With Mallika Sherawat pinning all her hopes on the forthcoming ‘Hisss’, she is making the most out of it with getting photo shoots done with scaly prints on her arms. Her last one was posted on twitter where she appeared topless with scaly snake designs on her hands and now Sherawat has done a hot and sexy new lingerie photo shoot for International Bunker Hill magazine’s latest issue August 2010 month. The expectation levels for Aamir Khan have been soaring higher with every hit he delivers at box-office. His ‘3 Idiots’ was a rage at the box-office and though the actor is now busy with the release of his next venture ‘Peepli Live’, he now intends to do something which takes him a level higher than his previous hits and is yet dynamic, different and challenging at the same time.
Reports have it that Aamir Khan is considering to work with Yash Chopra with his ambitious multi-starrer ‘Dhoom 3’ where he may play a villain with a much stylized look. Recently, Aamir met Aditya Chopra, who gave the actor a brief narration of the role in the film and Aamir apparently loved what he heard. There will be a sitting for the script narration on August 13 when he returns from Melbourne and Delhi.”
‘Dhoom 3’ has always given a new frame, recognition and identity to its villains, be it John Abraham in ‘Dhoom’ and Hrithik Roshan in ‘Dhoom 2’. If this works out with Aamir Khan, the project will be beneficial to both the makers and the star himself. The third sequel to ‘Dhoom’ will be directed by Sanjay Gandhvi.
Director Anurag Basu came up with the strong and powerful subject in ‘Silence’, but the movie has been suffering delay due to the starry issues of the female actresses. Earlier Priyanka Chopra was supposed to play the lead role in the film, but when Asin and Katrina Kaif who were earlier chosen for equally pivotal roles in the film chose to opt out fearing that they would be sidelines with Priyanka playing the plum role, the project’s future seemed to be at dismay. It was then that Piggie Chops decided to take action as she felt that ‘Silence’ is too powerful a project to be stalled. So, she took a step which no leading actress would dare to and she decided to swap roles and go for the one which was comparatively weaker so that the project moved further.
Now, PC essays a mentally challenged person alongside Ranbir Kapoor, who enacts a deaf mute guy in the hero and director Anurag Basu intends to take Priyanka Chopra to a mental asylum to help her get into the skin of her role.
Confirming the news, Priyanka said, “I will start shooting for Anurag’s Silence in January 2011 after completing Don 2. I am preparing for my role. I need to undergo training to perform the role perfectly. I am happy to get such a challenging role, which many of my age do not get.”
It was their sizzling chemistry together that was the major drive in making the film ‘New York’ a success at the box-office. Talking about John Abraham and Katrina Kaif, the two are coming together once again for director Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s remake of the Tamil hit Kaakha Kaakha with Nishikant Kamat (of Mumbai Meri Jaan) as its director and the story line being an action thriller with John playing a dedicated cop bent on ending crime in his city.
Not only this, they will be seen together in ‘Dostana 2’ also. Though the shooting of this flick was set to start this year, it has now been put off till 2011 because director Tarun Mansukhani isn’t happy with the script.
Never mind…. The couple will now re-create their magic on-screen under Vipul Shah’s crisp direction.
Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra had last appeared together on-screen five years back with ‘Krrish’ and the duo exuded excellent chemistry together. Now, Dharma Productions has decided to bring the two together for the remake of ‘Agneepath’ where Hrithik is to play the lead role of Vijay Dinanath Chavan.
‘Angeepath’ will be directed by debutant Karan Malhotra and Priyanka will play Hrithik’s love interest played by Madhavi in the original film.
It may be mentioned here that the original ‘Agneepath’ was produced by Karan Johar’s father Yash Johar. Karan has made just a few minor changes to the script, to suit the contemporary time. However, the dialogues originally penned down by Kader Khan will remain the same. Sadly, Mithun Chakraborty’s south Indian character which was a landmark role in itself will be missing in this remake.
There is no denying the fact that Katrina Kaif’s beauty is so bewitching and magical that she leaves everyone speechless no matter what part of world she is in. Recently, the pretty actress was in Spain for the shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Mile Na Dobara’. The movie has quite a few sequences being shot there.

The hill station has sprung to life once again with the crew of the Jagmohan Mundhra directed NAUGHTY @ FORTY pepping up Manali as they reached here on Sunday with the pretty and young Yuvika Chaudhari. The crew will shoot at various locations including the famous scenic spots of Manali and it’s surroundings, like Solang Valley, snow laden Marhi, the dangerous Rohtang Pass, the incredible Rahla fall, heritage village Nagger along with the extremely picturesque Kothi and Gulaba valley.
With as long as twenty days’ shooting schedule, the locals and tourists of Manali will sure get a taste of filmdom up, close and personal.
The promos of Dabangg are doing rounds on the smaller screen and must say they are creating stirs. Set in Uttar Pradesh, Dabangg is the story of a corrupt police officer Chulbul Pandey, played by Salman Khan. Making debut with the film is Sonakshi Sinha, the daughter of veteran actor and politician Sharughan Sinha. It was Salman who convinced her parents to let her act in Bollywood. The movie has been produced by Salman Khan’s younger brother Arbaaz Khan and directed by Anurag Kashyap’s younger brother Abhinav Kashyap.

Talking about Neil Nitin Mukesh, the young star does not seem to be very comfortable with smooch scenes in his film. Be it his first director Sriram Raghavan, who could not convince Neil to kiss Rimi Sen, or his second film, Tera Kya Hoga Johnny, director Sudhir Mishra where Neil was asked to kiss Shahana Goswami and then again his director for ‘Jail’ where the actor refused to lock lips with Mugdha Godse even during a passionate love making scene- all his directors failed to convince Neil to do the act.
However, Pradeep Sarkar, the director of ‘Lafangey Parindey’, made his point clear to Neil that he had to smooch Deepika Padukone for the film as per the demand of the script. Well, so Neil would now be seen smooching Deepika in ‘LP’, and how, we have the little birdie informing us that the lip-lock surely is pretty long and intense. A source from the set said it was a long, torrid smooch comparable in intensity and duration to any sensational smooch scene so far. And guess what! Neil was nervous!

Even as ‘Aisha’ is all abuzz about Sonam Kapoor, there is another beauty who is set to making her presence felt with the movie. This is Amrita Puri who is seen in the promos of the flick as the one moaning in pain at a salon, as even getting her eyebrows shaped is alien to her!
In the movie, Amrita plays Shefali Thakkur, a simple girl who gets transformed into a chic modern female with Aisha’s (Sonam Kapoor) help.
Amrita comes from a modeling background and has also done some plays. Her father, Aditya Puri is the HDFC Bank head honcho and Amrita has completed her studies from Bombay Scottish School and St Xavier’s College.
“Acting is not considered a long-term career option and there is no security. Dad did have his reservations, but after completing my postgraduation in mass communications with a stint in an ad agency, when I told him that I wanted to follow my dream, he said:, ‘If you are hellbent on it, follow it, ‘” says Amrita.
Aisha came her way through an SMS. “A friend of mine, I had done theatre with, forwarded me a message informing me about the auditions for this particular character. I found it appealing and sent my portfolio photos to the casting agent. After a round of auditions, I was on! This was followed by grooming sessions in voice, diction and dialogue delivery.”
Talking about the project and her role in it, Puri says, “I am the film’s second lead and did think about it. But the role is such that wherever there is Aisha, there is Shefali. So I had no apprehensions about doing the film.”
“My family and friends are excited to see me on screen. Aisha is my first step in Bollywood and I hope to take many more such steps in it,” she adds.
