Talking about the latest campaign of sports-brand Reebok, the handsome cricketer sports a casual killer looks and giving him company is one of Bollywood’s hottest babes- Bipasha Basu.

The duo reflect amazing chemistry as they fiddle with a rugby ball in the campaign. To be known here that it was Bollywood hunk John Abraham who was the first choice of the company, but since John is already associated with Wrangler, we had Yuvi stepping in.

However, Bipasha has no regrets and in fact she thoroughly enjoyed the experience working with Yuvraj. Bips said, “Working with Yuvi is great fun and he is a complete bundle of energy.” Praising Reebok, Bipasha said, “You can call Reebok a confluence of sorts and style. I associate with it, as it is the kind of clothing I wear, being a fitness conscious person myself. I am sporty person and these clothes are a part of my life. The stylish clothes and patterns are simply amazing”

Now, this was a birthday party with some difference, considering the fact that it was a Bollywood birthday party but without fights and with patching up of old enemies. Yes, it was Saif Ali Khan’s birthday party at Four Seasons in Worli on August 16 where the long cold war between Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu seemed to come to an end.

The rift between Bips and Bebo has its roots at the sets of ‘Ajanabee’. It grew stronger as Kareena called John Abraham ‘expressionless’ on Karan Johar ’s show and Bipasha continuing with making an unflattering remark (she called Bebo an actress with ‘too many expressions’) about Kareena.

But this time Kareena herself took an initiative and personally invited Bipasha for the party. Bipasha was surprised to hear from Bebo and gladly accepted the invitation. At the party, the two girls took no time in breaking the ice and warming up. They simply got talking.

While the girls went for a friendship day, it was not the same for the guys. Though Saif had invited both Shahrukh and Salman, while SRK attended with wife Gauri, Arbaaz Khan made up for brother Salman’s absence.

The reason for Adnan’s absence was that he has been hospitalized due to a bad case of food poisoning which he suffered a couple of days back. Adnan really regretted missing the opportunity but is fine now and on a way to speedy recovery.

Amrita plays a lingerie model in producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s film ‘Kambakht Ishq’. Bipasha Basu plans to take a holiday break to island Capri in Italy with her long-time love John Abraham. Bips had been there for a shooting and the isle impressed her so much that she felt like calling John immediately for a holiday, but sadly enough John is currently shooting for Kabir Khan’s New York in Philadelphia.

Basu is also impressed by the hotel where she stayed and says, “The hotel where I stayed is frequented by celebrities from all over the world. My room overlooked the ocean and it was the most gorgeous suite I had ever stayed in.”

Bipasha is currently getting her house renovated and is busy with that. “I have rented a place close to where I live so that I can shift there while my house is being renovated. But even my rented house is being done up before I can move there. For now, I am staying at my own place in a makeshift corner. With all this work going on, you can understand my unhappy state of mind. It’s about time I take my most deserved holiday break. I am definitely going back to Capri with John,” says Bipasha.

So, Jiah was seen at the Mehboob studios, looking no less than an innocent bird herself dressed in an all white attire with kites all around her. She had ‘unreal blood’ all over her hand sending across a strong message “to cut glass coated manja, not wings”. Thus, she spreads the message that people should not use sharp threads to fly a kite coz this will harm the Birds when they strike with the Kite.

Not only this, she also recently expressed her love for animals at an event organized by PETA. She posed with a huge bull as its saviour and alter signed on the bull stating “Please help the animals, they have feelings too.”

It all happened on the sets of a television reality show where Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone appeared for the promotion of their upcoming ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’.

Incidentally, Deepika was to make an entry with Ranbir, but Bips did not like the idea at all and insisted that she should make an entry with the Kapoor kid. So, the promoters decided to focus on Bipasha on the TV show and arranged an entry of Ranbir and Bipasha together. Deepika, sadly, was sidelined.

Jealous as all women are, Deepika did not take it down in good spirit and kept sulking through the entire show, so much so, that she even snapped at a contestant leaving him hurt.

The latest buzz in the industry is that Katrina Kaif will not be a part of the Sohail Khan Productions’ sequel to Partner, i.e., ‘Partner 2’. The film is set to go on the floors in March-April next year and David Dhawan is sweating hard at the script. David has also been signed for another film under Sohail Khan Productions which is titled as ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’.

Sohail Khan confirmed the news when he said, “The sequel to Partner will have the same leading actors - Salman and Govinda, but we are looking for different leading ladies.”

It could be recalled here that Salman-Govinda starrer ‘Partner’ was a huge hit in 2007. Katrina was paired opposite Govinda and Salman played the Love Guru. Meanwhile, we are wondering here that does this news confirm the souring relationship between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif?

The acting bug has bitten him too, and now controversial Punjabi pop singer Mika Singh (who created quite a stir for kissing Rakhi Sawant) is now all set to make his acting debut with ‘Cabaret‘. The movie will have Mika play a club owner. This film about the misuse of Internet by contract killers directed by debutante director Vinod Mukhi is complete and is scheduled for a September release. Telugu actress Mumait Khan plays the lead opposite Mika.

‘Yes, Mika is playing the lead in my film. He plays the boss of a club that gradually turns into a hotspot for contract killers. His character sings, dances and has all the fun, but doesn’t tolerate any misbehaviour in his bar. Mumait plays the role of a club dancer who performs in Mika’s club,’ says Mukhi.

Well, Mika does have a song in the film. It is a hip-hop song. Apart from this film, Mika will also feature in Suniel Shetty’s ‘Loot‘ for which he was shooting in Kenya recently.
