The actress is best known for her claim a few months ago that Mahesh Bhatt had physically abused her and was even possessive about her. She went further to hold Bhatt responsible for driving her away from Bollywood.
However, it seems that our tinsel town failed to tap her talents well and her performances are earning high appreciation in our neighbour Pakistan. The actress has been conferred the ‘Sitara-i-Imitaz’, the third highest civilian honor in Pakistan. We wonder what Mahesh Bhatt has to say on this!!
Gossip columns went berseck with speculations when Priyanka Chopra was spotted wining and dining with the British singer-songwriter, rapper, beatboxer and record producer, Jay Sean at a bash thrown by him in a Juhu nightspot on Sunday.
Priyanka was introduced to Sean during the shoot of Anjana Anjaani in New York and since then she has openly admitted her admiration for him. Since then, the two have kept in touch and have followed each other on a social networking site. The two were in the nightclub for around two and a half hours and were seen engrossed in an animated conversation and many a giggle. They even left the nightclub together.

The buzz started in the month of January this year when Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza were seen dancing together and exuding chemistry at the celebration of 10th wedding anniversary of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna at their residence. However, the two seemed to remain tight lipped on the issue claiming to be just good friends.

Well, it is known by now that Preity Zinta has stepped into the production zone and her first film will be directed by Prem Soni (Mein Aur Mrs. Khanna fame). What is news is that the bubbly actress has decided to rope in two leading French actors for her film- Fabrice Luchini to play the main lead in her film and the other one is a younger actor, whose name has not been revealed yet. Fabrice, who was recently seen in films such as Service Entrance, Potiche and The Girl from Monaco, is a well- known French actor and this would be his first brush with Indian films.
Preity’s production will be a romantic comedy which will reveal the essence of both Indian and French culture and will be made in three languages- Hindi, English and French. And yes, Preity will of course be a part of the cast. Both the producer and the director are currently in Paris, discussing the film with actors, and scouting for suitable locations for the shoot.
Deepika Padukone seems to be in a friendly mood now because the girl broke the ice between herself and Kareena Kapoor when the latter dropped in on the sets of ‘Cocktail’ to meet her beau Saif Ali Khan. Later, the three were seen bonding big time over dinner.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have always been open about their relationship and their romance has been up and going for quite sometime now. However, of late, the gossip columns have been red with news that their relationship is going through a rough phase probably because of Saif’s growing fondness for Deepika Padukone who is his co-star in Aakarshan and Cocktail.
Saif, on the other hand, vehemently denies such reports and said at a press statement, “I would like to reassure our fans and well-wishers that all is well with Kareena and I…we are working hard but we always make time for each other.
All these rumours are disturbing and untrue…especially when families are brought into it in such bad taste. I wouldn’t like to say anymore except we are very happy together.”
Finally, it is official. Pakistani actress, Veena Malik, who made quite a stir with her alleged relationship with housemate Ashmit Patel in Big Boss is all set to debut in Bollywood with Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai to be directed by Aanand Balraj, the younger brother of Deepak Balraj (director of the movie Hafta Bandh). This will be Aanand’s directorial debut. Aanand started his career in Bollywood as an actor and was seen in various short roles in the Subhash Ghai films like Ram Lakhan, Khalnaayak, Saudgar and Pardes.
Reports have it that Veena will be playing a double role in the flick. One Veena was just too hot to handle on the smaller screen. Veena in double role will surely scorch the bigger screen!!
Angela Johnson had been more in news for her alleged linkup with Ranbir Kappor than her professional goings. The swimsuit calendar girl auditioned for ‘Dhoom 3’ without success but now she can boast of her first Bollywood project, Kya Kool Hai Hum 2 which happens to be the sequel to the Sangeeth Sivan directed 2005 film Kya Kool Hai Hum.
She will play the second female lead to this Ekta Kapoor’s project to be directed by Sachin Yardi. Riteish Deshmukh, one of the two leading actors in the first, has agreed to the project and Bengali bombshell Bipasha Basu has been finalized for the first female lead.
However, Angela’s publicist chooses to deny the story and say, “There’s no truth in it.”
When contacted Tanuj Garg, CEO, Balaji Telefilms said, “The leading ladies haven’t been cast yet. We are in conversation with various options and will make a formal announcement once we are ready.”

Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan make one of the most adorable couples of Bollywood and it did come as a surprise for many of their fans when the rumors stating a rift in their marriage started rising now and then in the gossip columns. Some reports even stated that Malaika has shifted to her mom’s place due to irresolvable dispute between the two.
However, Arbaaz vehemently denied any trouble in his marriage and even expressed his anger and disappointed on such baseless rumors.
“Let me clarify one last time that Malaika and me are very much together… gossip mongers and stupid malicious reporting about us should stop,” Arbaaz posted on his Twitter page Thursday.
“We don’t need to validate our relationship constantly because of some stupid news in some gossip column,” he added.
“It would be nice if over-enthusiastic journalists show a little responsibility before carrying personal news about people that is a lie,” he posted.
“Recently read and heard some ridiculous nasty rumours that Malaika and me have split. It’s very disgusting to read such untrue news in media (sic),” he added.
We hope and pray that theirs remains a happy marriage now and ever after!!
Brett Lee, a former team player of Kings XI Punjab, had made the gossip columns go berseck with rumors of his romance with Bollywood actress and co-owner of the IPL team Kings XI Punjab, Preity Zinta, during the first season of IPL when the two were seen exchanging generous hugs and frank display of affection publicly. However, Lee was married to Elizabeth Kemp then, though his marriage was going through a rough phase.
Lee got divorced in 2009 and now once again, the romance between the two seems to have re-surfaced as Preity and Brett were spotted at a nightspot in Mumbai on Tuesday. Reportedly, they
spent around two hours together at Olive but did not leave the joint together as there were paparazzi outside. Lee departed from the main entrance, while Zinta sneaked out from the back door.
Well, Preity has long been single and much eligible. So, it is but natural that a divorced Brett would love to spend time together with this dimpled beauty whom he had once quoted as his favorite actress!!

A spectator reveals, “Zarine walked in at around 1 am with a bunch of friends. There were a few guys and a girl in her gang. Her brother was also present. She was dressed in a white top and a black mini skirt and had a tattoo of a heart inked on her left ankle. One guy in particular stood out as the object of attention.”
The source didn’t get the name of the guy but says “They were very comfortable in each other’s company and were seen cosying up. Zarine and this guy kept showering each other with loving pecks on the cheeks, holding hands and hugging each other. Interestingly, when she hit the dance floor, the DJ played her hit track from Ready, Character Dheela Hai. The man was dressed in blue denims and white shirt with gray stripes and has a spiked hairstyle.”
Zarine denied the incident by saying she was in Goa. When confidently asked she says, “He is a very dear friend. The reason I was affectionate with him was because he arranged the surprise party for me.” But she claimed that they are not dating, “I am very much single.”
