Katrina Kaif is all set to grab the tag of the ‘Item Queen’ of Bollywood. She rocked the nation with her ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ and is also gathering praises for her moves and sensuality in ‘Chikni Chameli’

But this is not all for her. The actress is all set to move a step further with item number in her forthecoming flick Dhoom 3 where she will be joined by the ace actor Aamir Khan. The item song was not part of the original script but was added later on, to cash in with the growing popularity and craze for item numbers. Katrina and Aamir have never worked together before hand with Aamir who does not excel in the art of dancing, some preparation is needed.

The choreographer for this rocking item number is yet to be finalized and things will start moving only after the first schedule of Dhoom 3 starts in March, in Mumbai.

After Emraan Hashmi, Hrithik Roshan seems to have emerged as the new kisser boy of our tinsel town. He has already locked lips with Aishwarya Rai, Barbara Mori and Katrina Kaif and going by the newly released stills from the forthcoming ‘Agneepath’, the actor seems to have shared some intimate scenes with Priyanka Chopra as well, which could include some smooching scenes too.

The images from the movie have Hrithik and Priyanka almost come within a whisker of locking lips. Whether things go a step ahead or not, will be clear only by the January end when Agneepath, produced by Karan Johar, will hit the theatres.

Much is being anticipated and expected from the remake of the superhit film ‘Agneepath’. The original Agneepath was made in 1990 under the direction of Mukul Anand and starred Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavi, and Rohini Hattangadi, with Danny Dengzongpa as the villain. It was produced by Yash Johar.

The remake of the film is being directed by Karan Johar’s former assistant Karan Malhotra. It will reportedly be radically different from the original film. But the tagline-”Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, poora naam, baap ka naam Deenanath Chauhan, gaon Mandwa.” remains the same.

Hrithik Roshan has stepped into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra will play his love interest. The character played by Mithun Chakraborty has been totally done away with in the remake. The role of the villain Kanch Cheena played by Danny in the role will now be done by Sanjay Dutt. SRK had tried every possible move to promote his ambitious project ‘Ra.One’ and with the film doing fairly well this Diwali, the actor has now his eyes set on his next mega project ‘Don 2’. SRK’s Twitter account is all about ‘Don 2’ these days and he tweeted to Priyanka Chopra praising her feminity as “thanx Roma, here’s to ur beauty, ur voice, all those things & happy mood swings. please please keep me as ur songwriter. lov.”

Priyanka Chopra, who plays the female lead, Roma, in Don 2, has made her presence felt in the first look poster of the flick where she looks sensuous as she sits cross legged with SRK. Priyanka is at present in US busy recording her debut album and will return to India only to start the promotional campaign of Don 2.

After ‘Rascals’, Sanjay Dutt has all plans in place for his next production, ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake to go on floors in December. There had been a lot of speculations about who would be cast as the female lead and the guesses included the likes of Kajol, Vidya Balan, Rani Mukherjee, Aishwarya and even Madhuri Dixit. However, it is finally Karisma Kapoor who has landed up with the role. Karisma is making a comeback on the silver screen with ‘Dangerous Ishq’. Says Sanjay Dutt, “Satte Pe Satta is an iconic film. It was a trendsetter in the 1980s. Sir (Amitabh Bachchan) played the dual roles of Ravi and Babu so well, if I can even manage five per cent of what he did, I’ll be a happy man.”

Soham Shah will direct the film and Sanjay plans to request Big B himself to intorduce the characters in the movie.

Priyanka Chopra has been very busy these days with the shoot of her films ‘Don 2’ and ‘Agneepath’ remake. However, she managed to take out time to head to Ajmer and pray at the holy shrine of Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisty Dargah. Tweeting about the visit an excited Priyanka said, “On my way to visit Ajmer Sharif with my friends. Have so much to be grateful for.”

Priyanka was also spotted this Saturday at the Eden Gardens here to watch the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)- Kings XI Punjab match. She sat beside KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan.

“Oh, I am really enjoying the game. KKR is doing great,” she said.

‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’ had created stirs 22 years back as it exuded the essence of unity and nationality of India. This year, as India completes 60 years of its Republic, the song has been re-created as ‘Phir Mile Sur’ featuring more than 60 known personalities, including actors Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Juhi Chawla. In all, the song features 22 superstars, 18 musicians, 13 artistes and singers and 15 other known personalities. The song has been composed by jazz artists Louis and Geno Banks.

The earlier version of the song featured vocalists Bhimsen Joshi and Balamurali Krishna, sitar maestro Ravi Shankar, tabla maestros Allah Rakha and Zakir Hussain, sportsmen Narendra Hirwani and Prakash Padukone and film personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Lata Mangeshkar, Mithun Chakraborty, Jeetendra, Hema Malini, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Kamal Haasan, Sharmila Tagore, Tanuja and Waheeda Rehman.

Amitabh Bachchan, who released this album, expresses his gratitude and says, “I was part of the old Mile Sur… and now yet again I am fortunate to be part of this one. We have integrated many tunes together and that’s precisely the message of this video.” Featuring in the video is well known musician Sivamani, who says, “I wanted to do something unique for this so I started playing drums on water. This has never been done by any artist.

She made her debut with none other than the superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Nishabd’. Quite promising though she seemed, Jiah Khan quietly went quiet for sometime but she is yet again in the news, this time, for being on the cover of the popular UK glossy magazine ‘Xeher’, who had carried out an exclusive shoot in Mumbai for their current Winter-Spring edition with the Jiah. Meanwhile the girl is all geared up for her forthcoming film ‘Ghajini’, opposite Aamir Khan.

Jiah stated that this was one of the most beautiful shoots she had ever done. The idea of the shoot was to show that Jiah is not at all a rebel, as she is made out to be!

With Himesh Reshammiya playing Rishi Kapoor in the ‘Karz’ remake, here is a new addition to the list of star cast. Sushmita Sen has been signed to play the greyer shades in the film, that is the role of Simi Garewal.

For those who came in late, T-Series have acquired the remake rights of Subhash Ghai’s classic. The film will be directed by Satish Kaushik. The search is on for the lucky gal who will play Tina Munim’s role.
