The premier party for one of the biggest Hollywood movie of this year was flocked by a number of Bollywood favorites in Tuesday party in Mumbai including Sameera Reddy, Adhyayan Suman, etc. Watch them in their own personal style…

Never before has there been such a star studded premiere for any newcomer in the Bollywood industry. Friend or foe, Uncle Aamir Khan has them all for the premiere of his nephew’s debut venture ‘Jaane Tu….Ya Jaane Na’. You name them and you have them. The bigwigs attending the premier include Big B, Salman Khan, Sri Devi, Boney Kapoor, Shamita Shetty, Anil and Sonam Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Raveena, Tabu, Jiah Khan, Minisha Lamba and of course Aamir-Kiran Khan and the lead pair of the film- Genelia and Imran.

The film, by Aamir Khan Productions and directed by Abbas Tyrewala, is about love. It shows the parents who are ‘cool’ and play scrabbles, parents who are bitter and on the verge of breakup, single, hardworking mothers, corrupt, comical cops, difficult brothers, and friends who just hang around and hang around and gang around strumming guitars and getting drunk on cola.

Finally this week will see the release of two most awaited projects marking the debut of two awaited star kids- Harman Baweja and Imran Khan. The Global Premiere of Harman Baweja’s debut ‘Love Story 2050’ was held at Cine World Feltham in London on July 2, 2008. The Premiere was hosted by the London distribution office of BIG Pictures and the stars adding glitter and glamour to the premiere were the debutant male lead, Harman Baweja, the leading lady, Priyanka Chopra, the versatile Boman Irani and the Producer-Director, Harry Baweja. With Harman’s dancing skills already crating stirs with the promos of the songs from the film, the release will finally decide how much of the acting material he possesses.

Last weekend was very special for Bangkok, the capital of Thailand as all the best of Bollywood landed at Thai capital to celebrate IIFA 2008 awards. Some of them tried their austere with the ramp, stars like, Deepika, Ranbir, Kareena, Akshay, Zayed Khan and Fardeen Khan walked the ramp into an event of IIFA fashion show. The premiere of ‘Sex and the City’ on June 4, 2008, held at PVR, Juhu, Mumbai, witnessed the presence of several Bollywood stars. There was an array of celebs present there, all in groups, to watch the premiere. Among the many present were Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora Khan, Neha Dhupia, Maushmi Udeshi, Shenaz Treasurywala, Simone Singh, Rajat Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon,Karan Johar and so on and so forth.

Friday saw the release of Bhatt camp’s ‘Jannat’ which revolves around match fixing in cricket. The makers of the film went on for a pre-release bash for the cast and crew of the film on May 15. Also celebrating the debutante actress Sonal Chauhan’s birthday, the party continued till late night.

It was here that Emraan brought in his creativity. Attired in a cool white T-shirt, Emraan had eyeballs popping due to the funky slogan on his T-shirt which read “IFL. - Indian Fixed League- starts May 16”. Now, that is a real unique way of drawing attention both to oneself and to the film!

She was given a red carpet welcome by the organizers at Cannes Film Festival, who always give special attention to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She also attended “Kung Fu Panda” Premiere on 15th may.

What more could a new comer making his debut in the glittering world of cinema ask for than that the premiere of his first film being graced by none other than the ‘Dhak-Dhak’ girl Madhuri Dixit.

Clad in a blue sari, accompanied by hubby Nene and looking as gorgeous as ever, Madhuri made a special appearance at the Cinemax theatre for the premiere of Mithun’s son Mimoh’s debut movie ‘Jimmy’.

Also present were Mithun Chakraborty’s good friends Danny Denzongpa and Govinda. Bappi Lahiri’s son Bappa, who makes his musical debut with ‘Jimmy’ was there with his family and gal Karishma Tanna. Other who added glamour spark to the event were Sunil Shetty, Javed Jaffrey, Samir Dattani, Hard Kaur, Meet Brothers, Mrinilani Sharma and film critic Anupama Chopra.

Mallika Sherawat is in news again, this time for her work though. The girl who is doing ‘Dasavatharam’ with Kamal Hassan will be doing a sexy pole dance in the film. Mallika
plays an intelligence agency operative, who in a sequence will take the of a pole dancer to titillate Kamal Hassan in a bar.

Mallika attired in a black lingerie with silver netting and a feathery headgear with dim light in the background and a sole spotlight on her will gyrate to the moves of choreographer Brinda (who also choreographed Mallika’s Turkish item ‘Maiyya Maiyya’ in ‘Guru’ ). The song was shot within two days.

‘Dasavatharam’ has Kamal Hassan in ten different roles. The movie’s music was recently released by Jackie Chan.

Mallika was very excited to perform this new dance form which she has never tried before. She even did a thorough research about the dance, consulted many books and watched videos of expert polo dancers.

Choreographer Brinda describes the song in the following words, “The song has been framed to seduce Kamal Hassan where Mallika will be heading some other dancers in the background.”

The premiere of the much awaited ‘Shaurya’ was held at PVR, Juhu in Mumbai. The array of stars included Ranbir Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Minisha Lamba, Kay Kay Menon, Samar Khan, Javed and Shabana Akhtar, Mita vashisht, and many more. However, the star who stole the limelight was Ranbir Kapoor who got enough clicks from the cameramen and media.

‘Shaurya‘ revolves around a few characters, Javed, Siddhant, Kavya, Akash and Birgadier Pratap. Captain Javed Khan is charged with mutiny, treason and killing a fellow officer. But when he is held for court martial, he refuses to speak in his defense. What is the secret behind his silence is unfolded as the film races ahead.

‘Shaurya’ stars Rahul Bose as Siddhanta, Minissha Lamba as Kavya, Kay Kay Menon as Brigadier Pratap and Javed Jaffrey as Akash. The film is directed by Samar Khan.
