After premiering successfully in New York, the Roshans’ much awaited mega budgeted film ‘Kites’ had a glittering premiere in London at Leicester Square. The entire Roshan clan was there to celebrate the moment and they candidly admitted that they were quite anxious to see the fate of the film.
Among those present were Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Sussanne Roshan, Rakesh Roshan and wife Pinky Roshan, Anurag Kashyap and wife, Rajesh Roshan and wife, plus senior members of the Reliance Big Pictures team.
After the New York premiere on Monday evening, the team had to fly off for the London premiere but that’s when the ash clouds struck again and almost all the flights to Europe had to be cancelled or diverted. It was a nail biting moment for the team who finally made it successfully to London.
Sanjeev Lamba, the CEO of Reliance Big Picture, said, “Flights carrying all of us landed on Monday evening. We were in American and British Airlines. Both landed safely and on time.”

The premiere of both ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘Rann’ was held on Jaunary 28th. Vidya Balan walked in hand-in-hand with Arshad Warsi at the premiere. They created a picture perfect pair as Vidya dazzled in a rust colored saree from Sabyasachi. Abhishek Chaubey, who makes a directorial debut with this movie was also present at the premiere.
The premiere of ‘Rann’ was held in Delhi and Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan joined in to usher their best wishes to their “paa” Amitabh Bachchan at the premiere. Also present were Gul Panag and director Vishal Bharadwaj, who spoke to the media about his movie.
Despite all controversy, surrounded around Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor starer movie Kurbaan, whether it be a poster issue or any other dispute however its premier would be attended by a very big celebrity, that to a greater extent would save movie from unnecessary propaganda as started by Shiv Sena likes. As according to some resources that Rensil D’ Silva would hold an exclusive premier of the movie for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Kurbaan is the movie that shows up terrorism as mixed up with element of love. According to Kurbaan team it shows terrorism in completely new light and perspective.
This Diwali, two big projects hit the screens and the actors of both the films went out of their way to meet their fans in person and get the first hand review of the audience. But, it is definitely very clear that Ajay Devgan’s ‘All the Best’ has defeated the big budgeted and over-hyped ‘Blue’ in gaining bucks at the box-office.
Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif were there for the ‘Blue’ movie screening and Akshay was aware of the fact that the film wasn’t appreciated much by the viewers. He said, ”Critics haven’t liked it, some have, some haven’t but every individual has its own liking or disliking, said Akshay Kumar.”
‘All The Best’ has been liked by both the critics and viewers alike. Ajay Devgan was there at Cinemax on Sunday evening along with Bipasha Basu, dressed in a sexy blue outfit, director Rohit Shetty and the comedians Sanjay Mishra, Atul Parchure and Mukesh Tiwari.

A lot is being expected from Sanjay Gupta’s psychological thriller ‘Acid Factory’. Though the script is a copy from Hollywood it promises to be a nail-biting crime thriller. The story of the film revolves around the protagonists trapped in a chemical factory with the best part of the plot being that they don’t remember a thing. Suffering from temporary amnesia, all six have forgotten their identities and how they got there. They get their clues from phone calls made by a mob boss (Irrfan Khan) and wonder who among them is their friend or the foe.
The star cast of the film, which includes Irrfan Khan, Dino Moreo, Dia Mirza, and Aftab Shivdasani, looked confident about the film as they smiled and shone at the movie’s premiere in Mumbai. Check out a few shots from the event.

Kambakkht Ishq that is expected to do big as assured by its makers, however, had a star studded press meet attended by celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and no doubt big and tall Akshay Kumar was also at the meet to promote the movie. The premiere of ‘The International’ at Cinemax in Mubai became a star studded event as the gorgeous and cute couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor came in with their hands in hand. Saif in his semi-casual look and Kareena with a pink top and faded jeans added to a stole round her neck looked fabulous. The couple looked truly in bliss of love. It had been a very hectic day for Aishwarya Rai during her schedule on Berlin Premiere of “The Pink Panther 2†on February 13, Friday. After the routine media conference in the morning, Aishwarya really got herself prepared for the afternoon premier of the launch of the movie in pink gown and arrived on the dais along with co-actors like Steve Martin and Jean Reno at the Berlinale Palast.
The storyline of the movie rotates around Inspector Jacques Clouseau that makes a group with International detectives to check an International Thief from stealing artifacts of historical importance.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s much awaited Hollywood movie, ‘Pink Panther 2’ premiered in the US on Tuesday and the Bachchan family was in full attendance to support their ‘Bahu’ as looking gorgeous in black, she walked the PINK carpet with husband Abhishek. Abhishek complemented his better half in a black suit and sporting a new lok for Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’. The couple in black surely made the heads turn.
Pink Panther 2 has Ash playing detective Sonia alongside Alfred Molina, while Steve Martin plays a bumbling French police detective Jacques Clouseau. French actor Jean Reno plays Ponton, Steve Martin’s partner in the movie. Actor, writer and producer Harald Zwart has directed Pink Panther 2.
The premier of “Victory†had all the support of the well wishers of Harman who yet has to come up from the setback from the failure of Love Story 2050. According to sources “Harman Baweja†rang Priyanka Chopra while she was busy in a shooting for a movie in Jodhpur, though she accepted the invitation as she was scheduled for an ad shooting in Mumbai. It was really very nice to see that Priyanka and Harman patched up their differences and Priyanka attended the premiere. Lets hope that film may fare well on the screen.
The premiere of the much awaited horror flick ‘Raaz- The mystery continues’ was held at Fame Adlabs in Mumbai on 24th January. The event was attended by the cast and the makers of the film including Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt, Adhyayan Suman, Kangana Ranaut, Mohit Suri and also Soha Ali Khan. Kangana looked gorgeous as ever in her unconventional backless attire with the glow on her face heightened by the fact that she had her current love Adhyayan next to her.
