This was the grandest welcome Bollywood could have offered to any heroine on her comeback. The entire Bollywood fraternity turned up for Sridevi’s ‘English Vinglish’ premiere and she was basking in praises as the attendees ended up applauding after the screening of the film.
The premiere was attended by Madhuri Dixit, Bipasha Basu, Vidya Balan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Shilpa Shetty, Zarine Khan, Ayesha Takia, Yash Chopra, Jaya Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, and many others from the TV and film industry.
Sridevi, who attended the premiere with hubby Boney Kapoor and family, R Balki and director Gauri Shinde, Sridevi interacted with the media and said: “I am not at all nervous; I am more than just exited! I feel like I am on top of the world! This is a special day for me, my husband and my children! And I would like to thank all those who have come here, and I really hope they like the film!”
Her 15-year-old daughter Jhanvi said: “I am so proud she is the coolest mom.”

The multi-starrer ‘Players’ will hit the screens tomorrow on January 6, thus being the first release of this year. The team of the movie were present at its Dubai premiere looking extraordinarily eye-catching. The male cast were in black tuxedos and the female were in white. Sonam Kapoor donned on a J P Gaultier gown while Bipasha Basu went for a white strapless gown with one leg exposed.
The cast posted their experience on their social networking site. Bips wrote, “My day today in Dubai was Amazing! People of Dubai are so warm. Big groups of people, all sang Happy Birthday to me wherever we went! Very touched!”
Abhishek Bachchan tweeted, “Dubai, thank you for the love and positivity.”
The movie has Abhishek play a guy who is a Chartered Accountant by day and a master-thief by night. Sonam plays a computer expert with a Masters in Ethical Hacking. Bipasha plays an automobile expert and Neil Nitin Mukesh a master hacker.
‘Mausam’ which is set to be released this Friday had a grand premiere which boasted of a guest list which comprised of who’s who of the industry. However, the star who was conspicuous by her absence was Shahid’s ex Kareena Kapoor. This becomes all the more obvious owing to the fact that Shahid and Pankaj decided the guestlist. They personally called or texted everyone from the industry.

With ‘Ready’ gearing up for its release, the excitement could be felt at its private screening where Bollywood beauties put on their best foot forward in glamour and glitter. Sonakshi Sinha, Zarine Khan, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora- all looked as stylish and beautiful as ever at the screening.
Sonakshi Sinha opted for simple and casual yet evergreen blue denims teamed it up with a knotted blue check shirt. Salman Khan’s discovery and Katrina Kaif’s look alike, the Character Dheela girl Zarine Khan, too, went with a simple and comfortable tee.
Hot Malaika Arora Khan was spotted with her hubby Arbaaz Khan putting a finger to all baseless rumors about turmoil in their marriage. After premiering successfully in New York, the Roshans’ much awaited mega budgeted film ‘Kites’ had a glittering premiere in London at Leicester Square. The entire Roshan clan was there to celebrate the moment and they candidly admitted that they were quite anxious to see the fate of the film.
Among those present were Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Sussanne Roshan, Rakesh Roshan and wife Pinky Roshan, Anurag Kashyap and wife, Rajesh Roshan and wife, plus senior members of the Reliance Big Pictures team.
After the New York premiere on Monday evening, the team had to fly off for the London premiere but that’s when the ash clouds struck again and almost all the flights to Europe had to be cancelled or diverted. It was a nail biting moment for the team who finally made it successfully to London.
Sanjeev Lamba, the CEO of Reliance Big Picture, said, “Flights carrying all of us landed on Monday evening. We were in American and British Airlines. Both landed safely and on time.”

The premiere of both ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘Rann’ was held on Jaunary 28th. Vidya Balan walked in hand-in-hand with Arshad Warsi at the premiere. Despite all controversy, surrounded around Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor starer movie Kurbaan, whether it be a poster issue or any other dispute however its premier would be attended by a very big celebrity, that to a greater extent would save movie from unnecessary propaganda as started by Shiv Sena likes. As according to some resources that Rensil D’ Silva would hold an exclusive premier of the movie for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Kurbaan is the movie that shows up terrorism as mixed up with element of love. According to Kurbaan team it shows terrorism in completely new light and perspective.

A lot is being expected from Sanjay Gupta’s psychological thriller ‘Acid Factory’. Though the script is a copy from Hollywood it promises to be a nail-biting crime thriller. The story of the film revolves around the protagonists trapped in a chemical factory with the best part of the plot being that they don’t remember a thing. Suffering from temporary amnesia, all six have forgotten their identities and how they got there. They get their clues from phone calls made by a mob boss (Irrfan Khan) and wonder who among them is their friend or the foe.
The star cast of the film, which includes Irrfan Khan, Dino Moreo, Dia Mirza, and Aftab Shivdasani, looked confident about the film as they smiled and shone at the movie’s premiere in Mumbai. Check out a few shots from the event.

The premiere of ‘The International’ at Cinemax in Mubai became a star studded event as the gorgeous and cute couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor came in with their hands in hand. Saif in his semi-casual look and Kareena with a pink top and faded jeans added to a stole round her neck looked fabulous. The couple looked truly in bliss of love.
