on a tragic incident of rape and murder of 15 years old British tourist Scarlett Keeling who was found dead on a beach in Goa in February.

Prabhakar Shukla told The Times that he would start shooting of the movie Rave Party from July in Goa and is in contact with Katrina Kaif for the proposed role of playing act of Scarlett. He further said he wished to reveal less known facts about the Portugese colony that is know as “hippy paradise” and have become shelter for drug peddlers and addicts. According to Shukla, ‘The whole film is about drug abuse and the exploitation of tourist” and he further said just not in India but in entire world real life cinema is attracting tourists. He has yet to meet Scarlett’s mother MacKeown and hopefully meet him on planned trip to Britain next month.

According to the comments reported to ‘The Times’ Mrs MacKeown said she is in doubt about the movie that might depict Scarlett in bad shade rather than her killers and police that was lenient in dealing with culprits. “I’d like to know how they’re going to portray it, or I won’t approve it,” she told The Times. “I’m not sure about calling it Rave Party. Scarlett was not at a party. She was raped and murdered on the beach.”

However, Scarlett’s case is recognized as one of the most brutal of a series of recent sexual assaults on foreign women tourist and most of them being female have raised concern about the safety of female tourists in Indian during last six month.

King Khan is now on move to make a children movie loaded with special effects for whopping $ 25 million (Rs1 billion) as the costliest movie ever made in Bollywood. The rs 100 crore movie is to be produced in VFX medium using special computer- generated special effects. Shah Rukh disclosed the plan for the movie in an interview to Patrick Frater of Hollywood’s top trade magazine variety at Berlin film festival recently.

He is in communication with Eros Multimedia and Charles Darby (Related to Matrix and Minority Report) visual effect expert who has stake in Eros to start special effects Eyeqube studios in Mumbai.

Shah Rukh told he was producing movie under his home banner Red Chillies Production to be directed by Anubhav Sinha. He said, “We are dedicating the next eight or nine months to taking the best technicians from around the world and asking them to help us make the best VFX film India has ever made. It will be madcap, over the top. I want it to be as beautiful as Spider-Man in terms of effects,” Khan told Variety.

In the response to the question whether he was not courted by Hollywood he said, “I’m waiting for someone like Steven Spielberg or James Cameroon (of Titanic fame) or some other great person like Ang Lee to make a film, a film about a brown, thin, scrawny Indian guy who doesn’t speak English too well. If they ever have a character like that and Google it, I’m sure they’ll find me.”

During the interview he also admitted his home production movie Om Shanti Om was full of clichés of Indian cinema.

Bollywood’s happening lady Priyanka Chopra is playing her cards right.
