Katrina Kaif is the brand ambassador for BlackBerry and the actress turned up in a gorgeous red dress at the launch event of BlackBerry Curve 9220 smart phone in Delhi on Wednesday. Kaif did the honors of unveiling the new BlackBerry Curve 9220 along with the company executives. This new phone by Research in Motion (RIM) is thinner, sleeker and smarter. It comes with BlackBerry OS 7.1 and has a dedicated key for accessing BlackBerry Messenger and FM radio. Priced at Rs. 10,990 the new phone has a 2 megapixel camera and a 2.44″ screen. Katrina appeared in a black dress at the launch party of the new phone.
Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ali’s production PI films, headed by his wife Preeti, has offered Katrina the lead role in ’22 Tango’ which happens to be a remake of the 2009 Korean film My Girlfriend is an Agent.
Kareena Kapoor may not be clear about her marriage plans but the girl is surely going places at her professional front. The moment her contract with a popular cola company expired, Bebo lost no time in signing another deal with a lemonade brand for a whopping amount of Rs. 5 crore. She has also started the shoot for the commercial at Brabourne studio in Mumbai.

Till now Kareena Kapoor had maintained her stand that she would not do item numbers for any flick. However, when her friend and ‘Bodyguard’ co-star Salman Khan requested her to shake it for an item number in his forthcoming ‘Dabangg 2’, Bebo could not manage to give out a NO.
So, now we have Kareena Kapoor to do a sizzling item number in ‘Dabangg 2’ and Salman, known for his gestures of appreciation has decided to gift a BMW to her to repay her favours.

Given the fact that it is a Mahesh Bhatt film and stars our serial kisser Emraan Hashmi along with kingfisher’s sexy Esha Gupta, it is but obvious that ‘Jannat 2’ would be raising the standards of hotness and boldness in Bollywood.
The leaked video of ‘Tujhe Sochta Hoon’ from the flick is doing rounds on the net and shows a passionate lovemaking scene between Emraan and Esha who play husband and wife in the movie. There is also a passionate lip lock between the two. Confirming her bold scenes in the film Esha says, “Yes, there are a few kissing scenes in “Jannat 2″, but we have shown love between husband and wife, it’s not like some wild animals making out.”
Well, Esha has shown that she has no qualms about shedding clothes and doing bold scenes. No wonder Bhatts seem to be so impressed by her. Gupta has bagged a three-film contract with the Bhatts. After Jannat 2 she will be seen in Raaz 3.

While the skin care company Neutrogena has renewed its contract with Prachi Desai, the company has decided to drop out Deepika Padukone from its next campaign. A company official said, “We have not renewed the contract with her. We partnered with her and both of us enjoyed working together.” Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Division Manoj Gadgil said, “Prachi Desai is very much on board for the next couple of years.”
Although Neutrogena is not keen to renew its contract with Padukone, the beauty has not dearth of endorsements or film in her kitty. She currently endorses brands like Nescafe, Sony Cybershot camera, ITC’s Fiama, Tissot Watches among others.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is still basking in the glory of motherhood or so it seems from her lack of interest to lose those extra chubby fats. Her husband Abhishek Bachchan’s comment sometime back that Ash was pretty happy playing a mom supported the guesses that she was not too keen to return to her career.
However, recent moves by Aishwarya suggest a turn of things. Not only did she attend an event in Dubai as a brand ambassador of the luxury watch brand Longines, she will also attend the Cannes Festival this year as a brand ambassador of the cosmetic giant L’Oreal. On the advertisement front, the beauty is eyeing on endorsement deal with an Indian jewellery brand for a staggering amount of Rs.10 crore. Rumors have it that she will be seen with her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan in these jewellery advertisements.
On her returning to the silver screen, husband Abhishek Bachchan says, “As and when she wants to come back, is completely her decision. As and when she decides, when she sees a script she is inspired by – the decision is entirely hers.”
No sooner did Sunny Leone catapult to popularity by joining the Bhatt camp for her debut in Bollywood with ‘Jism 2’ than the Phillipines-based actor-filmmaker Stegath Dorr decided to cash in her popularity in India by releasing his adult film starring Sunny and Black Shama here.
The film is based on an old-fashioned ghost story about abrasive pro-am bird photographers arousing the vengeful spirit of a medieval Malay witch doctor on sacred land. Sunny plays a Canadian-Sikh professional female photographer Jenny Singh in this film and it has been shot in Cebu, Philippines. However, the reaction of the Indian censor board to some brutal molestation-murder sequences is yet to be seen.
Sunny’s growing popularity in India has also helped the revival of Dorr’s first film with Sunny — Pirates’ Blood which was shot at South star Mohanlal’s studio in Kerala in 2008. Dorr says, “A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by Gulab Premkumar and was requested to return to India to shoot additional scenes for the film in order to re-release it.”
Item numbers have taken our industry by a rage and these days all top notch actresses are willing to groove on raunchy item numbers. The promos of the flicks too give in a lot of weight to the item numbers. So, it did not come as a surprise when Ekta Kapoor too decided to rope in an item number to her forthcoming ‘Shootout at Wadala’. To add spice to this is the fact that the item girl here would be Bipasha Basu who happens to be the ex-girlfriend of one of the main leads in the film, John Abraham. However, John will not be a part of this song.
Shootout at Wadala is based on the real life incident and has a host of stars including John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Sonu Sood, Manoj Bajpai and Tusshar Kapoor.
John Abraham is paired with Kangana in the film.
Well, the news of Katrina Kaif baggin in Prakash Jha’s next project ‘Satyagrah’ in the role of a politician does not come without controversies. The gossip columns are abuzz with the story that Kaif pipped Kareena Kapoor to grab the role.
Both Katrina and Kareena were in the race for the lead role in the film Satyagrah which is based on the issue of corruption, said to be loosely inspired from the Anna Hazare movement. The movie stars Akshay Kumar in the male lead and he is also co-producing the film.
Kareena Kapoor or Katrina Kaif may have been rivals for this role but they have come together for the cover of Cineblitz magazine April 2012 cover. The picture, however, is not from an exclusive cover shoot – it’s rather from their recent ad shoots.

Shahrukh Khan is known to be very protective of his female co-stars and he displayed this attitude of his when he came to Katrina Kaif’s rescue at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport. Both the stars were in London for the shooting of Yash Chopra’s untitled film. After the 35-day schedule, arrived at the airport in the middle of the night but their mere few minutes’ presence created a mini frenzy at the airport.
Katrina upon her arrival decided to walk straight to her car whereas Shahrukh chose to speak to media about shooting and his blockbuster film RaOne’s animator Charu Khandal.
When the crowd pressed too close to Katrina Kaif, SRK quickly came forward and shielded her from the crowd, physically keeping people away from her. He kept his arms around the actress and escorted her till her car.
It may be mentioned here that SRK and Salman Khan are not on very good terms and as Salman’s girlfriend, Katrina had always avoided working with SRK. Now, they are working together under Yash Raj banner and initially, there were rumours in the media that the SRK-Kat starrer film will be named London Ishq but Shahrukh has denied any such claims.
It was a memorable night for actress Kareena Kapoor at the unveiling of UTV Stars’ ‘Walk of the Stars.’ She unveiled the brass statue of her late grandfather Raj Kapoor and recollected the memories of the time spent with him.
After unveiling the statue, she said, “I am short of words; what more would I ask for. My father and my grandfather have made me who I am. Which girl has got this opportunity, guys?”
“Kapoors have acting in their veins and blood. I am looking forward to walk down memory lane. What better gift than this to the 100 years of Indian cinema,” she added.
Kareena Kapoor went ahead to sit on the lap of the brass statue of Raj Kapoor she unveiled, and added with a dash of humor, “This is the only lap that Saif would allow me to sit on.”
