Next, Boney Kapoor’s plans for shooting a promotional video for the film with Shahid and Kareena went berseck as Kareena went on her size-zero spree and the promoters of the film had to give up the idea. The promotional song had already been recorded with Himesh Reshammiya and as per the sources, now this song will be shot on Shahid and a new girl.

The latest headache for the producer has been the fact that Kareena has refused to come together and share the stage with Shahid Kapoor for the promotion of the film. She is ready to promote the film but sans Shahid.

After spending many lonely years post her breakup with Vikram Bhatt, Ameesha Patel found solace in her NRI boyfriend Kanav Puri and they were into steady relationship for the past three years. However, since past eight months, trouble has been creeping into their relationship.

The reason for this trouble is that while Kanav wants to settle down with marriage, Ameesha wants to give another try to her sinking acting career. In fact, he had proposed marriage to her when he had come down to India to celebrate her birthday in June last year but to his dismay, Ameesha has been evading this topic by and again. Currently, there is so much tension that both have stopped speaking altogether.

Giving the details, the bong beauty says, “This was my first birthday in Delhi. I’ve very special links with that city. I was born in Delhi. So when I got a chance to be in the Capital for my birthday I grabbed it. To make it even better it was seriously cold in Delhi. I love the winter weather.

It was the Auto Expo and as you know John loves anything on wheels, but hates birthdays. So he was just happy being around some of the best cars in the world.”

However, Bipasha stands by her lover and explains, “John runs the other way when it comes to cutting cakes. I spent my whole birthday cutting cakes with different groups of family members and friends. I couldn’t take all the calls and sms. But I answered all of them on the day after my birthday.”

Talking about the family lunch on her birthday, Bips says, “It’s an annual ritual on my birthday, and one I won’t miss for the world. This time one of my sisters was not here for my birthday. She’s studying. We really missed her. But my parents and my other sister, brother-in-law and nephew were home for my birthday.

When I returned from Delhi my house was filled with flowers. You’ve no idea how wonderful flowers look in a newly-renovated house. My home was fragrant and attractive. My two sweet maidservants had arranged all the bouquets all over the house.”

After the two came close to each other while shooting for ‘Azab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ and post the unofficial split of Ranbir Kapoor with Deepika Padukone, the rumors of his affair with Katrina Kaif is doing rounds from quite some time.

Another string to this chain of rumors was added when it was found out that Katrina, who was supposed to be with her family in London, was actually in New York where co-incidentally Ranbir is there shooting for Sajid Nadiawala’s film ‘Anjaana Anjaani’.

However Katrina is quick to dismiss all rumours. She said, “I’m very much in London. It’s a joke in my family about me being in New York because I’m harassed by many calls.”

The sad ending of Salman Khan and Aishwarya’s love affair has not yet been forgotten by people even after so many years. The ex-lovers too have sore wounds to heal, it seems, as the two could not hide their uneasiness when they bumped into one another while they were shooting at Mehboob Studios, Bandra for their respective films. Ash was there shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’, where as Salman Khan was at Mehboob shooting a promo for his movie ‘Veer’.

As per the reports, as Salman got off from his car and marched ahead talking on his mobile, at the same time Ash stepped out of a studio and walked towards her van. As their paths crossed, and the two actors noticed each other, they did stop for a moment, looked into each other’s eyes and then immediately turned the other way.

While, Aishwarya went into her van, Salman’s uneasiness was quite obvious. Post the incident, Salman wasn’t too keen to shoot, but did so anyway, and didn’t speak too much.

Monday afternoon was special for those around the Taj Mahal as Shilpa Shetty was there with her beau Raj Kundra to spend an hour cherishing their love. The couple was guarded by their personal security guards as a huge crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of Shilpa. Shilpa and Raj, at present, own a business empire which includes a $16.2 million (10 million pounds) stake in the Rajasthan Royals Twenty20 cricket team and a recently acquired food and beverage company, Gourmet Creations.

Shetty, 34, believes in relishing every moment of her life inspite of problems and controversies cropping up every now and then. She recently became the co-chairwoman of Gourmet Creations after she and fiance Raj Kundra paid 6 million pounds to buy a 33 per cent stake in it.

Now, the former boss of her newly acquired restaurant chain has sued her for 6 million pounds on grounds of unfair dismissal.

Jamal Hirani, 42, founder of fast-food chain ‘Tiffinbites’ alleges that he was forced out by colleagues in a process that led to the firm closing and opening under a new name, the V8 Gourmet Group.

“They manufactured false accusations against me. This ultimately was my company and I have been removed. I understand that since I have left Shilpa Shetty has invested in the business,” said Hirani.

A spokesman for the actress reacted to the controversy by saying, “The case refers to events that happened before Shilpa and Raj joined. She was always aware this tribunal was coming up and hopes for a fair outcome.”

Right from the time Freida Pinto and Dev Patel worked together in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, the duo has been linked together and they have been denying the rumors.

However, the love birds have been spotted together time and again looking very much in love with each other.

Recently, they were photographed together once again as they were leaving a Fashion’s Night Out event at jewellery store ‘Asprey’ in Bond Street. This is quite in contrast with the statement the actress made when she attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards recently.

Freida had stated, “Why does everybody ask me where Dev is? I don’t know where he is, I don’t have him on a leash, he’s doing his own thing. I don’t know what’s going on. I find it funny that people are so interested in what we’re doing.”

Aishwarya Rai has had a very ugly and very public breakup with both Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi and unfortunately both her ex boyfriends have been shooting close to the sets of her film ‘Guzaarish’ in Mehboob Studios in the last few days. Salman was here for his film ‘Veer’ and Vivek was there for a photo shoot for director Rensil D’Silva’s film ‘Kurbaan’.

While Salman opted to stay away from the sets of ‘Guzaarish’ to avoid any uncomfortable situation, Vivek chose another way to avoid meeting Aishwarya and also spend some time with his old friend Hrithik Roshan who is Ash’s co-star in the film. Vivek and Hrithik have grown up together, as they are both from Juhu.

First, Vivek made sure that Ash was not on the sets and then he dropped at the sets to meet Hrithik. What followed was a long, close and hearty chat between two friends. They were later joined by Bhansali.

According to sources, So, Vivek didn’t want to miss the chance of meeting Hrithik.

Kangana is obviously quite upset with the rumors and says, “I should free myself from my last experience. I need to be ready to fall in love again. Why can’t people imagine somebody single for sometime?”

Kangana and Adhyayan, both have handled their breakup in a mature manner. They had no ugly exchange of words and the parting was as respectful as should be.

Kangana says, “We respect each other far too much to insult each other. Yes, I was shocked at first. Adhyayan doesn’t want to be in a relationship at this point of time. T thought it was a nightmare but on second thoughts, I understand. I too dissuade my younger brother from being In a relationship at this age.”

Adhyayan too states that he decided to end this relationship just because he needs to focus on his career which is just one film old right now. States Adhyayan, “I can’t afford to mess it up. I haven’t taken my father’s help and neither have I told him to make a film for me. I’m doing it all for myself. I don’t want to take a chance. We are still friends for love can always wait and career won’t.”
