Mugdha Godse in a two-piece bikini for her next

Mugdha Godse has seen a rise in her career in recent times and the girl has some hot revealing scenes in a two-piece bikini for her forthcoming flick which has Bobby Deol as her co-star. Not that she has donned on a sexy two-piece for the first time, given the fact that she comes from modeling and ramp world.

“I wasn’t conscious about wearing a bikini as it was a script requirement. But I had to work really hard to keep my body in shape,” she says adding, “What was tough for me to portray the two looks I have in the film — at certain times it was glamorous while other times it had to be ghastly.”

Directed by Rajeev Virani, Help is slated for an August 13 release.

“It’s a Friday the 13th and considering its subject the makers wanted it to be out on that day,” speaks Mugdha on the release date of the film which has been fixed by the makers on 13th August, 2010.

Mugdha also reflects at the loneliness of the glam girls who live alone in the city and says, “What really helps is to be sorted out in your head. This can go a long way in surviving alone in the city. A lot of time women fall for the wrong man that leads to emotional upheavals. At the spur of the moment, once in a blue moon, things can go wrong. That’s when you need to have a 4 am friend or a family member who you are close to who can knock sense into you.

Your close pals should be able to see the sadness in your happy face. Living alone is tough as you have to do everything yourself.

All this is a learning process that ultimately makes you stronger. This equips you to withstand the pressures that are part and parcel of our profession.”

Viveka Babajee’s suicide shocks the glamour world

This is the next one in tow with the infamous Nafisa Joseph incident. Viveka Babajee, 37, the famous former ‘Kamasutra’ supermodel, hanged herself to death at her plush residence in suburban Mumbai.

Babajee had also starred in ‘Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat’ (2002) and had a bitter break up with writer director Rohit Jugraj, a year ago. Born in Mauritius, she was declared ‘Miss Mauritius’ in 1993 and a supermodel in 1994. She was also the proprietor of ‘Vibgyor Entertainment,’ an event management firm. Babajee’s body was taken to the Cooper Hospital in suburban Mumbai for a post mortem.

The police has found a suicide note, as confirmed by Amitabh Gupta, additional commissioner of police, Western region, who stated, “Investigations are on. Yes, we have found a suicide note.”

Sharmila Khanna, who introduced Viveka to the modelling world in the late ’80s states in a media quote, “I found it strange that Viveka chose not to engage in modelling for the last four to five years. And nobody seems to know why.”

Well, the incident has sent shock waves in the glamour world and once again exposes the dark side behind all the glitter.

Ushoshi Sengupta eyes on Bollywood as her next

Like with many other Miss India winners and contestants, Miss Universe ‘I Am She’ 2010, Ushoshi Sengupta, too, eyes on Bollywood as her ultimate goal.

“This would be a cliche to say that I don’t want to be an actress. I have grown up thinking of being an actress. I want to do a film with Shah Rukh Khan and given a chance, I would like to do a film like ‘Main Hoon Na’,” Sengupta said.

Sengupta will represent India in the Miss Universe 2010 contest to be held August 23 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, and she is proud of this fact..

“Everyone says that this is a journey, but for me this is the destination and trust me, the feeling of reaching this destination is amazing. When I participated in this contest, I was not thinking of the goal, I was thinking that I have to do it. I must and I will,” Sengupta said adding, “I am so proud to believe that I am going to represent India. I got this opportunity and will make the most of it.”

Sengupta is a humanities graduate from Kolkata’s St Xavier’s, and her father is an ex-Indian Air Force officer and is presently working with the State Bank of India while her mother is a homemaker.

Zeenat Amaan said, “I really believe in the cause, I have been my mother`s daughter, we were really close and I was never brought up to feel that I was anything less than a boy. All opportunities were given to me and I may have two sons but I miss having a daughter and I really do believe in the cause and that`s why I am here.”

“We were walking not for fashion but for a cause and for such a contemporary cause and I say this as a contemporary cause because this problem is going on for ages and it is major threat to all of us but in terms of combating it, in terms of fighting it we have yet to do a lot,” said Amrita Rao.

She got critical acclaim for ‘Fashion’ and then delivered a hit with ‘All The Best’ and now she is ready once again with another project, this time a horror movie titled ‘Help’ opposite Bobby Deol. Directed by debutant director Rajeev Virani and produced by Sanjay Ahluwalia, the movie was shot in Mauritius.

Both Bobby and Mugdha are satisfied and pleased with the way the movie has turned out. Bobby says, “The film has been beautifully shot and must say it’s the finest horror that one will see. It’s immensely gruesome and a kind of horror, which gives you goosebumps. Help will take horror to another level.”

Mugdha, too, is excited to be a part of a horror flick. She says, “I have done glamorous roles and de-glam roles in the past. But this is like a role of a lifetime and I had to prepare real hard. My character had to be really authenticated and to admit, it was a painful experience too. Then the makeup was such that it gave me jitters. The prosthetic makeup has been done by Vikram Gaikwad, who has done makeup for films like 3 Idiots, Kaminey, Ishqiya, Delhi 6, etc.’’

Jacqueline Fernandez to re-create the magic of ‘Laawaris’

Eros International and Sajid Nadiadwala are coming up with ‘Housefull’ this summer which is supposed to be re- weaving the magic of hit film ‘Laawaris’ with a remix of the hit “Apni Toh Jaise Taise” featuring none other than hot Jacqueline Fernandez with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh.

Jacqueline Fernandez learns Hindi for ‘Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’

Sri Lankan Jacqueline Fernandez a.k.a Jackie made her Bollywood debut with ‘Aladdin’ opposite Riteish Deshmukh. Once, again she has paired with Riteish to play the role of an alien in ‘Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’.

Jacqueline is not quite comfortable with Hindi. She was told that her voice would be dubbed by a professional once the film reaches the editing stage.

“Exactly, that was the plan”, recollects Jackie, “I had shot all of my scenes while being very comfortable all this while that there would anyways be dubbing happening at a later stage. I just concentrated on getting my act right without really worrying much about pronunciation, spacing etc. because that was far from being perfect.”

However, since her character in the film is that of an alien, director Milap felt that her uncomfortable Hindi would just go right with her character and so he suggested Jackie to dub for her dialogues.

“Being shocked would be an understatement”, laughs Jackie in mock horror, “I pleaded Milap to get someone else on board in the dubbing studio. This is just my second film and I felt that I would ruin it all if audience hears me speaking Hindi in my own sweet accent.

Talking about her dubbing experience, Jackie says, “I wanted to kill myself. Period”, adds Jackie in an animated tone, “I felt that this was the end of it. I wanted to go back to the shoot and re-do everything that I had done as far as mouthing dialogues was concerned.

Come on, I have no qualms in admitting that Hindi is not something that comes naturally to me. But then what can one say when your director feels that it is this ‘not so natural’ trait that he wanted in his ‘alien’ character.”

Mugdha Godse shoots for 22 hours at a stretch

So much so has been her dedication that she shot for 22 hours at a stretch for a promotional song for this movie and that too without a break. What was commendable is that fact that she did not complaint even once. She was professional and was determined to complete the shoot on time.

Riteish Deshmukh is Jacqueline Fernandez’s new teacher

Milap Zaveri who has impressed everyone with his writing skills is making his directorial debut with ‘Jaane Kahan Se aayi Hai’ starring Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ruslaan Mumtaz and Sonal Sehgal.

With this film, former Miss Sri Lanka Jacqueline Fernandez is all set to impress her fans with her fluent Marathi and the person who has taken up the responsibility of traching the beauty with the language is her co-star Riteish Deshmukh, who is taking up the opportunity between shoots to teach Jackie his mother tongue.
