Priyanka Chopra interacted with the media and revealed that her parents got really emotional after hearing this song and that it was her father’s dream to see her as a singer.
No sooner had she launched her single, the song started trending instantly on twitter as people were hearing it live from the event. The social networking sites have been abuzz with praises for PC’s singing talents.

“Priyanka is going to make India very very proud. I have heard the song and absolutely love it,” said Ranbir, her ‘Barfi’ co-star, adding that he knows and remembers the lyrics too.
Priyanka launched her maiden song on Thursday, but she was “feeling the jitters”. She said that her voice is “completely lost” due to back-to-back interviews for her forthcoming film Barfi. “But all said and done, I feel like my first film has just released,” she said. “Forget singing professionally, I never felt that I could even sing well,” she added.

Dibakar Banerjee is leaving no stones unturned in creating the right hype and right interest in his forthcoming ‘Shanghai’. If the look and feel of the lead stars Emraan Hashmi and Abhay Deol in the first look trailer was not enough and even before the controversy around the song ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ from the film could cool down, the makers of the film have revealed another highlight of their film. They have revealed their item girl who will sizzle in the item number ‘Imported Kamariya’.
Talking about Scarlett Mellish Wilson, the girl is from Britain and though she has already done quite a few commercials, this will be the first time she will appear on bigger screen.
Diakar Banerjee is all praises for the sensuous beauty and says, “Someone recommended Scarlett for our item song. I couldn’t believe how well she danced! Scarlett is by far one of the best in the Bollywood dance form I’ve seen. Usually when foreigners do Bollywood dancing, there’s a certain amount of stiffness in their movements. Not Scarlett. She takes to the rhythms as though she was born to the desi beat”.

Ever since ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ stole the limelight from Sonakshi Sinha’s debut vehicle ‘Dabangg’, the girl has been clearly stating her wishes to do a sizzling item number. Finally, her wish is being granted as she is doing an item number in Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and guess what! The song has been titled ‘Chikni Kamar’.
As the name suggests the song follows the essence of Katrina Kaif’s item number Chikni Chameli and as Sonakshi calls it, the number is a “a complete masaledaar song”.
Sonakshi’s moves for the song will be choreographed by Vishnu. However, unlike Katrina Kaif, who shed kilos to get in shape for ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ Sonakshi has not been asked to lose weight. “Prabhu Deva and everyone else I’m working with like me the way I am..” claims Sonakshi.
The song will also feature Akshay Kumar and will be soon shot in Hampi.

The sensuous lady, who rocked the nation as Munni in ‘Dabangg’ will take the avatar of a modern day anarkali in the song which is titled ‘Anarkali Disco Chali’ and is choreographed by Farah Khan. The full song promo shows Malaika in four different looks with she changing over to short skimpy dresses from her traditional anarkali look.
The song also has four funny charactersalong with Malaika namely Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, John Abraham and Shreyas Talpade, and two cool papas (Mithun Chakraborty and Boman Irani).
On being compared with the Munni song, Malaika says, “Munni is iconic, so I wouldn’t like to draw any comparisons and would request others to do the same. But, at the same time, Anarkali Disco Chali is Kick A**.”

Ameesha Patel who debuted as the sweet girl next door with megahit ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ went for a sexy makeover in ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ but the film failed to create magic at the box office. The girl who is going downhill in her career has quite a handful of offers to look forward to. She is a part of ‘Race 2’ and is also playing the lead role of a high profile prostitute in another project.
Ameesha impressed both fans and producers alike by her fabulous performance at the recent Apsara awards. The performance was definitely commendable given the fact that she managed the dance with one day’s practice on seductive numbers like Chikni Chameli and Ooh La La on the stage. Praises came showering on her both from the organisers at Wizcraft and even Yash Chopra personally.
As such, the actress is now very keen to do item numbers in not only her own productions but also for other banners.
The actress is also getting praises for her looks and well-maintained figure. The directors of Race – Abbas and Mustan – recently told her that when they saw her on the sets of Race 2, they felt that she had done a wonderful job of maintaining herself over the years.
