Manisha Koirala may have disappeared from the silver screen but this Nepali beauty is having a great time with her husband, Nepalese businessman Samrat Dahal in Sievi, Finland where the couple is spending their honeymoon. Manisha had always wanted to go to Europe for her honeymoon and had been quoted saying, “I’ve planned a dream honeymoon for us. I’ve been to the European destinations before as a single woman. This time it’s different.”
Talking about the after marriage feelings, a nostalgic Manisha told, “I feel different now that I’m married. It’s as though I’ve found my bearings in life. There’s a new sense of belonging, as though there’s someone constantly there to support me, to hold me when I fall. I’ve never felt this way before.”
Manisha also expressed her desire to stay in touch with Mumbai even after her marriage but she added that she will do only selected movies and would not be interested in decorative roles.

Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni finally tied the sacred marital knot with Kolkata girl and childhood friend Sakshi Rawat on July 4 in a well-guarded resort in the foothills of the Himalayas at Almora in Uttarakhand, India. Wedding ceremony was held about 4pm on Sunday. The wedding venue, Vishranti Resort and Spa, is owned by Raje. Sakshi is a 23-year old hotel management student.
The wedding affair was very private and the only high profile guests were ICC chief Sharad Pawar, BCCI President Shashank Manohar, earlier Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje, actor John Abraham, and Bollywood director Farah Khan. Fellow cricketers RP Singh, Rohit Sharma, Ashish Nehra, Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina were present at the wedding. The over 100 policemen were posted at the gates to make sure there was no intruder.

Finally, Nepali beauty Manisha Koirala has settled down in life after tying the knot with the Nepal-based entrepreneur Samrat Dahal in a traditional ceremony in Kathmandu on Friday. The function which was a private and a closed affari with close friends and well-wsihers took place at the the Gokarna forest resort, 10 km east of the capital. Manisha looked very much a coy bride in a yellow saree. She garlanded Samrat and exchanged rings as priests recited Vedic mantra. Besides parents and close relatives, Bollywood biggies like actors Suman Ranganathan; Manisha’s co-star in her debut film Saudagar, Vivek Mushram; and Govinda’s wife Sunita also attended the ceremony.

The girl has finally tied the knot with Nachiket Pantvaidya. The wedding took place in a quiet ceremony in Sonali’s Pune house. Only close family and friends were present to cheer the couple who exchanged wedding vows in a traditional Maharashtrian style wedding.
Nachiket is the MD of Fox Television Studios and the two dated each other for a while before making the final commitment. It may be mentioned here that this is Sonali’s second marriage. She was earlier married to Marathi play director, Chandrakant Kulkarni.

Sania-Shoaib’s marriage has been overloaded with controversies and confusion since the time the two got engaged to each other. Even the couple’s reception at Sialkot was not without disturbances as some uninvited guests coupled with security mismanagement forced the two to leave the function before it was over. The reception was hosted by the Maliks and Sania’s family had arrived from India for the celebrations but they had to leave for Lahore early owing to the mismanagement at the function.
Hundreds of people showed up for the reception, many of whom were not invited and some entered without invitation cards. This led to a huge rush at the main entrance and it made life difficult for the security personnel to control the situation. Reports also have it that invitation cards for the wedding reception had been sold by some people for between Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000.
To top it all, the power corporation officials insisted that no extra lighting would be allowed at the reception.

Sania Mirza created stirs when she broke up with her childhood friend Sohrab Mirza and more so when she got engaged to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. Though the marriage was supposed to take place on 12th April, it was preponed by the Mirza family and took place at hotel Taj Krishna at Hyderabad. After her much talked out breakup with childhood friend and fiancée Sohrab Mirza, Indian tennis star Sania Mirza find a life partner in Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik whom she is set to marry in April. Shoaib’s entire family will leave for India on April 7 and formal nikaah ceremony would take place on April 10 or 11. The Walima or reception is expected to be held in Lahore on April 16 or 17.
Shoaib is obviously excited over this and wrote in his Twitter page, “Thanks for all your support. And the news of me marrying to Sania is true. Inshallah will get married in April.
I fully understand what it takes to be an international sports person and I will support Sania in her career as long as she wishes to play.”
“Representing India at the 2012 Olympics is very important for her and I will be the proudest husband if she can win a medal for her country,” he added.
On the other hand, Sania too is quite hopeful that the relationship will work out this time and said, “My wedding inshallah is going to be the biggest day of my life. I have been in the constant glare for too long and would appreciate privacy at this very personal moment in my life.”

Finally, Rahul Mahajan found his life partner in Bong beauty Dimpy Ganguly whom he tied knots with in the Bengali-style wedding which was held in a luxurious Mumbai suburban hotel and the couple wore outfits designed by famous fashion designers Ashley Rebello, Neeta Lulla and Vikram Phadnis.
Dimpy managed to win Rahul’s heart over other finalists Nikunj Malik, 25 and Harpreet, 21, apart from over 16,500 applicants from across the country to be Rahul’s wife. Dimpy makes it clear that she will continue to work after marriage as well.
‘Rahul doesn’t want me to be a housewife. So I’ll work. But I don’t know yet what I will be doing,’ she says.
However, she wants her husband to pursue a political career like his father, late Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pramod Mahajan, rather than be in show business.
‘I really want him (Rahul) to pursue a political career,’ Dimpy told the reporters on Saturday night after exchanging wedding vows with Rahul on Imagine TV’s ‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega’.
Rahul decided to go ahead with his wedding despite the recent death of his uncle Praveen Mahajan, who was convicted for killing his politician father Pramod Mahajan in 2006. Rahul, who’s facing drug abuse charges, had earlier requested a Delhi court for releasing his passport so that his wife and he could spend their honeymoon in Maldives.

As an answer to Dimpy’s wishes of Rahul joining politics, he says, “Politics is in my blood but entertainment is my livelihood. You don’t get paid that much as an MP. Showbiz is a huge business and I am looking forward to exploring it. Be it TV or films. Moreover it has a mass appeal and gives me an opportunity to get connected with people.”
